  1. And Mad Hatter, now that we have a perfect hat piece.
  2. I would be so down with Signal. Duke is one of my favorite new Bat-family members in such a long time.
  3. Kind of. Batman Inc established "Batmen" all over the globe, and Dick Grayson was still Batman for a time after Bruce returned from the past.
  4. Interestingly, I'm almost more interested in Lowery than the dinos of the set!
  5. That, fellow Bane avatar, would certainly be fun.
  6. These sound fun!
  7. Interesting; I wonder what "2 different Batman" figures could be. Alternate suit? Another Bat-ally, such as Batwoman, the Signal, or Batwing (the guy, not the plane)? The multi-armed eye sounds exactly what I figured they would do for Brother Eye. As for the other, I was wondering if they'd be doing an Ace the Bat-Hound, since they did Krypto as well.
  8. If it's a small wave which covers the last of the very few remaining figs, like Samurai, Gleek, and Cyborg (can never have too much Cyborg), I'm all for it! That already sounds like one small Fortress of Solitude set in and of itself.
  9. So, is this 100% based off of the show, or vice versa? Or were these planned with the show at the same time?
  10. Sounds like those Talons. Arkham Asylum had a good Batmobile, but since it was a fairly standard design, it's so similar to others we have I doubt we'd ever see it as the basis for a new model. The AK version, by comparison, is still highly stylized and newer, so I can believe it. What surprises me most is that the main Batmobile in the Ultimate Batmobile is somewhat AK-ish in design.
  11. I realize the classic answer, John Williams and his works, is incredibly easy to put out there, but it has to be said just how good his work is, especially on Star Wars and Indiana Jones. I absolutely love Hans Zimmer's work on Man of Steel, and likewise his and Junkie XL's work on BvS, which made me very sad that WB replaced JXL with Danny Elfman. Elfman's fine and all, but I have no nostalgia for movies with his themes. This may be something ground-shaking, but I honestly don't care that much for his Batman theme; Shirley Walker's subtly different version for BTAS is considerably better. One easier to overlook would be Christopher Drake and his many, many animated DC soundtracks. I'd say the highlight would be The Dark Knight Returns!
  12. This actually sounds awesome! I hope that Owen and Claire get different looks; I hate getting multiples over and over. And I would love a Carnotaurus! Also glad I got the JW T-Rex set on clearance, if we ain't getting Rexy here!
  13. What incredible news! Seeing as the Arkham games are my all-time favorite game series, I'd love to see Arkham Knight designs, in the Batmobile, Batman's suit, or characters. I'd reaaaally like to see the Arkham Knight himself, since this would probably be the only point we'd get him. Of course, Talons are great too, and even make sense if it's with a remote controlled Batmobile: they could survive getting hit by it, due to their powers! And Brother Eye sounds like a potential playset, so all power to that! OMACs could make great generic army-building 'figs, if included. Maybe we'd get a Ted Kord, if Lego's keeping up the dark sense of humor shown in the Vacation Joker.
  14. June 1938
  15. Random question, since I haven't found any. Has anyone made decals of any of the Uncharted characters, like Nate or Lazarevic? I'm tempted to whip up my own, unless someone else has done so already.
  16. Well everyone, the year's here! I can't wait to see everyone's thoughts on the sets as more people have them!
  17. I've not been able to locate any of the CMFs yet, sadly. Toys R' Us did have a couple of new sets, including the Fortress Party, but selection is still limited in my neck of the woods. That's a pretty awesome polybag for the Ultimate Batmobile. Is there any indication of how it will be available yet?
  18. The Type 1 cowl was entirely used for the "Batman" solo line started in 2006, and was initially used in the "DC Super Hero" line. The type 2 cowl first popped up in the Batman Jetski polybags, although the official art showed a type 1 cowl on the figure. Partway through the very first wave of DC Super Hero sets, they switched to the type two cowl instead of the type one, so sets like The Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape or the 6860 Batcave could contain one or the other by the end of their shelf run.
  19. Thanks, Lego, not only for keeping me hooked since my very first set at age five, but for always actively working to meet the interests and expectations that I and the community have shown. Thanks for really going above and beyond!
  20. I got Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and Assassin's Creed Origins for Christmas. I've been working on the former the last couple of days, and will start the latter once I've finished LL's Story.
  21. Maybe it's just my dark sense of humor, but I'm most definitely okay with getting plenty of generic figs alongside the real, named characters, primarily because it's just not Jurassic Park without copious amounts of barely-named people getting dino-murdered! That being said, any variety is good. Even if it's all the same few characters, I just want to see quality differences between figures (no Captain Jack or Shaggy situations, please!).
  22. I've been listening to the Arkham Origins soundtrack for the last couple of days. Gotta have a little Christmas Action music in my life.
  23. After replaying (and re-Platinuming) the first three Uncharted games on ps4 the last couple of weeks, I've been a tad aimless so far. My list has gotten a tad ridiculous. Games I am currently "working on," or at least started recently, without yet finishing or sticking with: Borderlands 2, a new Skyrim character, chipping away at the nigh impossible The Force Unleashed 2 "gold medals on challenges" trophy, The Witcher 3, Portal Knights, Lego City Undercover, Tales from the Borderlands, Assassin's Creed Revelations (again, on the ps4 port), Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter (ported from the ps2), Soma, No Man's Sky, and The Magic Circle. But replaying Uncharted 1-3 yet again? You know it.
  24. As a TN local, this intrigues me. I'll keep my eyes peeled.
