But the thing here is that Ninjago indeed has hell and it's called literally underworld. It's the final of the first wave. What are the changes they won't recycle this kind of hell for Bionicle too as it has already borrowed so many other concepts from Ninjago?

Kiddified story? What about going to Hell then? http://www.amazon.com/Escape-Underworld-Lego-Bionicle-Chapter/dp/0545925401/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1461131040&sr=1-1&keywords=bionicle%20chapter%20book%203

These are really cool, awesome and use creative techniques. That said some of those techniques are also illegal and it would give the project better change of getting trough if they were addressed beforehand

How do you store your Bionicle figures?
GK733 replied to Logan McOwen's topic in LEGO Action Figures
All of my old sets are in pieces and in big boxes. Everything G2 is assembled besides couple of duplicates. New set wave "groups" have their own shelf but after a while I put the wave together on same shelf. If you already didn't get it I like wasting space and thus also put the sets' boxes behind them.- 10 replies

Do what suits you best. Nevertheless it's important to address the state of the line. Sometimes the discussion goes a bit too far, I do understand that.

I guess the superhero ultrabuilds were so bad everyone just forgot about them. I agree with TwistLaw that if you every time want to sound an alarm when giving an advice it just likely kills the whole discussion. But I do appreciate we have moderators that do their job.

Doesn't really tell anything new like I would had expected. "Also, because the pieces were quite detailed they were prone to breaking" I've got many, many broken pieces and I can easily say that this was not because of the details, but the connection being faulty/worn out.

People generally view Ben10 itself as a childish and in some cases cringeworthy series. Accompany that with the sets being expensive, and the building system as really basic and lacking with customization options. This should give fuel for hatred alone, but just accompany that with the same mindset of people that say Hero Factory killed Bionicle.

I think they originally planned to make a water themed beast but the big corporate guys came in and said they have to make Kopaka sell more Or it was originally much whiter but it was decided they want to give dark blue more recolors instead of using the existing white shell from Star Wars constraction to give the set more appeal. Given that we have white shells in almost every size already this sounds the most possible. Truth to be told, while this is a terrible edit it does look worse with white color

The lack of stoking is entirely reasonable because some stores suffered from getting too much of the 2015 sets. I've notice that Scandinavia and Finland are all lacking Ketar and Uxar, I think it has to do with the fact how much I saw leftover Lewa's and Pohatu's last year. Doing good or not I think it's entirely reasonable to think the next Winter wave will be smaller. I like to go by the idea that we'll get a new toa team, but it's only 4.

Which Bionicle colours sold the best and why?
GK733 replied to Fulcrumfan91's topic in LEGO Action Figures
The discounting of Pohatu sends a pretty clear message that it's game over for brown again, might as well call the next one a toa of sand. -
That's kinda the thing. Only thing keeping Bionicle afloat even if the sells aren't that great is that there's nothing to replace it.

Didn't Chima and Ninjago both use a three-year plan? And despite that Chima and Ninjago's original run didn't have a second wave for their last year.

I think it's pretty clear at this point that the last summer wave can be hold responsible for poor sales. I just really hope the next doesn't fall flat on itself.

Maybe not worst but not at all the best. While the first wave was selling pretty good the skulls are still chilling on some shelves While there are other factors of course. and the skullies aren't essentially bad I think they just look really uninteresting to the general consumer. But is it game over for G2 already? Nah. JtO and the sets launched for the most of the world less than a month ago. Beasts are cheaper to produce due to the lacking amount of molds and recolors. Also Ekimu is likely to boost the summer wave, even if the beasts tank. MMvsSG sold really well, but I don't know if Umarak TD can top that.

The problem with the lack of villains and the feel of sets lacking overall would be easy to counter by making the smaller $10 sets almost polybag tier. Certainly they wouldn't be as cool as the $10 sets but for me personally I could easily do without the traps at least. Making the smaller sets, well smaller would help to focus with the larger sets. I'm not saying I know it, it's just what I'm assuming would happen. I feel that the protectors used too many pieces for their torso build, two shells, 2 technic CCBS connectors and addon + some pins. While now you could simply slap something like unity piece on there and save a lot.

The lack of connections sure is. I mean, out of the four new molds with the summer sets which 2 are masks, (which is acceptable) but both the jaw and especially the crystal shell seriously lack with connection points.

It would be good to hear how the line is doing. The adding of Netflix, but the lack of molds gives a mixed message. Don't we still have an official word? I hate to jump on to conclusions but if no one there addresses the subject I really have to.

So far all of them have been rather cringeworthy. Hero Factory didn't had any (if not counting in Breakout in the end titles) So I'm kinda betting on them having a small intro but using only the Mask of Control Theme. Not an actual theme song.

I get the feeling the whole thing might be rushed and and made in very little time space, so the deadline is left vague. I could really be wrong of course but what took my notice that despite the game models being stylized after the JtO, Onua for example features full golden chest only seen in the leaks. Which could indicate that by the time the game was ready, JtO wasn't. This means, it has been completed only recently/not yet.

The mobile game spoiled it.

It seems they can't summon them from thin air though, Gali for example took all the water she threw at the skull warrior form a nearby well.
-
So as they are all now pushed on Facebook as well can we expect the series to launch rather soon-ish rather than need to wait half of a month or so?
-
I already pointed this out but I think the top of the head is used to give them eyes. And instead of having an eyestalk they have some configuration on the back of the head. As you can see on Lava, the horns connect further back than with the horns we have had before. Their eyeslits are further away from eachother than on previous sets so they wouldn't even match with the eyestalk if they had it. Umarak The Destroyer on the other hand uses MoCo and it's dimensions are mostly the same, it's eyeslits have stayed in place so I'd guess he will have a mask pop-off function, but because there's so much mess on the back I doubt the horns and head are even connected together. Quite honestly while as the set beasts have masks I don't think in the story this is the case or they are masks but they are a former masks turned into mutated mess like on the Mistika Makuta.
