These are all really nice, I like the asymmetry on the first one and the last one looks fun for a battle.

It's almost got the feeling of one of those 'animate pile of smaller things' type monsters. Really great looking. I love the silver skeleton arms on the thighs.

It's a sci-fi setting! That city area on the right is the planet's spaceport. Here's a closeup! That big blue ship is an interplanetary freighter. There are a couple small shuttles, and a sort of cruiser thing there.

This is just a project I've been working on for my weekly brikwars game. It's a micro-scale world map of the setting! Currently it includes the spaceport, the village, and a big ole mountain. I really enjoy working in micro-scale, but rarely find a reason to, so this has been a lot of fun. (Edit: Could a mod add 'WIP' to the title of this thread?)

Oh thanks a lot, Toa. That's really useful. I haven't played around with him very much today, does anyone have any suggestions for it before I do?

Thanks! The legs were the first bit I designed, like I said in my first post. I kinda designed it from the legs up, not knowing what I was going to do with the arms or head. I may order the parts to put this guy together if they aren't prohibitively expensive. (And I don't think they should be.)

I do have a few micro friction-ball joints in the arms, but I wasn't sure how to incorporate them into the legs without drastically redesigning. Though I have thought a redesign for the sake of better articulation may be in order. I'll play around with him once I get home from work. I'm not browsing forums at work what are you even talking about.

[MOC] 31007 Alternate building - LEGO transformer
JackBricks replied to wallacechow2005's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I like this a lot. It looks like it would be a lot of fun in a brikwars mech battle. I think I'll try making a brikwars card for it.- 5 replies

Absolutely excellent. I love the little outrigger pods and the thruster looks wonderfully greebly.

I'll definitely have to put together a scene for this tomorrow when I've got lighting!

That tank certainly was a dayglo monstrosity, but it was charmingly ridiculous. I went ahead and took some more shots of the robot for you. (: Here's the rather plain backside, you can see the neck connection and a bit of the shoulder bone assembly. Here he is with the grasper lowered and a better view of his weapon. It's some sort of laser gatling cannon or something like that. It and the hand are both connected to the arm by mini friction joints. Here's a view with the front leg plates removed to show the (simple and probably not very sturdy) leg assembly. And finally, here's a naked shoulder. I tried to show off the shoulder armour build some how, but couldn't quite figure out a way to do it. Does LDD have an option to outline parts?

Hello! Marth Brickard here with a question...

To get a nice selection of basic shaped bricks in newer and classic colors, I bought myself a few of these. -
I was going to order my Exo-Suit on the first when I got home from work, but it was already sold out on S@H. So I went out to my local Lego Store and the clerk said they had sold out on the website in two minutes. Luckily for me they still had about seven in stock of the hundred they received.

Nicely detailed recreation, but like others have said it seems a bit short and stubby to be a game-faithful reproduction.

Hello! I'm 18 and from the United States. I've been a lurker on this site for several years and finally made an account. My favorite lego themes are Space/Sci-Fi and Action. I'm not a great designer/MOCer, but I do love to collect and modify existing sets. I run weekly Brikwars games with my friends, where we've got an ongoing space opera type thing happening, so I may post about that if it's allowed!

Oh wow that's fantastic! What's that part sitting on the bench in the bottom lefthand corner of the image, a custom weapon?

Well, Hello everyone! I'm brand spanking new here, so if I'm doing anything wrong, please tell me! I've been lurking for several years now so I have sort of an idea of how things go here? Anyway, on to the topic at hand. I was fiddling with some orange curved bits I have, I think they were armor plates from this set, and thought they would make interesting legs for some sort of robot. So I loaded up LDD and put this together. Say hello to the very creatively named Orange Robot! He's very orange and looks a bit like he's wearing MC Hammer pants. What do you guys think of him? I'm sorry if I'm not supposed to post photos from LDD.
