I have mixed feelings. If there is no castle/pirate theme in 2HY I'll say "yes I had hints poining toward this". Like many have said "castle doesn't sell well as it did once" On the other hand if there is a castle theme in 2HY I'll say "yes I had hints pointing toward this" because when asked I've being told "you never know what may happen" and 1HY is totally disappointing in that way. So, this time I really can't predict anything. I know for sure 2 UCS will happen in 2019. I know for sure that the freefall tower will happen in 2019 I have hopes for a Imperial Flagship revamp in 2019. I have hopes for a new nice castle theme. Apart from this I can't really say anything.

I'm not that much into Ninjago story, I looked in the forum for information but it was quite piecemeal, can someone give me an educated summary of why they're re-releasing sets from the first 2 seasons?

Perhaps it didn'ìt sell well because that faction is neither black falcon / crusaders / lion knights / wolfpack / forestman. If they gave a chance to one of these, maybe we would be telling a different story now.

I may add these, after months. I thought about that today because I now know most of the 2019 sets, and the ones I was awaing the most, the TLM2 ones, are a total disappointment in my own perspective. I hope the benny lenny kenny jenny set sells a lot. And fot a lot I mean a huge lot. So that TLG may try to do some fanservice regarding castle or pirates in future too. I acknowledge that this is what most TLG employees have to say, but in a recent question about a future castle theme I've been answered "You never know what's coming before it's coming". As I said, I ack that they would never say "give up your hopes, no castle theme" but that answer leaves me some room for hope. Good ol' pal @BrickJagger asks me to do the "best castle set" and I think I will do that in a near future just to drag some people here, plus it's been a lot of time since I did the last game. I hope some of you would play.

I honestly don't think that a kid that has not seen the movie may in any way be more interested in this stuff than in Ninjago or City sets. The TLM1 sets could fit some scenarios, like a city one. These can't. These do not blend at all with any theme a kid has, they seem just random pieces put all together. Probably they simply recall something that happens in the movie so there is no poor design, LEGO designers are top class IMHO. I can already see thes filling the shelves like the late Chima or Nexo knights, selling only at 30 40% off. Really, I'm disappointed for the first time since years. My last hope is the CMF series associated with this movie.

Wow, apart from the benny's set, these are literally of 0 interest to me. Which makes 1HY 2019 the wortst I've ever seen since the LEGO Dark Ages. No pirates/space/agents/castle/western - like themes. Ninjago is rebooting / time traveling so, old stuff, already seen, no interest. City sets are really meh. These... are horrible. Really. I just like the Benny set because that is PURE FANSERVICE which I happen to like. I'm sorry, I expect more from TLG, I'll pass through all of 1HY but the benny set and the elite guards SW battlepack for parts.

This is what I can tell. Series 19 is very likely to happen in September. As far as I've been told, they planned S19 for April/May and Disney2 for August/September but they switched them. Why? Dunno.

Series 19 won't happen in April / May. You will get your so many times asked Dinsey 2. This is what I feared.

Know what? I'm zero optimistic for the next year. No castle themes. No space themes. No pirate themes. Castle is dead after a very long story and nothing is going to replace it. Ninjago reboot = poor reuse of old molds with new printings. Overwatch / DOTs = zero interest to me. The only new theme I care a little is LEGO MOVIE 2. All the rest is licensed stuff I don't care about. And being reduced to hope that there is something interesting in sets that do come from a movie in which minidolls are there too and it seems to be plenty of that unikitty stuff... Seems like 2019 won't be my cup of tea. The only remote hope remains in something interesting from Wizarding World in 2HY. and Seresi 19 if the make it. And tbh, they really could make me feel the opposite by releasing a whatever-age historic theme, like romans, greeks, whatever... I'd buy tons of that stuff and it's still a gap in all LEGO lines. If playmobil sells them, why shouldn't LEGO? But I'm going offtopic

That would be the only interesting LEGO thing I would have for 2019 rightaway. For the rest, in dozens of sets the only interesting thing I saw is Reinhardt's helmet. Ninjago sucks.

No I'm very sorry I just think that there are in Harry Potter, so LEGO can have a chance to make them and perhaps it also unlicensed.
