Children are not idiots and a lot of people here seem to think otherwise. What Kalhiki said is as confusing, or maybe even less than the prologue on The Mask Of light, it's as simple as Ninjago and look, did people got it? For sure they did get it, sells like hot bread and people demanded it's return over the mess that was Chima. Lego tried a somewhat reboot with Bara Magna, and the reason it didn't work was that there was no actual backstory for it to begin with on the start of 2009. Bionicle is an example what happens if the story is too complicated and Hero Factory the one that didn't really even have a story. Needless to say, the other was train wreck from the start. Ninjago is the third example, the perfect balance between both and the way Bionicle is probably going to aim for. A reboot is the easy way to re-do your mistakes and takes the actual time to think of how you wont screw it up, what they do to case as little as the whole matoran universe? They could just make an earth like planet for the setting... oh wait. Spherus Magna is one, why they wouldn't just use it and continue it from there? By their desing I'd like to point out that Tahu is the only one whose mask really resembles anything to the old one. Gali has a rather unique looking mask, Pohatu's is Evo, Lewa's Stringer, Kopaka's has somewhat resembleance to the old one and Onua's is so blurry it's hard to tell.

They teased us so much with Great Beings in the end that I'm eager to find more. Are they actually godlike beings or are they just masters of manipulation and in truth, some of them (more than just Velika) against everything they created for some unknown reason.

Thought so. This probably means all other elements are left untouched as well. As for the bag (assuming these are bags), I can't see how you make jungle nor air out of the text under Lewa. There isn't anything looking like a word "jungle" on the "jungle defender" either. "Earth" and "stone" however do appear to be readabale from the "defenders". I hope the catalogues are in English when they leak, which is very unlikely but at least we wouldn't have to deal with these translating errors. Edit: Now you mentioned it Kalhiki, it looks like "Wind".

These two pieces are really helpful when creating gigantic limbs and such as they can hold a lot of height and keep it steady without moving. It's a shame I don't have these since at least I would use them in that way and as Lego does too. Skopio XV-1 holds the largest piece count on these which is an impressive 16 of both. If you don't get your hands on these I still feel that the limbs are the most important part when designing something big cause it's the one that keeps it steady and connected. You could also try to combine torsos and limbs to create something similiar, as torsos in most case are pretty useless in advanced mocing when building something normal size so you probably have those lying around. But yeah, post some pictures please.

Those things don't confirm reboot nor deny it. But I would prefer a continuation. From whatever point in the future. I just want it to be connected. To know that all that happened, but any of it is not necessary to know when getting in the story. Start of the fan story "Nova Orbis" http://nickinamerica.deviantart.com/art/Bionicle-Nova-Orbis-Introduction-419621319 is what would fit perfectly in the prologue of the new story if it would include a bit of Great Beings. As if it's a continuation possibly Great Beings are large part of the new story.

I do hope he has massive hands though. If this follows the original version he must have massive hands, otherwise It's not Onua to me. Looking buy the picture he's much larger on top than before but carries a club and I can't see anything that resembles "massive hands", looks more like little but articulated hands to me :(

Are you sure you belong to EB? It has it's own strict rules that people should follow, even though I don't like them that much either in some cases. Enough offtopic... or not. I saw a random post on BZP saying something that a BLU-RAY version of Web of Shadows was listed for an October release this year... if this weak rumour is true then why would they re-release all the movies? Especially if it is reboot. It wouldn't make sense. In general, Bionicle is still stuck deep in the media lego produced. It would be troubling moment for some kid to find Biosector01 and all the movies there was because it would just make them very confused, especially if they couldn't relate it to the new Bionicle.

If there are going to be more constraction sets my only bet is on Ninjago. I really don't believe HF will continue as a system based line as it could in the worst case cannibalize other themes and stuff. I wonder if there will be any closure to the Hero Factory though, propably not.

Because of those Gold Armor parts It's hard to believe this is a reboot, although some things point towards it. Also I don't think this is on Bota Magna, since everything is not jungle themed, rather in various parts of reformed parts of Spherus Magna. What points towards this especially is that those Defenders look more like Agori rather than Matoran, pillars behind Pohatu could wery be Glatorian Arena. There are structures Behind Toa, not just environmental like in Mata and Nuva, they are more like Winter Glatorian sets. Some people have pointed out that the yellow thing next to BIONICLE in those packages looks like Island of Mata Nui, for me it seems more like the same Mystery Mask since it even looks to be even in same angle like the one on top. The mask is portrayed in a jungle temple. So it could very well be that sets are just portrayed in environments suiting for them and the mask is actually in Bota Magna, but so was Kini-Nui in a jungle. Newertheless, If this is a continuation The main evil could be "Velika". I don't think they want to bring Teridax back.

Nearly all masks had a little dot on the opposite side of axle joint (expect Mistika). The New Hau doesn't seem to have it as didn't helmets later on. It's very much possible that these guys have it attached on top and use the Brain Attack head.

Talking about fakes, I found this floating around Brickshelf, what do you guys think? http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Toa777/Bionicle/Bionicle2015/2014-07-08_19.47.51.jpg I think it's legit since it has much similiarity with other "confirmed" leaks. Seeing as there's at least one humanoid titan set it makes me wonder if this really is a reboot since there was nothing like it during the first waves, if it is, then maybe Exo-Toa? Doesn't look Lord of Skullspider'ish to me. I still think a reboot would be a bad idea in a long run.
