Here's hoping they'd include different functions too like Basher.

Might as well skip the activity book if there's no decent poster included.

Well maybe he can't remember things quite right and somepart of the design could also be changed after the playtesting or he is talking complete bollocks. Anyways, we should address these in Bionicle 2016 topic... which shouldn't be made until we get some more info. Damn, the fact that there's only five sets for summer is hurting the discussion.

2slow though I'm still unsure of the trigger and the mechanism behind it.

I get what you mean and while I would like that the shells would look more filled in with bulkier bones, but it would allow for attaching the shell only from front and back, like in the old Bionicle sets. Because of the new system it's possible to attach the same shell from front, back and both sides.

The gun seems to be something described to appear in almost every 2016 Bionicle sets by the playtester (something like the launcher on ultraagents, but a new piece) but with a different projectile and builds up my belief towards he's sayings.. This stormtroopper looks great and much better than Cody, Jango and Luke. I'm still mad it has those foot pieces though.

The point is that Lego made this connection afterwards. It's not something like, say the pizzaplanet car on Pixar. So there's no clues to search for. I could say that Ekimu stolea wheel from Cinderella's cart to make a shield and that would make as much sense as the post on tumblr.

I always felt Lego misses this, not in a way they should be canon but I wouldn't mind having eastereggs for other themes, for example Knight's Kingdom appearing in an animation as a craving of an eagle shield.

I'd approach the idea from the story and the general idea that it's not the most common thing to paint pistons. So the ideal colors should be all metallic, at least I think that was the designers idea. So with gold and silver, ideal would be gunmetal and something that represents rust. Then again it comes in white too so it wouldn't be that surprising to have it as black.

I kinda just thought the weight problem and others afterwards and I agree that it would had been impractical. Your version looks great, could imagine the lower part be spammed on titans. Do you have some kind of idea of how to manage attaching hands there for characters such as SW that won't use gearbox? Rather eager to see how far your project goes. Anyways, articulated torso is what we really need the most, or at least torso that is built from two parts minus the gearbox. Tahu and Kopaka suffer from this the most, their torsos are far too short and a torso with such articulation and attachment of just one friction joint would make miracles to them.

Well at least they have been updated back to the database considering the "product not available" instead of "not found". http://shop.lego.com...l-warrior-70791

Idea for torso that allows articulation from two different points + attachment of gearbox. Needs three new different shellpieces though that two of can be used as armor/shell for limbs.

Onewa's color was just horrible to begin with and I'm just clad that it was discontinued. If the case are they return some of the colors for shells I hope it's more of brick yellow (Chi Vardy) instead.

Maybe they are aiming to catch the hype for the new movie? I mean, at least for me it's not quite there yet.

What about Bohrok but with different shooting mechanic? I stumbled upon these http://41.media.tumb...fs1co1_1280.png | http://36.media.tumblr.com/2aecfc1daa7214f1fe3f196b8f286500/tumblr_no6db0k0G71qlfs1co1_1280.png neat concepts by twotriickhoofbea2t, if only they'd able to go into a ball.

I'm just afraid that these kind of ideas might not make it because of the budget. Didn't the prize for Gen2 (290$) sets already surpass Breakout (223$), Brain attack (~213$ )and IFB (250$)? I mean, there's small sets (10 bucks) toa and villains (15-20) bucks and titans (~30 bucks) How do you stretch that to allow for more than one dinosaur with one puny Protector sized rider? I may sound a pessimist here but this would mean that the overall prize for the sets would be around 350$ for the entire year. Just a reminder that all the Bionicle sets from 2008 cost 420$. I really don't want it to come to that...

Thanks for mentioning. Of course street dates will be broken as they have always been broken. And we will began hearing about people having the sets on mid-end July. Not this month however and I wouldn't expect to get mine earlier than August.

Old Bionicle parts you'd want to see brought back for Gen 2?
GK733 replied to Takanuinuva's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Gah, should had read more. Been so little of news the conversation in here is derailing from one side to other all the time. Sure they can use smaller beast foot on larger figures if it keeps stable enough with some other pieces. -

*Couch* It's not a complete foot, just bones of it, if Slicer would reappear as his former self he would have 2.0 feet as well. Onua has toes, why wouldn't the rest of the toa? They are just covered by some metal. It's not a "only protector thing" -
Yet people despite Lewa so much.

Not sure if he has gearbox, but that could make it better. I'd also suggest trying to use the piston add-ons and Chima add-ons if possible. It's an Imposing figure but lacks certain polish and feel of uniqueness which are so easy to add. Might wanna look into changing the head to orange, it breaks the color scheme but captures attention like the toa's eyes due the color difference of their element so I don't know if it's intended but it's okay either way.

I remember it being described as quite agile, did you try mixels to give it knees? Or was it intentional not to? The look of the model matches what described amazingly well and looks solid and great.
-
Well at least they are "pandering" to the old audience by making the same mistakes :P

Guurahk's staff was used in the Stars Rahkshi (Zirahk) set .Not sure if the Hewkii's blade was even used in 2009 anymore .I really, really would like to see Kopaka's blade come back, quite possibly the most iconic weapon piece (used last on Stars Skrall).
