Last year they showed of some minifigures online weekend before comic con. And last year they had 1 day dedicated to each of the themes they featured there.

I'd say a Rohan guard tower would be made of wood in the style of Edoras. not in stone like the style of helms deep.

Its common practise to sign multi film contracs with actors in any move that even ahs the sligthers possebility of becoming a franchise. Thats said, Hammer has signed on for more Depp has NOT.

You are aware that picture is gandalf with alot of Gimlis and have nothing to do with the hobbit movies right? also There and back again is the 2014 movie.

I would like to point out that the figures we saw last year was the ones from the set they were showing. (and that little thorin/nori mishap) 2 weeks till the weekend before sdcc (the weeknd we got the first minifig picture last year)

Dont get why Arwen has legos or a cape. the legs should only be used for her riding in my opinion. Theoden and Eomer should use the "gladiator" swords. Eomer should not use a cape or a shield.

Oh! both of these are more licensed than special in my opinion, For ease of people finding them, it certainly should be here I think. Having to go dig for something is a bit of a hassle. This is a discussion of the set and not the general cuusoo situation.

How come this isn't posted here yet? is this the wrong section or something? it certainly is a lisenced set. The result of the Cuuso project. The set includes parts so you can make it look like it did in all 3 movies.

Wish you'd put some more work into the side towers, its execution is a bit too apparent.

The miniatures would be buildings or structures made of bricks, the "planet" thing star wars does wouldnt be included.

Would be ncie if they cold make a series of miniatures. Similar to the planet thing they do with star wars or the arcitecture line. One miniature and one minifigure. That way more obscure Minifigures could get made aswell!

Azog and bolg are taller than the uruk hai, the uruk hay weren't really all that tall. They were tall in a human tall way.. But not tall in a really really tall way, like it seems they are portraying Bolg (Surely Azog wouldn't be shorter). That said, I wouldnt have any problems with Azog and Bolg being normal minifig size. Bolg would hopefully get a beard or shoulder pads not connected to his hair that would help his height a little!

I think Woody's full body would work well for Sauron, Bolg and Azog,

SO FAR. for the longest time Elrond was only listed for german PS3. (i'm pretty sure it ended up for both) -
I wouls make him white so it wouldnt be too similar to various armor on him. Same with Azog. It feels like bolg will get pushed to a minimal role in the movie they way PJ keeps loving Azog.

If they were to do prologue in a set. I wouldnt be satisfed uintill we had both a soldier of elves and men, wich both requires new molds. Sauron would obviously also need a new helmet. Isildur however take his off in the movie so no need for that exactly. I think LEGO should cover the non-prologue factions first. Lego should of put Sauron in the expensive orthanc set. As a great bonus and to cover for their extreme lack of minifigures (compared to star wars)
