Vindsval nods to Fabian. "indeed we do." He redirects his attention to young Luke. I am afraid we must leave again youngling. It is our duty to make certain the magical flower reaches those who would use it. He hugs the boy close. "May the Wanderer look after you Luke, and know that I think of you often. Perhaps someday you will visit me in the city and I can show you the Hall of Heros." He stands and tousles the boys hair before turning to the group of adventures. "it is time we depart. Stow your gear and move to the ship." He clasps William's hand "Until we meet again old friend. Hopefully next time without the need of killing." With that he cinches his pouches tighter and BOARDS THE SHIP TO CARTHAGO.

Vindsval kneels before the child. "We went on another adventure here on your island. This time we were sent to obtain a magical flower. You will never guess where we found it. It was in the cave of the evil wizard that caused so much trouble here when we first met. But to get there we first had to battle animals of the forest and their king, a giant scorpion. It was so large that it could have held even I in its claws. If it were not for my companions here it may have gotten the best of us." Vindsval motions to Annienal, Warlen, Miderun, and Actaeon. "Miderun you remember yes? Please let me introduce you to the others. They are eager to meet you. This is Annienal a Brave knight, Warlen a master of Magic, and Actaeon a far walking Ranger. You see there are many paths one may walk in the pursuit of being a hero."

Vinsval's brow creases slightly as he listens to Warlen's account of their adventure. "The small-ling certainly has a portion of the zeal if not the skill of the bard's of my birthlands." He moves to where Miderun is speaking with the mayor, and joins them in their conversation. "Indeed if there is anything else we can do before we are to return to the hall, please do tell us. I would spend more time here if it were possible. Though the site of much strife this place fills me with a peace I found little in my travels down from the North."

I am looking at it for Vindsval as a Roleplay fit. Protecting and avenging hand of the gods would seem to fit him fairly well.

Vindsval's eyes dart to and fro as the company journeys back to town. "I cannot shake the feeling that we are being watched. Am I being paranoid? I wonder how far the rumors of the power of the bloom have spread. If they have reached the pirates should we not be ready for an attempt upon it Could that be why they attacked when we arrived?

Vindsval smiles warmly at the Explorer and his decision. "There is great wisdom in showing respect for power Virgil. I am pleased you have decided to show such restraint. If what you say is true than this is indeed a thing of Value beyond measure. Even more so to have bloomed in a place where such suffering was born. Let us return to town and tell our tale."

Vindsval moves cautiously deeper into the former lair of the Necromancer. He begins to search the cave for items of interest, traps, or treasures left there by the Wizard.

OOC: it was the math for my ether I was talking about as well. It should be (5 +12 +5) (base + levels +robes) the total is the same though.

Vindsval Returns the Tonic to Warlen. "As I said earlier, master mage, As it was a loan of coin, at the end of our journey you can repay me in kind." OOC anyone else unhappy with the loot distribution and want me to change something?

Vindsval watches silently the elf offer the telescope back to the explorer, a family heirloom perhaps? WE have farther to go, this may help him find the courage to continue on with us. If there are more beasts within the forest another set of arms fighting at our side would be a great boon. Vindsval hands out the remaining loot. Loot Distribution Vindsval-30 Gold, Venom X2, Poison Bomb, Whips X2 Annienal-30 Gold, Telescope Miderun-30 Gold, Venom X5 Actaeon-30 Gold, Floral Bombs X2 Warlen- 30 gold, Explorer’s Dented Helm "Virgil, as you have seen your brother avenged and his spirit put to peace, would you continue with us in our search for the Flower?"

"I believe master Warlen had he eye cast upon that helm. The gems set within its brow would allow him to channel more energies than he can now. " The Giant uses a scrap of fabric to wipe the venom from Verkenner. "There does indeed seem to be great power to be found down the path of those that sting and bite. This begs consideration. But is it a path to darkness or one though which glory can be found in the light? Would I master it or it me?" Vindsval muses quietly to himself, looking between the dead beast and the soiled rag in his hand. The throws the rag into the weeds and moves to the task at hand. He walks up to the battered scorpion scorpion and begins to collect the loot strewn about it. He collects the Telescope, vials and gold then pries the helm from where it was jammed under a chink the beasts armor. Lastly he moves to the tail and removes the poison stinger. This he wraps and places with the other pieces he has collected from the vermin of the isle. He returns to the group. He begins by giving 30 Gold to each member of the party including himself. "What say all of you, is there anything here which you covet? For myself I would continue to explore the power of the beasts of this land. The venoms and poisons of the wild hold great power." Wouldn't my ether count be 20/22 (5+12 +5) since ether and health do not reset at the end of a battle?

Vindsval looks to the rest of his team as the ranger leaps back into the fray. It appears that Warlen is looking a little worse for his experiences with this bug. He moves closer to the mage, being careful to stay out of his line of sight. He has found spell-casters are touchy about that sort of thing. He begins a second Prayer and casts Healing on Warlen from the Back Row. Battle Order 1. Annienal 2. Miderun 3. Actaeon 4. Vindsval 5. Warlen
