Goblins aren't the biggest or the strongest of the denizens in Nocturnus, but their ingenuity is matched only by a few of the peoples in the east. Various war machines and have been deployed across the dark lands in preparation of war, the newest being the Goblin Siege Boat. Covered in wood, save for a few oar and firing slots, this ship can deliver up to 10 warriors to most anywhere through out the swamp. It's light enough to propelled by one oarsman, but strong enough to deflect or absorb arrows and spears. Inside there are various supplies, including ladders, pitch for fire arrows and bombs, axes and saws for constructing a temporary battlefield outpost. This particular vessel is on a mission to hunt down a certain necromancer...

Thank you! It's not a coherent personal story persay..just small dialogues on each of my Nocturnian themed builds. Though i suppose I may have to put some effort into it. Thanks En! Thank you Titus! Thanks Henjin! Thanks sir I appreciate the little detail you pointed out!

Zant, shrouded in an aura of invisibility, approached Tshv'ok silently, until at the last moment, he appeared within feet of his favored tradesman. "I hate when you do that..." Tshv'ok said in an annoyed tone. "I know..that's why I do it. And besides, you've seem to have gotten accustomed to it since I've been meeting with you more often, so now I need a new amusement, but that's for another time. Do you have what I asked for?" Tshv'ok replied "Yes, in these sacks are as many moonstones as I could gather in the time you gave me. This seems a bit out of your scope these days, so I can only help but wonder that are you planning." Zant spoke excitedly, almost as if he were a child getting his first enchanted pie. "You know what is about to happen in these lands in the next few months. Battles will be waged on a scale Nocturnus has not seen in thousands of years. Armies are gathering in all corners of this land, and Raavage is setting up the pieces to eventually wipe this land clean of all who oppose him. You know my business very well Tshv'ok, I deal in death, and it's about to become a high commodity. I will use these stones to capture as many defeated warriors and fallen civilians as I can, and in my doing, these souls will help fuel Raavages ambitions to bring Nocturnus, and eventually all of Historica, to heel!!" Tshv'ok looked blankly at the necromancer, took a moment and finally spoke, breaking the silence..."As long as I get paid..." Starting to kinda get back on track with the Civil War stuff..I know this may be random but I have a plan that will eventually tie this into my own little storyline. Thanks for looking!

My main two critiques: the ground and the walls could use some texturing and foliage. I like the lime ice cream as bubbling swamp and the edge of the swamp is nicely done.

Great addition to the city, I like the choice of colors for the houses, and the lively atmosphere is very nicely done.

Looks like something put of POP. Great architecture and rock work. That split formation is very nice!

Laesonar 3 - Unexpected Encounters [Part 3]
Blufiji replied to en_zoo's topic in Guilds of Historica
I like the foliage, it's dense but not overwhelming, the trees are built solidly, with enough covering, particularly the willow. The house is unique, but I think it could really do without the reds and oranges as Henjin pointed out, as well as bringing a bit more order to the wood pattern (blending the dark brown and brown). Good work on the irregular base and the blending of the green/sand green and dark tan...I don't think the light tan path is needed as it contrast with the rest of the build too much but thats just me. Again agreeing with Henjin, the olive green could probably be left out, or at least blended among the the rest of the foliage better, and I think the lavender grass and red flowers can go all together, as it may be taking away from the build rather than adding it. Other than that, the build is very aesthetically pleasing and a solid Avalonian representation.- 14 replies

Good to see you back. I admit I've been real lazy about my story line, but that is definitely gonna change soon. Got a few builds planned for the resistance and gathering of forces type themes. -
Good to see you easing your way back into things. Where did you get that shield?

Welcome Fishsticks! and I'm looking forward to squaring off against you Architect-For The Resistance! -
Looks good, I see not only DF and LD influence, but also Graham's style with the trees. Classic Avalonian style architecture and colors. My only suggestion would be to blend the green and dark green ground better, to eliminate those hard color boundaries.

I enjoy the foggy builds and the lighting..really sets the atmosphere. It's good to see builds that show a more introverted view of things such as this one. -

A very lively scene. The colors look good here and the greebling and the angling on the walls are well done. -
Nice work on the dragon but I'm more impressed with the architecture of the buildings.

Those posters look amazing guys! I'm glad to see that this wasn't thrown by the wayside, just being worked on in secret!! Oh and Z-those hidden builds (particularly the first one) I am definitely excited about.
