Guess I know that one anon :D They weren't finalized, although those were CGI renders, there is one thing that at least points that out. Numerous people mentioned that in the final skull sets, there was no weird bar on the sides of the armor like on their prelims. The same bar exists on the leaked uniter Tahu, which means the render is just a prototype. It's best seen in here pointed out by Daler99 on TTV

I find the long beard very nice feature but the beard itself looks too wide and the horns are indeed too small, but I guess the mask would be quite impractical if they were larger than that. Anyways, it's a blurry and front shot so it's not really possible to figure out what is what's actual depth. After some touches of magic:

Bionicle Best ones are Avohkii and Arthron Worst masks are the Inika and Mistika Kaukau. Best helmet is the one coming with xendox, vorox, zesk and Mata Nui. Absolute worst is the one Vastus wears. For G2 my favorites are the protector masks, Mask of water, mask of ice and the wide-chin skullmask. I don't really hate any of the new masks but like almsot everyone else I tend to dislike the mask of jungle because I don't feel the design is respective for the original enough. Best helmets from Hero Factory are the 1.0 ones -bulk and surge 2.0 barely are helmets 3.0 are an astrocity with almost nothing salvageable besides the wolf helmet. Brain attack Breez helmet is one of my favorites despite not owning it myself. Scarox has a really good looking helmet. That said Brain attack Bruizer and Bulk are the absolute worst.

Prelimnary Kopaka and Onua didn't have any stickers. It's certainly possible.

I hope the theory that Loss's mini comic is an aftermath due to the broken bridge is true so the golden mask could still appear. And as we saw, Kopaka's drained mask doesn't actually exist.

For some people they are a pain to apply. I'm mad about the fact that numerous medias forget them some times, good example are Kopaka's legs on animations.

Ah, I just realized something. Ekimu's shield didn't appear at all, is it considered non-canon then?

I'm still kinda puzzled why all the skullvillains are so short. Two friction joints can't be missing only because of the budget as shown by next years toa.

I'm afraid that they will be flat on the back like the Inika for not having a gearbox. Yet again I have only seen them from the front. though I guess because they will have to connect with the creatures the backs will look more filled.

Saw no discussion about it on this page, well it's still my bad. Would had liked some obscure teaser of Umarak rising in the forest at least or something... more than just those armor parts.

I see some people are counting on a NYCC reveal but as there is a possibility we get absolutely nothing (Still pretty sure there will be a promo mask at least and seeing their increase in media presence I find it possible we get at least something) when Lego usually shows of their new stuff for next year?

It could actually be delayed for the announcement of the new sets but of course it's just a possibility.

We also got the finalized pics of almost every winter 2015 Lego sets in 28th of September, they weren't official though and were leaked by J2G. Has he been hinting about anything lately?

15$ Is most likely his price considering he is the first set of summer and has to be cheap. There's no way to stretch that for a set that is almost as broad as Uniter Onua, but even taller, it would mean sacrificing his entire weapon to make up for the cost.

Most likely he is just a shorter Pohatu with Onua's bodybuild. Anything shorter than Pohatu will just look goofy with that chestpiece, pretty sure he has a custom upper torso but the same bottompart toa and Umarak use.

I believe I have seen every CGI Bionicle image Lego has published and that is for sure a new one, yes it could be just a weird placeholder or an early concept sent by the animation team and can't judge before we see actual screens. So far, not so good, I have always hated when they bend the plastic like that.

Has anyone else noticed Umarak's "mask" is assymetrical? Judging by the pattern on his forehead that is repeated with the skullgang I'd say he doesn't wear mask at all but it's his head that roots and bark have covered up. There's also bark on his chestprint. I think I get why I dislike some parts of his design. Umarak surely has drawn inspiration from many differen't sources, too many I'd say. He's a zombie with a physique of an anthromorphic deer that has been fused with a burnt-down tree, wields a hunting bow and grew red spikes. Rather than focusing on one or two of these aspects they just threw them all in the same pile.
