Hmm, I don't think they did a good job making them look like lego designs. Looks weird and inconsistent even within their figs. At that price Thats a huge issue.

It's the absence of that that leds us to believe we'll get armored versions in Erebor set. Don't you agree that we're better of getting armored versions?

I came to that same conclution, And I really really hope thats the case. bo5a is THE event, and hopefully they use all 3 sets to focus on this with the minifigures. and it might seem like that is the case atm. bo5a Bard, bo5a taruiel and bo5a Bain, in laketown set. Armored dwarves + bilbo with or without mithril in Erebor set. Dain + hopefully soldiers of all factions in the "bo5a" set.

For movie accuray I'd think. I assume the red armor does not stand out that well in DOl guldur, and it perhaps looks a little evil.. I think this new configuration looks very good, Just imagine it's in lego's vibrant gold and not that dull videogame gold. And we should assume it comes with a olive green(?) cape.

Purple one is Lindir We get gold armored Elrond in the set, His new armor is the goden 2.age looking armor with a new chest piece and a green cape. ___

Bain's jacket is good, but that baby face and that awful hair piece, even in the wrong color, no thanks. Bain needs, Luke skywalker hair in brown.

It's a very good fig, but we already got Bard and I prefer new characthers/soldier to reskinned heroes.

Bain's hair and face is just awful. we dont need another bard, we dont need another tauriel. ALfrid in the game does not look like he's Designed by lego due to the dastan hair+ hat. we saw no sign of mirkwood soldier, we saw no sign of new and armored orcs, no sign of a proper bolg.

TABA blue Bard is in in a dos poster. After watching that video I'm seriously worried for wave 3 of the hobbit sets...

There might be a very sneaky peek at Elrond new (3rd) armor in the hobbit game. Reports on preview footage of TABA says Elrond is in gold armor. Reports from toy fair said Elrond was in gold armor. The videogame shows Elrond in a new armor. I assume this is the TABA set one. But they only give use small glimpses, presumably they forgot to change it out, after adding in all the new LEGO designs to begin with.

Theres lots of gameplay videos from the game on youtube now. The only Characther I've seen so far that i think is directly from the upcoming sets is the Witch king. Galadriel I really doubt is taken from the sets. in game she got yellow Elrond hair and what looks like Arwen's face Witch king picture imminent: The reason I think hes from the sets: 1 The crown is FAT, lego dosent really make thin molds, but the videogame sometimes does. 2 All the print is new. NOT from lotr game. 3 It looks really good 4 it has quirky details - It should be noted that the crown does not look like it does in AUJ, but They used the wrong crown in that movie. - Am I sure it's the real deal? obviously not, but lets speculate!

I got it from youtube. and that figure is disapointing cause the eyes are plain, the color scheme is quite plain, it doesent look very dynamic, and the hemet is plain and could ned some more prominent color /texture variation. The way the games show "gold" lego color is also never any good cause they make it into a plain color instead of the semi shiny eparly orangey gold lego figs are. aaand the nose guard on the leg helmet is fairly nonexcistent
