I think they would more likely be battle of the 5 armies' equalient of "uruk hai army" Why make prologue orcs and dwarves when you can make bo5a orcs and dwarves! (and elves and men)

I think the t-rex head size is big enough to get actross the fact that Smaug is Big. http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/8734/014hello.jpg

Come on, he's not that big. Remember bilbo is TINY. A 2000 piece drago is absurd!

Atm I kindof hope not. We're not sure how long Smaugs design has been finalized, so I'd rather wait for an accurate Smaug instead of something made from early concept art!

Agreed, Best thing about leaked sety names is when you can clearly tell wich minifigures will be in the set.

Just shape it, puch the back cape into the body, and then work the "shoulders"

I think the green used should have been the same as tauriel. And the shape of the brown thing should have been more pointed like a leaf.. I hope these guys gets printed legs if we see them again.

Keep in mind a lego hobbit is bigger comparatively to a normal lego, in the movie the hobbit is lot smaller than a normal human, smaugs head doesent need to be that big.

Thranduil and Galadriel is the only 2 main featured elves mission atm. I do hope Thanduil is coming this year. Galadriel could potentialy be an exclusive, now that they have a female hair mold. Theres the potential for atleast 5 more Hobbit exclusive minifigures, 1 for each theatrical dvd release and 1 for each extended edition! If theres a video game thats the potental for 6 more exclusive hobbit figgures. but I would assume alteast 1 more exclusive for each normal dvd release... if we get waves for both upccoming movies! The lothlorien set seen in the video game is pretty bad by my book, but it's obviously an early prototype of anything.. The white council would be a glorious set concerning minifigures, and should fit in womwaht with the council of elrond, making up more of rivendell!

That hair does not work in the back, and is far too "cooky" in my book. -

They did not do that for harry potter wich ahd 2 games so I kindof doubt it. but the full open world of lotr/hobbit would be nice indeed. Maybe on next gen now that xbox will have more storage space on their discs! I did a little bit of photoshopping on Lego-freak's photo of Arwens hair on Tauriel. Lego needs to make this happen on potential future Tauriel figures. Does anybody remember if we has set name rumors for the first hobbit wave before comic con last year? sdcc is little over a month away now, I'm getting a bit antsy to hear what sets we might get. -
Its so great that its usually super easy to mod away the stupid 'play fatures' I've kindof been udnerestimating this wave of lotr, cause initially i got grumy with the new minifig selection, but it's great! (as long as theres a Faramir coming later ;) )

Much prefer the action figure/minifigure outfit of hers, the one in that image looks dull. And her hair will look much more like lego Arwen's at various spots. -

Another nice review!. I like that the choise of set was adressed in the designer video! -
Nice review, great picturees good colors and not blurry! Any chanse you could do a picture of Tauriel with Arwens hair? All the lotr LEGO elves together looks sweet!
-
I don't like the way you put the trees in your combination of 2 sets. Also, Arwen does not sport a bow, like ever! Any chanse of seeing Tauriel with Arwens hair?

Yess thats the stuff, looks great! only thing that would make it better as a display piece was replacing the bottom plates with 2 of these: Think it would be 2 studs too short, but if obsessive you could mod the rocks to fit The combined "gates" makes a great backdrop for minifig display aswell!
