    I don't think so at all, Not many themes gets multiple HUGE sets. and now LOTR already got 1.

    The extra Theoden and Eomers can both visits Orthanc. But then you'll "need" another Gandalf the white, Merry, Pippin, Aragorn and Legolas.

    Yep, spot on the historica thing comes of as a fairly inside obscure game thing for people (me) that doesen't partake in it. I will take a peek at the mocs now tho!

    Arwen is wearing the travel outfit... well its normally called the "chase" outfit Lego color photoshopped to be mroe correct.

    In UK you can propapbly buy the game edition that comes with the figure, no need for the "while supplies lasts" preorder crap.

    Oh Jor el's face print looks great! It's a real shame superman didn't get an unique cavill print....

    Its not reverse build, the rocks are connected by pins aswell (I believe) That said, I think it looks betetr the way i photoshopped it, using 2 of the doors as walls on each side.

    The fierce flyer might be scaled to the minifgs well, but not really to anything else.

    The cape "hump" will fill parts of that.

    I guess, but there seems to be so little that would have needed to be done do make them fit together. It's proapblt the beard that could 'give' a little. (you could say the beard was developed first, but with that short time btween the 2 releases, I'd say they would of had time to "fix" it.) Makes it easy for modders, but impossible for real lego sets. FYI: Gandalfs beard in LDD is the orginaly shown model with sligthly mroe sideburn.

    This would have been a perfect hair for Gandalf, It fits fine in LDD, but sadly not with real bricks, Lego were so close to making something perfect but missed it. I hope we can agree Gandalf looks abit silly with the hair they gave him...

    Well, his "cave" is the inside of Erebor. and a huge pile of gold is kindof uninteresting and a waste of pieces. Also modt people suggest Smaug comes in a Laketown set.

    I'd much rather have a Tall minifigure Sauron, the "hero factory" Sauron is way too large to fit with the scale, Sauron is tall, he is not a giant!

    The smiling Elrond face doesen't look like him at all.. Same goees for Legolas' hobbit version face.

    As for Lego rabbits, the one from the friends theme looks good (shape wise not printing) but they couldn't be connected in any nice looking fashion to anything but the ground. I say give us a new printed bunny, hedgehog (Sebastian), throw in a tree, some mushrooms and you got yourself a (AUJ) Radagast set!

    I don't think there is a way of making a satisfactory bunny sled as a set. I'm getting exzited for comic con, I assume they will reveal their first DOS set there along with the accompanying minifigs. WHat set/scen do we think this well be? I'd guess it would be another COMPLETE set similar to helms deep and bag end. (you know something that isnt jsut some random scenery parts)

    Is lego really in the business of not making new sets? They've had plenty of time to come up with new stuff since the trilogy change was made. And I don't think repackaging will really help sales. They might keep some current hobbit sets in stores long, but i don't think it will be at the cost of new sets.

    Something with crowned Thranduil needs to happen *twitch* Lake town I would imagine could be the top end set of this wave. Its supposedly the grand finale in this movie. Beorns hosue I don't see much use for.. Dol goldor will proapbly have a bigger part in this movie than the last, something with Bolg anyone? (btw the nazgul wee see in AUJ is not the witch king if the crown he wears is to be believed) The smaller sets can be some Elves vs orcs sets, we saw some fithing going on in the preview. I really hope we don't get any AUJ sets in this wave. They have quite enough to cover in DOS. I do want something with Radagast tho, but he propably can be added to the DOS dol goldur set.
