Now that we know the actual base of the construction of the figures they'll be not as hard to figure out as the toa, even easier if the rumors about the playtesting turn out to be true.

Well... this all kinds of interesting information but supposedly, there will be leaks and possibly the actual 2016-Bionicle sets on some Toy Fair before they even reveal the next Star Wars constraction sets. So I'ts rather a thing to speculate what new pieces from the Bionicle 2016-sets will the 2016 Star Wars constraction figures use :D

I'm on the same boat as them. That Grievious just has too many flaws, and most of them I could had forgiven if he had a cape. Not a 35 dollar set. Good that they like Obi, cause I damn too, it's miles better from any constraction figure save for some Bionicle and Hero Factory and is much better than Luke.

I don't even know how Luke stands in the some pricepoint as that Obi-Wan. WHICH IS GLORIOUS and makes Luke look even more like trash. Grievious doesn't look that great from the front and must horrible form the back and indeed misses the cape. Even for 35 bucks it's kind of a poor parts bag. The amount of visible balljoints is disgusting.

I'm surprised these are community made and not by some employees, but these have nothing to do with the ideas of the Bionicle design team. If we do get sets that have some similarities to these then these have inspired the designers to make them so, or are pure coincidence. I think vehicles are out of the question for a long while. We have yet to see any proper titans.

And yeah, I do want pistons not an atrocity lot of pistons, G1 definitely had those too much but g2 doesn't have them enough. Then again transition year or not it can be fixed only by a little effort which I wouldn't call "transition, but rather making two new molds.. What bothered me in gen1 however that most of the time you wasn't able to clip anything onto most of the pistons, the beast feet are awesome for this. Sadly the add-on follows the old too much on that. Now I don't want to repeat myself and I could get a better answer by looking into crystal ball, but based on the past, is the next LDD update when?

It's just one single solid piece and most of the times the ballsocket sticks out way too much. This plagued Dragonbolt, Rocka 4.0 etc. While it might do okay in MOCs, it's an awful piece for designers to deal with.

I'd say the system is perfect and doesn't need an overhaul, but it certainly needs to improve at some points. For instance the 2.0 feet piece has to go and be replaced with something that has an axle connection so it can be connected to ballsockets like 2003-2011. It could have a more piston-y look and allow to be used as back armor for example. The 2.0 foot does poor job of being anything else than a foot and is against the sole purpose of CCBS. But aside from this debate, any ideas when the next LDD patch is coming? I have a feeling it should come this month.

Asking for one new mold isn't that bad. I would had ditched boomerangs for one pistonic CCBS mold to be honest.

It wouldn't be so tiresome if these "existing parts" would had been product of Brain Attack and IfB, But no, these buggers are from the days of ordeal of fire. For people who have been missing most Hero Factory sets, like I did after Breakout this sure is not that big of a problem and the pieces can have that "fresh" feel. If anything that awful torso plate and feet need to go already, I'm becoming dead sick on those. And if rumors are to be believed we get a new one that actually has some sort of belt thing. And people's main complain that they don't always put right is that these lack the aesthetic of Bionicle and certainly look more like Hero Factory not one piston addon makes that huge of a difference. Here's hoping that next year will bring at least one actual piston bone and shell. Then they can recolor them all they want and I'm happy with that.

I'm more concerned with the lack of new shells. add ons don't count. And now Star Wars is getting two of them. I'd guess two bone-bones compliment that though. But the main problem rather being that they are hardly Bionicle. I'm not asking for loads and loads of piston shells but some would really be appreciated, along with some more bionicle themed bones. Of course they could still rely mostly on the Hero Factory produced parts but had some more specialized parts.

His art is the only good thing with IfB to be honest. We have seen that Okoto is a huge place so my guess is that the "island" is just another part of water region.

Odin promised there won't be any frost giants. Thanks, I primary try to make my MOCs look like actual sets and LDD is the fastest and best option for it, while I'd also had the parts in most cases to do it I don't mind playing around anymore that much with them, and It's unlikely I disassemble the new sets anytime soon.. This also gives me a better understanding in the sets design rather than just slapping torsos on top of one another. Sometimes I create parts that aren't yet available :D But I still imagine the characters themselves much more 1-3 movie like.

I guess we have enough evidence to trust this site now. Aside from fish and skullspiders bats are the only fauna we have seen yet.

Not to say the parts themselves were even less useful than the ones as mata legs and feet. The Gaardus combiner speaks for itself. We even got the absolutely worst combiner back in 2010!

8 bucks for those breaking things wasn't really worth it. They might make an okay-ish "decoration" on your selves but that's kinda it. Honestly the wave needed at least one titan to be more effective. Now it's just a lackluster in everything. I might get killed for this but I dare to say that even some Galidor's were better.
