  1. Vindsval watches the small dwarf, err I mean half elf, back out in fear. It would seem that not all individuals are as tolerant as they would have us belief.
  2. "Interesting drinks my good lady." Vindsval purchases 4 hurricanes, they may come in handy and be thoroughly entertaining in the future. 111-24=87
  3. Vindsval sighs as he enters the significantly cooler consigns of the Spider Arm's. He raises an eyebrow slightly as he sees the proprieties. He raises two fingers to his forehead in a formal greeting. "Well Met Web Spinner, You saloon is a welcome respite from the heat of these lands. I am called Vindsval, and I am among those who were called here to deal with the plight of the bandits who plague your town. Can you tell me anything of them? Do you know of any rumors surrounding them?"
  4. Vindsval stuffs the comical hat into his bags and nods to the Shopkeep. "Many thanks sir, I hope that we will be able to help remove the threat of this man." With this he bows his head slightly to the man who must be brave to make a living in such a place and heads to his final unexplored area the Spider Saloon.
  5. "I meant no offense, but I certainly expected to find more men here to protect your livelihood. I will need to speak with the defenders of your mine. If I were to run a place such as this I would have greater protection where the gain is greater. May the Wanderer shine upon your path." With that Vindsval leaves the Blacksmith and travels to the General Store. He looks over the items for sale and cannot help but smirk at the "Ten Gallon Hat." Perhaps one day he will have the opportunity to give it to his young friend lucas. "I would purchase your Ten-Gallon Hat. I know of a youngling who would find it most amusing." He hands the storekeeper a gold piece in exchange for the laughable hat. After completing the transaction vindsval attempts to gain more information about the bandit. "My companions and I were called to deal with this bandit by the name of Cole. What can you tell me of this man?"
  6. "Well met master Smith. You have an interesting selection of wares. I would have expected more weapons in a frontier town. Is there no armed presence here? I mean no disrespect, but how is it that this bandit has made such easy prey of your town?" Vindsval looks at the Half-elf examining yet another digging implement. Is Warlen certain he is not a dwarf?
  7. "Then he shall be so educated. I pledge to you that we will end his reign of terror as we ended the extortion of the Son of Han. Your town appears to be what is called a box canyon. I assume that means there is but one way in and one way out. This would make it easy to set up a waiting point for your bandit. Is there anything else you can tell us of his movements? How soon should we expect him?" Vindsval perks at the mention of the store and Blacksmith. He will let the members of the party looser of tongue to explore the saloon for now. "I would be most interested in exploring your town. I believe I will begin with your blacksmith."
  8. "Then such is the fate of men who fall to greed. I am sure a town such as yours will have one who deals with the dead. I leave these three in his care." Vindsval looks around the town. "Now that we have arrived, what is it you would have us do for you?"
  9. Vindsval Leaps down from the coach. "indeed we are. I apologize for the delay in our arrival, but we ran into a bit of trouble along the road." The cleric moves to the back of the coach where he tied the bodies of the three highway men. He unties Hanson, carries him to the two dwarves and drops him to the ground in front of them. This one called himself Hanson. He attempted to charge us to pass your road. He has been shown the error in Impeding the will of the Wanderer. And the error of threatening our lives. I bring him and his two compatriots to you. Are they wanted men? Do you need proof of their deaths? Is there a legal bounty on their heads? He then returns to the back of the coach and brings the other two bodies, placing them next to that of Hanson.
  10. Vindsval leans back in the Handcannon seat to see how the confrontation between Annienal and Bobby goes. Which will dominate, book learning or street smarts? Its an age old question.
  11. Ohh silly filter
  12. So is everyone just afraid of I love DisneyTM! jokes? So very quiet today.
  13. I am working on building set pieces for a quest I would like to host. My problem is my brick selection is limited and many of them came from "not Lego" source. Is it acceptable to use such bricks in a build?
  14. Vindsval looks around to see if his party is making their way into the Coach. He thinks to himself. "That mage certainly enjoys digging. Tis not a behavior I have seen in the Glade Born before this. Perhaps it stems from his human heritage." "Where is the coachmaster? Annienal, Miderun, did you see where he went when the battle commenced? Bobby, you spent time under the coach, was he hiding there with you? The day grows short and our employer awaits."
  15. So wish Vindsval and Calamity would have had some overlap in the hall. Not sure exactly what would have happened but it would have been dramatic.
  16. OOC: I know this was a different guy. Just following through with the wild west allusion of proof of death. wanted posters, and bringing in the bodies to collect the bounty. And I hope somebody is keeping track of my TV/movie references this quest. I just cant help myself. You still have Vindsval's health and Ether wrong. They should be base + 15. After tying the dead men to the back of the Coach Vindsval Climbs back up into the and-Cannon Seat, raises his Parasol against the sun, waits for the coachmaster and his team to return to the conveyance.
  17. Vindval lets out a snort and grins at Miderun's Disney party!. "Somehow I do not believe that Miderun Red Claw would blame anyone for the chance to slay the unliving." With that Vindsval begins the task of wrapping each of the highwaymen in their cloaks, and ties them as securely as he can to the back of the coach. "We have wasted much time here, where is the coach master? It is time we were off. Everyone, back in the carriage, we have business ahead of us."
  18. OOC: you forgot to give everyone their experience levels Vinsval looks down at the highwaymen, terror stricken across each face. "A coward dies 1000 deaths, a hero dies but one." Vindsval gathers the belongings of the dead and distributes them among his teammates. Loot Distribution Vindsval- 16 gold, grand potion Warlen- 16 gold, Feathered Cap Miderun- 16 gold, Club, 1 potion Bobby- 16 gold, dagger, 1 potion Annienal- 16 gold, Highwayman's longsword, After distributing the loot Vindsval Drinks A potion to heal his wounds from the battle. "We warned them that to stand in our way and threaten our lives meant death. They did nothing but delay our arrival at our true goal." Vindsval kneels beside the three dead men. "Wanderer take these souls in offering, Judge them as they would have judged us." He stands, "Miderun, I know you would have us burn them, but I believe it is the custom in lands overrun with thieves that we take their bodies to the local law. Do you agree? We could tie them to the back of the wagon and take them to the leader of the settlement, proof of the death of this man may be needed." Vindsval walks over to Annienal and offers her a hand up. "Lady Knight, these highwaymen will trouble this land no more. What is your say, should we take the bodies to the settlement as proof of their demise, or leave them here for the carrion of the desert?"
  19. "If that is the case, I certainly hope his gods deal with cowards more kindly than mine. A thief may find redemption, a Coward will never sit beside his lord in paradise."
  20. We are viewing the internet from the future. Call Doc Brown immediately.
  21. Tossing the empty remedy bottle into the carriage, Vindsval levels his gaze with and makes eye contact with Annienal. "Be at ease Warrior, Those of a true heart and motive have nothing to fear from the Hooded One. This thief sees only what his guilt and shame bring upon him."
  22. Vindsval places a hand against the wound, then thrusts his reddened palm outward in a solute to his opponent. Such confidence to only now land such a blow Son of Han. But easily dealt with. Vindsval Drinks a Remedy from the Back Row. Battle Order 1. Annienal 2. Miderun 3. Bobby 4. Warlen 5. Vindsval
  23. So many awesome choices.
