2 loose figs (1 Resistance soldier and a Duros).....and the Encounter at Jakku set (30% off).
-
I don't care for the Freemakers and the ROTS set, but the Guavians and the Quadjumper sound good. I wonder though what they'll include in the Guavian set: 2 Guavians, Bala-Tik, Han & Chewbacca (5 figs sounds right for a € 80 set), a brick built Rathtar....and for the rest? a few hallways? Regarding the Quadjumper: I bet they'll pull an 'Ahsoka/Dengar' by including a great minifig most of us will want to have.

LEGO does it again like no-one else can (looking at you Lepin & co): a FANTASTIC minifig. I've said it before, I am not always happy with LEGO's choices, but they should give the people that have designed the RO sets/figs a raise....and please: let them design the Episode VIII sets as well!

LEPIN brings out Monster Fighters HAUNTED HOUSE (16007)

I should have added the word "They": "They never heard of copyright and patent I guess?" (and yes, thats a rhetorical question) -

A court has already ruled that the Lego minifigs are trademark protected......so, like I said, what Lepin does is illegal......so it IS as black and white as I make it. http://www.toynews-online.biz/news/read/lego-wins-minifigures-trademark-courtroom-battle/044741 Never heard of copyright and patent I guess? -

Lepin violates copyright. That's illegal in most countries. -

Even if that next 'best' thing is immoral and does illegal things? Those are aftermarket prices....NOT the original retail prices. (and I guess thats what he meant) To all Lepin fans: suppose you work as a self-employed designer...and you designs are copied, sold and you lose income. I bet you're all fine with that? -

Fantastic. Exactly my thoughts. Regarding the "If You can't afford, than You don't buy it.": I couldn't have said it better. I can't afford a Rolls Royce. Would I buy a fake one? Nah. -

Here's a comment from a Lepin fan: (the 'net is full of these kind of reactions.....it sums up the average Lepin fan) Sick. -

I feel bad for him. Lepin are just crooks, bums, thieves. I'm fed up with them and their fans. -
Nope, fits and closes perfectly.

Cloud City.....playset style.

just the last few years: 2008: Rogue Shadow 2009: Battle of Endor 2010: Slave I 2011: Milennium Falcon 2012: Jabba's Palace (the Skiff is a close 2nd!) 2013: Jabba's Sail Barge (sorry, but I love everything Jabba related) 2014: The Ghost 2015: Tydirium 2016: Krennic's Shuttle

O, I understand that, but I still think it's 'weird' they're available at the same time. In most other cases vehicles/ships get replaced with a newer version. Take the new A-Wing....or the Falcon. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only difference is the color? But like you said: it is great for army builders :)

Ok, here we go........ I wrote an article (in Dutch) about Lepin (it was published 2 days ago: https://www.starwarsawakens.nl/toyscollectibles/lepin-vs-lego-clone-wars/) I was curious, wanted to experience the whole thing myself, wanted to write an article about it and I can safely say: never, ever again. Call me an tree hugging idealist, but giving money to a company that steals is wrong. The article was posted in some groups/boards and then something occurred. Some people (Lepin fans) got pretty hostile. I was a Lego-lover who only wants to bash clone sets, I never really tried a Lepin set......and I also got some other 'not so friendly' messages. They claim Lepin is the same quality (yeah, Luke's hairpiece is great! And look at that translucent helmet.....o, wait...) When confronted with the question what they think about the fact Lepin steals IP's they go silent......or reply with the stupidest of all replies: "well, millions download movies etcetera....so...". Yeah, that completely justifies everything! I've said it before and I'll say it again: I have criticised Lego a lot (C&D mails, Insult on Hoth, No Bespin sets!!!) but d***, they invest in fantastic IP's, produce/design great sets and their products are of great quality. O, and I never got hostile reactions from LEGO fans as well... -
Two episodes (I fully agree with the rest btw. The color sap X-Wing is still a mystery to me. Why release 2 similar sets within +-9 months)
-
It isn't 100% confirmed, but I'd be surprised if he isn't. I really want that fig (as Moroff looks fantastic in the RO photos) but I don't need another Y-Wing. BIg dilemma (thank god for BL!)
-
Got the U-Wing and Krennics shuttle last week and finished building them yesterday. I often criticise Lego*, but **** they really hit a home run this time. Fantastic sets, awesome minifig selection. Both straight A+ sets! Very well done Lego! *(C&D mails, no Bespin sets, Insult on Hoth etc)

I cannot recall there was a reported by CM4Sci?

This. PLUS: if more people buy Lepin instead of Lego, Lego's profits will decline. Worst case scenario: they will stop with IPs or stop expanding by buying new IPs....or stop making new parts/molds. There's a lot Lego can improve and I've always criticised them for a lot of things.....but the quality they deliver is excellent. They invest, they are creative...instead of stealing ideas. -
U-Wing (15% off RRP) Krennic's shuttle (20% off RRP) And some figs: Bespin Guard (from the advent calendar) Darth Revan Inquisitor Malgus Agent Kallus
-
Thank you. Also: look at Hasbro's SW figs. EVERY figure (except some droids) requires a new mold.....and Hasbro is definately not a cheap brand. So, if they can release a bunch of new figs/molds....why can't Lego? There are many things I (will) believe, but I cannot believe the whole creation of a new mold costs 10.000 to 300.000 (10k: ok, but 300K???? For a plastic brick/head?)

If that is so.....then I wonder how it's possible that cheap Chinese clone brands produce them. Last year I ordered a set of 'Big Hero 6' figures. LEGO never made them, and since I loved the movie I grabbed a set: Top row: the left Baymax has a unique head and wings sculpt. Middle row: unique headsculpt, unique hairsculpt, unique helmet sculpt Bottom row: 2 unique helmet sculpts Grand total: 6 new sculpts. Total costs would be somewhere between $ 150.000 and 900.000 then. No offense, but I don't believe a Chinese clone brand would invest that for a figure set that sells for a couple of bucks. So, if they can make new molds for a low price......why can't Lego?
