Well, they had time to change the box art for the "trilogy preview sets" Changing the title is super easy, as long as they haven't started printing the boxes, wich i doubt. The possible release is still 6-8 months away. They've had alot of time and still do, to make another set. But I don't think they want to. There is some slim chanse there could be another store exlusive set tho.. right? But the focus might alredy be bo5a. it seems we might get: laketown set with Armored Bard. (blue coat with chainmail) Erebor set with armored dwarves, and mithril Bilbo So that would be focusing their non bo5a sets towards the coming battle aswell.

They didnt even model the inside of the 2x2 brick hm.

It is Girions sword and we have seen it before. In auj EE and DOS Meh, I disagree, one blue coat does not equal another completely different blue coat. Besieds you'd be more ccorrect with the possible blue coated Bilbo.

Wich are from an animated series that comes off as an anime-type style. They are not suppsod to be realistic and grounded. That said i don't think those figures look great either. ALso, it's less noticable on those cause the white fill in the entire mask holes and the black dots are bigger.

I completely disagree, They look like clone wars or frends characters as they are, In the movie they are suppseod to be more grounded and part of the real live action world, not some cartoon. Lego isn't following their own set stardards and it's ducked up.

The mouth is not "open" it it open in the sense that you see the WHITE teeth inside. When they got the pictures they removed the white background of the render to put it into their own orange background, when they selected the white to remove the, computer included the white in the mouth for obvious reasons, And it ended up being cut out with the rest of the background. The reason the minifigres looks bad is because of the eyes, In the movie they got very human eyes, but lego made the eyes very different to how lego does human eyes. Here is a photoshop to show you what they look like with normal human eyes. Much better in my opinion.

Um, those armors seems like amde up dwarf armor, Don't think we'll see those in the movie or in sets. I think that Thorin torso is the same "armored Thror" uses in the game.

It seems an oversight to not include frozen when the launch of the theme and the movie happened in the same year.

Theres alot of figs they could have amde that would have been tonnes better. But there certianly is soemthing to the fact that we'll end up with just about every major variation of bilbo seen in the movies. complete coverage.

Just looks so amateur, those hair pieces wouldnt cut it in lego, too skinnywould break and bend allover. And those noses looks awful, all lego noses looks bad.

Lol, that really does not work for me. Looks like someone dressed up as homer instead of being homer himself. And they would look better without noses.

Well, smaug is an expensive figure for lego to make.

Wow, nothing looks right about it. The lego looks like jello or something, looks like random youtube fan made it. well.. I guess the building coud be done like that in real lego, so thats a plus?

Theres no need to use a mold twize. When they can do that its fine, but they make alot of single use molds. A Lotr set with the twilight witch king can't offer anything people would want. More Frodo? Aragorn? Witch king already is coming in a cheap set aswell.
