  1. I dont think so, it doesnt go up till you reach 14. Yours is actually the only one that is correct.
  2. "Indeed we shall Bobby, Indeed we shall. Of how much are you in need in order to purchase said scythe? It does seem to have some interesting properties. Though perhaps....." Vindsval trails off as he digs into one of his storage pouches. He withdraws a wicked looking double ended Sai. "While I obtained this before leaving the hall, I do not yet have the expertise to wield it. I would LOAN it to you until we return to the hall if you feel it would aid us in the coming confrontation with Cole."
  3. OOC: Vindsval drank a remedy (during the last fight) and a potion (after the last fight) so he should no longer be bleeding and at full health, and Verkenner is no longer poisoned. Stats should be Power: 28 (18+10)(X2 against Humanoid and Holy/Luminous) Defense: 3 Health: 26/26 (9+17) Ether: 26/27 (5+17 +5) Other than that, Item count and inventory looks good.
  4. "They were sent ahead of this Cole to prepare his way into town. It would seem he deemed his last greeting unfitting to a man of his station." Vindsval watches the pair ride off into the sunset. "May redemption find them on their path. It seems it comes down to a simple choice, really. Get busy living or get busy dying. It is good that they chose the latter."
  5. Vindsval looks at the two would be highwaymen, he gets the feeing that they serve more out of fear than out of loyalty. As I see it Son of Law, Child Kangaroo, there have been two roads laid before you. Stay here and continue to try to intimidate us, which would surely end in your deaths or flee from us and tell your master we await his presence. The later could very well end poorly for you as he may not be pleased to hear of your early return. I would off you a third path. We, my companions and I, are here to end the tyranny that this Cole has let fall over this settlement. If you choose to side with us, I will hold your past as past and allow you to leave this land free men with no price upon your necks. What say you? What is your decision, Fight, Flee, or side with us?
  6. Looking to design a possible shield. In your opinion as a QM and a Player which balances good effect with disruption to the game mechanics best. Edit Got it, changes made and adjusted.
  7. OOC: and the flashbacks to elementary school begin, cause guess what my first name is and how it's spelled. "There are those among us who strive to find a balance in such things. But it does seem as if there are far more who relish in the extremes."
  8. "Do not despair Annienal, each soul walks their own path. At every step a possible divergence. I heart delved in violence has but to turn aside and a new way can be chosen. Who is to say that this day will not be such a day for this Cole?"
  9. "Whether there is violence or discussion depends entirely on This One's Master." He motions at Lawson and the Kangaroo Kid "We know his master is coming if we are here or nay."
  10. Vindsval looks askance at Miderun, never in all of their travels has he seen the woman so . . . well so happy. It might possibly be far more terrifying than the giant scorpion from Tridentia. "There you see my sentiment doubled Son of Law. Return to your master, and tell him we eagerly await his return."
  11. "Then be on your way and tell your master I will await him here. For I fear I cannot allow you to stay here and intimidate or threaten these good people."
  12. "Ironic that one who calls himself the Son of Law, brings demands of fealty to those over whom he has no claim. I admit that I am new to this settlement, and know not its ways, but I do know that there is no king in this land to whom these people need bow. I would meet with the Cole, perhaps his wishes are misinterpreted and his wish is not to oppress these people but to embrace them as friends. Tell your master this. I shall be waiting here for him."
  13. "The Wanderer, High God of my people. He who leads us upon the path." Vindsval stops short before he can finish his usual description, last time it ended with him making rather a spectacle of himself. "I is He whom I worship and in His name that I greet you. I hope we are well met traveler. I am known as Vindsval, Called the Half-Born. What may I call you and your companion?"
  14. Vindsval snags Bobby as he walks past him, and whipsers to the young man. "You are a sight less conspicuous than I. Find the other. Bring them here, but do not make a show of yourselves. These may be friends, these may be servants of Cole. WE know not as of yet. But I would have us prepared if it comes to blows."
  15. "I believe that to be the reason for our coming. I know not how this will go Mistress, perhaps you should bar your doors once I leave." Vindsval knuckles his forehead and eaves the shop. Once in the street he moves to the side main road clearly visible to, but not directly in the path of the oncoming horsemen. A creature of his size could not hide, and It would not do to be trampled under thundering hooves. He loosens Verkenner in its bindings, and then He raises a hand and greets the two men. "May the Wanderer guide your path." As he does so he looks around, wondering where the others are.
  16. Glad to hear it.
  17. "Tell me Madam, you clearly prefer the cooler climes. What brought you here? Has the Cole been a threat to the proprietors as well as the miners?"
  18. Would a princeling setting up a court in the region be out of character for the area?
  19. I will read up on those. Is there a notable human presence in the region?
  20. I am looking for information on personalities and locations in and around the Abra Desert. Has anything been written about it? This is what I have found so far. "The Great Desert of Abra is home to many things, beings, secrets and monsters. The Trading City of Carthago is on the north side of the continent, and maintains a solid trading connection to Eubric, and is a popular stop for ships on their way to Salmanda, or is the point where travellers trade in ship for caravan, if they don't have the stomach to brave the Straight of Sirenes. The west side of the continent is an area troubled with slavers and piracy, and therefore is not a common destination for people from Eubric. There is also the location of the city-state of Strivvi, a city-state build on top of ruins of an ancient civilization, and a hub for slavers and other scum. The Great Desert itself is for the most part uncharted, and is mostly inhabited by nomads and primitive tribes, although it is said that it houses many secrets..."
  21. OOC: sorry man but I can't make out the last part. true true, but why .... I can't make out the rest.
  22. "Pardon my companion dear lady, one can only assume he is too shy to address such an exotic beauty as yourself. The smaller races, they continue to both astound and befuddle me."
