100% agree. Thing is: many figs (a lot of the (Jabba's palace/Maz Kanata's castle/Cantina) aliens) would need a new mold and can only be used once. The fall 2015 TFA wave: sure, we got some new helmet molds, but not one new head mold. Winter 16 wave: only Maz and the Ugnaught. Summer 16: Unkar, Teedo. Rogue One: besides new helmets only Bistan. Why don't they go nuts and release a wave with 5-10 new head molds? Is it really that expensive? And WHY haven't they released a new Bespin Lando (or Leia...or Luke) in the last 10 years?

Bad news/good news for me: my local store didn't get the new sets yesterday....but will get them on tuesday....20% below RRP. Ordered the shuttle and U-Wing and said I want to decide about the tank and AT-ST on the spot. (will get them eventually though)

Fair enough as fall officially started last week.....other example: 'summer sets, like the Force Awakens sets in 2015' (they were released on september 4.....when it is still officially summer.

Why put them on the shelves then? What's the point? It only gets people frustrated (and boycotting those stores in the future). (I experienced this with DVDs many years ago; the first Star Wars DVD box in 2004 for instance)

Why? This doesn't make the figure uglier or something like that.....yes, it makes the figure less valuable on the aftermarket, but imho that's not important as we're all fans, not scalpers....right? People who missed out last time can now get it....even for free! Good for them! It's a great minifig!

In the mail we got they say that the list we posted (set names, numbers and minifigs) is confidential information. And yes, the info is all over the web....here, Brickset, etc. I have asked if they can explain why we had to delete the list...hopefully they'll reply.

Definately not attacking you but what's the difference? There are 2 normal sets, 4 micros and 3 constraction figs. The normal sets: the iconic ship has already been 'spoiled' on artwork that's all over the internet: http://www.starwarsn...ogue-One-01.jpg ; The location set has a movie set picture all over the web.....; The micros are ships which will be released as a system scale set later this month (those pix have been released by LEGO) except one (the iconic one); The constraction figs are characters who are in several trailers! Oh, and ALL minifigs are characters we've already seen... PS: I FULLY agree with the paranoia thing!

It's still on a couple of other sites and even on this forum! In the mail we got LEGO says they have been asked by Disney to request deletion of all the information. We did that as I don't want to bring the site in any trouble...but things like this don't make both companies more popular.

Bravo LEGO, bravo! Apparently it is illegal to post a list of the new 2017 sets.....you know, the stuff from the first post in this thread and the info CM4Sci (you rock btw) posts. (we had to take a page down on StarWarsAwakens...I wonder if EB has to remove all info as well)
