  1. I would like to meet you in person and offer you a beer if possible before my time on this planet is over.
  2. If I am worth, it's worth a try. We should ask him more than me.
  3. I think that if I would get as much players as the best times (50+ players) that would be fun. In the "best series" game I am having just 15 16 players per round, I'll get to the finals however to end it, but these games aren't involving many people as before. Perhaps if @WhiteFang or another mod think that they deserve a little advertising on the fourm, maybe we would collect more players.
  4. @Robert8 did you keep track of how many figs made into real figs? Like Pizza Costume Guy, or Giraffe Suit Guy?
  5. I'll vote later on. Some news on this game: the next group, including the missing series, will be the last for this round. Series 19 is absent because it has a wild card for round #2 that will start within 6 days.
  6. Thank you very much for the excellent review as usual.
  7. @Pchan1983 I am no moderator, but I think it's not useful if you spam your review on different topics just to lure people on your youtube channel. Sorry if I sound mean, but please try to understand it's not funny to see the same video on different topics.
  8. So here we are. Today I start with our dream series. Please remember that we weren't a lot of partecipants so this is somewhat adjusted. Our series include: A phantom of the Opera A Snowman A Shepardess An Evil Genie A Grim Reaper A Centaur A Matador/Bullfighter An Undead Warrior A French Noblewoman/Queen A Silent Movie Actor An Aviatrix A Violinist The last 4 were tricky so I tried to figure out: An Orc/Ogre (One said Orc, one said Ogre, but they are quite similar) An old West Gambler/Bandit (One said Gambler, one said Bandit, so I tried to mix) A Zookeeper with a Baby Animal (You had different suggestions like a Baby Elephant, Baby Lion or Baby Lemure) A Tuba (or Trombone also) Player (I had two different suggestions) I tried to balance female and male characters when possible, and it would result in 8 males, 6 females and 2 neutral (Grim Reaper and Undead Warrior are just skeletons) We have 5 fantasy characters (Centaur, Evil Genie, Undead Warrior, Ogre, Grim Reaper), 2 instrument players, 2 characters with an animal. Surprisingly we have NO sports, NO costumed characters. In the following days I will reveal your lists and also how many points you've made.
  9. A new round has started and this time it's really cool!
  10. I was undecided between series 10 and series 3 but Mr.Gold made me vote for Series 3.
  11. I'm really inclined to second that.
  12. Hello, I'm doing some research for my own personal entertainment and I would welcome and appreciate answers. Premise: I do not own, nor buy, nor understand customisated minifigures. My first question is to the ones who do not put custom molds on minifigures, just print on original parts: which is the difference in your opinion within printing 2d parts or 3d parts? Why, is it considered "more purist" to print whatsoever detail instead of making 3d parts for your minifigures? My second question is to the ones who instead use non-LEGO molds. Which is the difference between printing a non-LEGO mold for a minifigure and printing a non-LEGO part that LEGO did never actually print, but it's quite essential (Eg: a plate with studs on both sides, a 2x2 corner plate with side rail, an axle with pin endings, and so on). I'll explain these two questions, of course. I'm very fascinated by things I cannot understand and I heard recently a lot of people saying "No, I would never use 3d molded parts for my minifigures" yet they print torsos heads and legs, or also I heard other saying "I would buy/print custom headgear or weapons that LEGO never made, but it's not the same thing as printing a brick". Thanks
  13. LEGO does in Flesh only characters coming from IPs owned by others. (Ninjago are all yellow). This occurs because of Lando Calrissian, it was racist to have a brown minifigure compared to yellow ones, so it was clearly correct to migrate to fleshie tones. On the other hand, I see a wrong move putting flesh in "general" archetypes of minifigures as it would bring the discussion of "Why don't we make this one brown then?" (like the Tiki warrior, who is yellow but it should really have been a brown toned minifigure) Those Abe Lincoln and William Shakespeare are the only exception and let's pray they remain, in order to have LEGO being a neutral toy. Yellow is not flesh. Yellow is neutral.
  14. Probably you already drew some of those ;)
  15. Actually, the 16 minifigures should be the most occurring in our lists. I have as now 12 (possibly 13) minifigures that occur in more than one list, so this is already a good starting point. The remaining 4(3) , if nothing happens, will be something that may cross over two people's desires which are very similar (like, this is not the case, just as an example, a space explorer and a space patrol, or a rugby player and a football player... I'll work something out). @Robert8 would you like to draw the dream series?
  16. Well there's still a game open in which you can state your dream series.
