we are aware, but with lotr it did match up. Besides there is nothing else to talk about really, and if we maybe see minifigs designs we'll get in the sets that is kindof a huge deal ;) With some design from the games you can tell that its inferior to legos standard in wich cases we'll know we wont see that in the sets.

WOW lego seems to be doing GOTG some serious justice, most of the figures looks kickass! That Nova officer(?) looks fantastic! but shouldnt drax be sand green?

baby smaug is extremely based on real samug...

But hes mouth is like that on the cover aswell as the baby smaug. Balin is there because in the game you can ALWAYS play 2 player, thats why the goblin is alive with bilbo in gollums cave and that is why Balin went with Bilgo into smaug. Same thing goes for radagas joining gandalf in dol guldur etc.

Bolg is sligthly shorter in the movie. go back and watch it. its jsut that intitial camera angle favors Bolg. Perspective and all that far as lego is concerned they should be same height

Legos lips meet way lower than they should. lego got a way too big middle spike. too small main side spikes. The scales on his chest are genric when in the movie they have a fairly distinct pattern. And they really should have invested some more into brown printing around his face.. look his upper lip is the same height as his nostrils, and who knows why they added an extra spike thing udner his eye.. lego rounded him off way too much. Lego has cat way too many corner creating smaug. on top of that due to his teeeth we propably wont be able to clsoe his mouth REALY.

Lego has gotten great at printing, jsut look at radagast's hat/beard, thranduils hair/crown, bofurs hat/hair, laktown guards helmets etc. Bolg is the same color as his father, lego chouse to make Azog tan so they should follow that through with Bolg. DOS the movie is less saturated than AUJ It just feels like they pay no attention to the fact that these orcs are related.. The lego game will proapbly throw in alot of bad father/son jokes but the design does not work out. Also in the movie Bolg's metal plates have kindof grown into his head, but the lego wearsion is like some hat thing sitting on top. -also best look at smaug yet.Theres a whole lot of inaccuracies going on, making Smaug very unimpressive. He should have been magnificent but ends up being kindof meh, hate it when lego disapoints...

Not at all, they would just 'replace' the shoulders with the armor and claws. Infact it would end up looking alot more natural than Azog does.

Fun fact, that piece was made for original design Bolg. Why they are not "printing" the claws on Bolg's is anyones guess..

That bolg i majorly ddissapointing, iff we get him in a set he should be made like Azog. He is is fathers son and in the movie they are of similar shape. Did they make Bolg light grey? once again he should be same color as his dad. certainly not paler?! He looks like a decent figure on his own, but since they made Azog another way this does not match up and therefor is kindof bad. btw i said bilbo had bard's COAT in blue, with the inside different(west and scarf) wich is waht he have, even the small lines on the fur are exactly the same.

you seem to not understand how lego does its things. Are you expecting a lotr wave to come out of nowhere? after several toy fairs and retailers catalogues, and that for a 10+ year old trilogy with no potential for spoilers? technicaly speculation sure. but the only option for 2014 is an exclusive set, and thats very doubtfull after we got orthanc last year.
