Is the new gearbox more reliable than Mustang one? Could you tell how big approximately in studs is the gearbox alone?

I like new doors concept. Will you make it orange? I assume 42056 has most of the parts needed and I will buy it only to build this beauty. Will it have HOG steering?

I agree about the front - it is instantly recognizeable. Not much room to improve it. It really looks like Aston. As for the doors, I keep my fingers crossed that you will find a way to improve it. Good job with the progess!

I can't wait to see the final result! I hope all will work in the real build and there will be minimal friction. I'm thinking about motorisation, I would like to put two XL motors facing each other in the place of V12 engine driving one gear, steering M motor on the right side of central tunnel and battery box near the rear axle, or above it after some modifications.

Why don't you make the upper mounting for the strut like in Sheepo's mps? It is way simpler.

The more I look at this, and other similiar threads, the more I feel that TLG will never produce 'perfect' set, because there is always a way to improve. Good job guys! I hope I can afford to buy this set and make all the possible mods Nice job Tommy with Macpherson struts!

I wonder how it will work with two XL motors. The inputs are only at the back, right? Is there a chance to have inputs in front of the gearbox?

Is the 2L yellow axle connector at the front the input? Is it possible to make it AWD?

It is jerky because of the space between teeth of each gear. When you add many gears, there is a lot of space and it takes some time before power is transferred to wheels. Also clutch gears have teeth too and axle needs to be rotated a bit before gear is engaged.

Have you tested it under some load? Isn't there too much friction on some gears? No gears grinding?

Can anyone explain why is there second 8 tooth gear near knobs? It is not connected to anything.

Yes, I will change them, as well as 2L LBG liftarms connected to small panels in the front. I still need to figure out where to put the IR receiver.

Color is minor problem. Black would look nice though. Front part shouldn't be so straight, it should be more rounded. Will it be LPE powered?

One more update - front lights, first iteration of it, but I quite like them to be honest. I have changed front bumper a bit too. It looks better now. I think it looks very predatory :)

Hello, time for an update. I decided to give it a go and build Alfa Romeo Giulia. The model drives and steers pretty nicely. Gearbox works fine, there is no gear grinding. Steering is great with M motor and in manual mode when 8 tooth gear is slided off the worm gear. Front suspension is awesome, feel free to copy it and use it in your own models. Interior is fairly detailed. Front part of the car is going nicely. Check the photos :)
