  1. A lot of modern cars use two lower links in the front suspension, for example BMW in all series or Alfa Romeo in Giulia and Stelvio models. They use two lower links and a macpherson as a upper link or a single upper link. It's perfectly doable in Technic.
  2. Nice changes! Would you mind showing us wheel hubs? Does the front suspension have all the proper angles? Kingpin, caster, ackerman?
  3. You may need to add another spring to that strut as the final weight of the model would be greater than it is now.
  4. I know what you mean, but there is 2 studs difference between two axis - wheel turning axis and up and down movement axis.
  5. As for the suspension - try pneumatic cylinders. Or add some torsion bars to that. Is the front suspension working okay? The wishbones mounting points to the hub do not match with the turning axis of the hub.
  6. Really the difference is so huge? Thanks!
  7. Hi, How hard is the Daytona shock absorber compared to the extra hard 9.5L yellow/black one? Thanks!
  8. Then change big shocks to small ones. It's doable but challenging for sure.
  9. Why RWD when the quattro drivetrain is the best feature of Audi's cars?
  10. Why does the rear axle have wrong setup? The pivot points of the upper and lower arms are not in line with cv joint...
  11. What about putting 16 tooth gear on the same axle as 24 tooth gear on the bottom and use is to drive chain (use 16 tooth gears on top then). It would extend one stud to the front though.
  12. Wishbone ball joints on the wheelhub and CV joint are not in line. That may cause problems.
  13. Wonderful job, very agressive look, I love it. Any chance for a video or more pictures? How did you manage to get the power distribution between axles?
  14. Pretend they are winter wheels, something like 17" on a bmw 5 series :)
  15. What about 42110 Defender modifications in terms of chassis and suspension?
  16. I prefer bigger tire sidewall but overall better tire proportions over the tires that look nowhere close to widest supercar's tires.
  17. Again, you can use 81,6 mm tires and they are perfect for regular car in 1:8 scale.
  18. They are the same size as Porsche, Lambo or Chiron wheels. Diameter of the tire is the same, but they are more narrow and then more realistic for 'normal cars'.
  19. Please, rework the front suspension with correct length of steering arms and adding Ackermann geometry.
  20. It works better, because the suspension design keeps the weight of the car better than Chiron's one. Moving to the side means toe in / toe out - huge mistake on designer's side.
  21. I meant the towballs mounted to lime green 2x1 liftarms on the wheel hubs. They are not attached to steering links or suspension arms / stabilisers.
  22. How sturdy is the chassis for twisting? I mean when you take the chassis with both hands, keep them near both axles and twist the chassis from side to side. And another question - what is the purpose of those red towballs at the wheel hubs?
  23. When I am looking at the gearbox now (4:50 in the review), it seems to be pretty difficult to dissasembly it due to inserted axles into the frame. You need to pull out axles from one side and then bend axles on the other side to pull them out.
