  1. Well I'm believing it. More concept art. The spooky lights seem to have connection with summer sets. Also, bats.
  2. Yeah these things are something I'd expect to see in the Bionicle activity book with mask http://www.amazon.co...e/dp/0545872553 rather than as guide for roleplay.
  3. Same source as the Russian Okoto alphabet. Give or take.
  4. That was pretty weak... There has been floating around some more funnier things, like Elves constratction. Can't link them because it's still a leak in Eurobricks policy and has prelimnary all over them. In case it actually is true. Ha.
  5. Might be too dark color... I don't know, It's something I should see with my own eyes. But just to note, the flame piece has trans-red red in it
  6. Being almost immortal and being different species is not the same thing.
  7. If we take the obvious and promotionals away I'd agree with Pate on Bruiser it has an okay parts count and the rockparts are very nice but the overall appearance is just a mess. I could also say a word or two about 3.0 Furno, Speeda Demon, the infamously bad Fire Lord which has been captured by all of it's disgusting-ues in the this by Vader.
  8. I'd support an idea that Okoto will be wrapped up in three years. Was it because of MouP or not. And I much guess that is/was their original plan before they saw the sales. At least the ones in charge of all the money. Then we could get introduced six baddies that have come to Okoto in search of ancient relics and whatever and stumble upon MoUP and take it with them, not knowing that it still has the essence of of all evil/Makuta inside of it. These" gen 2 piraka" will flee with the mask and stuff and toa have to go after them. But instead of Voya Nui, the island could have more asthetics that resemble Metru Nui but not be all that sci-fi.
  9. Could it be that there are actually three seasons this year? Not just one for the toa and one for skullguys.
  10. Had some fun making this. Real enough? larger: http://i.imgur.com/TQGYpCZ.png I really want more polybags...
  11. As awesome as Pohatu's boomerangs look they are horrible when it comes to play. They break apart too easily. Funny because there isn't much more for me to complain about if it wasn't for the low price count.
  12. Well yeah, we have to remember these all are at least half robots. It's not a very common thing to paint insides of a car so why should you paint the mechanical parts of a toa. If anything painting pistons and stuff might break their function. Also take a note that we have got transparent bones quite a lot and more are to come, I don't spot that many black bones on the skullguys either. And as it has been said, the bones need to be of a neutral color so they don't stand out too much.
  13. Metallic is a good color choice because it's pretty neutral and gives the feeling of actual armor. When overused it sure makes things horribly bland but it's in the sets for a reason. To balance out the colors. All white, blue, black and whatever characters are just really bland without any metallic colors in my opinion. Sure I would rather have more pieces with two colors (flame pieces, Strakk's axe, protector masks etc... but I guess the the new attachment and techinic pieces give enough variety to their weapons -minus of course the skull squad which suffers from this problem with all their silver only weaponry and stuff. On to the Titan discussion, yeah. The three toa really don't feel like titans but I sure hope so that we get some. As they are bringing those sized sets in Star Wars too. I really want to see all dark and edgy towering Makuta with a giant hammer and the MOUP, Maybe not as tall as Witch Doctor given the mask makers' broad shoulders but something close to it.
  14. We possibly already know that where the MOCr is but what about Ekimu? I really don't think he's on the forge. The temple made from large protector masks would be my guess.
  15. Well it is if they all turn out to be clone sets that are slimy turtles with a gun in their mouth. Giving some of them wings, tails, fins and stuff would make them cool. And be called, jungle beast, water beast, fire beast, etc...
  16. Well I hope those shooter things turn out to be fauna. I personally would love to get some birds and stuff but would kids be all over it?
  17. Yeah, that might be an issue. Though those were just early prototypes possibly mistaken as villains.
  18. Well as it seems the same guy drew these some time ago. http://i.imgur.com/7FH4eiH.png From the looks of it the walking shooters are more like Hydruka. Those leg shells are incredibly similiar to the ones on Star Wars. When did these rumours start to appear, before the reveal of SW constraction or later?
  19. I'd guess it's higlhy possible. given that if the things for 2016 are in playtesting they'd as ready as these: http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110109153811/lego/images/5/54/Prototype_early_Bitil_2.png
  20. Damn if this turns out to be true, rumours certainly have begun to appear earlier. This was found from the unholy depths of the Internet, you can probably guess where. "Some guy whose nephew was in a lego play test supposedly took him along and it turned out to be Bionicle. If he's to be believed, the bad guys have a new shiny-platinum metallic color, two new overlays (one which is sort of a chest-belt combo that goes over existing torso shells, one which is like a shoulder spike with a vent) and most importantly, a new shooter which works a little like the new LEGO spring-loaded missiles, only it fires some sort of slime/ghost spirit thing. There will be one good guy in the Winter wave (a Toa version of Ekimu) and the smaller sets will basically be the shooters with limbs." I want to believe this because it's a good explanation enough but I really don't think they are turning Ekimu into a toa. either way it seems G2 Takanuva is on it's way.
  21. There are not more than 4 "funmetal masks" because there are only five sets. I'm sure both story and set designer teams were thinking 7 sets in total. But the budget came chopped, possibly because of Star Wars constraction and the Bionicle theme being constraction in general. Remains to be seen if they someday tell a bit about what happened behind closed doors during that day. Or I'm wrong. Seriously, chopping the 2 characters out isn't very story, character or set friendly and only excuse to do so would be money and money alone.
  22. The largest problem I found with it was it might be too complicated for younger builders. At least the part when it's all wobbly and you have to hold it together with your hands so it doesn't break apart to attach the axle. doesn't help the gears are in wrong angle in the instructions I somehow managed to attach the rubberband wrong too. Last time I remember doing something as complicated and actually hard was with Axalara t9, even Nebula gave me less problems. Sure Witch doctor was irritating but not that hard to build at somepoints because you had to smash the axles trough multiple balljoints with hard pressure. I just smacked them against my table.
  23. Oh yeah, I almost forgot things like Gadunka, Kardas, Fenrakk, Niwak and so on. But why we wouldn't have ash bears, okoto cows, lava birds or whatever. Mostly name's that tell the kids what they are by their name alone. The skull army is the best example of this. Warrior hunts people down with his bow along with scorpio. Basher advances there to bash them dead, slicer dismembers them and grinder grinds their skulls into some fine skull pepper to go with the rest of the poor islanders.
  24. Well right now we don't have any names of species expect the toa. It wouldn't hurt the story and make the story convoluted if it was about fauna. You know like birds, bears, fish and stuff. The post on http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/17041-wildlife-of-okoto/ was an excellent example oft hat. No gibberish names. Really the problem with the species was rather within their naming, not with them being actual characters.
  25. A water based skullvillain would had been a nice add, but then again the setting is not quite the right for it. Of course they could had just done a lake in the ancient city where those beasts would live. An antromorphic skull squid or shark would had been the best.
