Exactly my thoughts. LEGO is a toy. A collectible for AFOLs. Stuff like this (and other toys) shouldn't be treated as good investments. Now, bring on a new USC Falcon so scalpers can't charge 2000+ anymore! :P

There is only one Rogue One set mentioned, while there will be two. Is the other one an exclusive? Also, I believe it was said that there would be two (or three?) Rebels sets. The 'Phantom 2.0' and a bigger one with a new Zeb minifig.....what happened with that one? (Also, Thrawn would be included in a set....that must be the bigger one with Zeb?) @Sir Von Lego: do you now anything about this?

TIE Striker is an easy pass and I will skip the AT-ST and Tank as well I think. (I'll Bricklink Chirrut and Baze later). The U-Wing looks good but the Shuttle is the standout of this wave for me (suprisingly, as it didn't look good in the first leaked pix). The minifigs of the Shuttle are also the best, with the U-Wing figs a close second (hope a Jyn hairpiece is also included). I will grab these OR the new Death Star (if that one turns out to be a masterpiece)

Many thanks guys! The full story: I have never bought a clone brand set before, but: my eldest kid (5 and a half) is a huge TMNT fan. Last year he discovered LEGO (thanks to me ;) ). Problem is that TMNT sets are retired. (Instead he got a ton of Ninjago stuff).Luckily I was able to score a bunch of retired TMNT sets for normal retail (the Turtle Lair, Shellraiser and a bunch of others) a few weeks ago. I've put a couple of them aside for the holiday season and want to grab a couple more (for 'ol Santa ;) but I don't want to pay a 'collectors price'. The cheap sets you guys posted are already in his collection but I think I will order the Shredder bicycle set. If that one is ok I will get the sub

I’ve only bought 3 used sets (Star Wars) over the years (I prefer new ones)....and on all occasions I picked them up myself so I could check if everything was there. (especially the minifigs).

Good to see there are more crazy people Here we go: -I used a bit of glue to repair a small crack in a Yoda minifig -I took my eldest kid (who was 4,5 at the time, he is now 5) to a LEGO fair. He didn't have any LEGO but he got hooked because of the event. Because of me he got a lot of NInjago stuff from Santa and for his B-day. I kinda made my parents get him a retired TMNT shellraiser for this Xmas (I know he will go nuts as he loves the Turtles). I even hunt down other TMNT sets and scored a load of TMNT minifigs for him. -I kinda freaked when he 'destroyed' a couple of Ninjago sets. -I made an agreement with him that he can 'destroy' every set except the really expensive/big ones. He was cool with that :D -I am glad my 'mission' succeeded and he loves LEGO (and is already building great things). What if he had liked Playmobil better? AAArrgggh! -I scored a bunch of retired Little Forest Friends for my little girl (2) when she was just 6 months :D

Hmmm. It says ROTJ ? What if.....Lando returns for season 3 of Rebels (there are rumors he will). Could be a Rebels set then.

Please not an A-Wing again. There's currently one with Vader's TIE. A-Wing, Skiff, Landspeeder....all stuff that has been released in the last 3 years.....and still no sign of a Cloud Car, Rebel transport or TIE Bomber.

If it is they can't have all the rooms from 10188 in it (unless they'd use way more bricks) I think. You know what's the best thing about this release? There are a lot of scalpers who ask megabucks for a 10188. I hope that because of this new version there will be less demand for 10188

Did the following ever happened to one of you? I ordered some Ninja Turtles minifigs....and got an email they aren't in stock. I was told I had to cancel the order to get a refund (so I did). Weird thing: the seller is still offering the set! I emailed other sellers who are offering the same set (it's one with Spider Byte, mutated O'Neill) and I got the same answer: not in stock. Why offer it then? (and accept payments they'll have to refund).

Trailer tonight? It was only shown to the folks in London. The American TV network that was going to show the 3 minute trailer must have mistaken the 3 minute BTS reel for a trailer. The trailer that was shown in London was less than 3 minutes long. I doubt it'll go online tonight.

Is it? I thought Rogue One was coming out late september/early october and the Death Star will be released late october/november? If what you're saying is true I stand corrected and yes, then the chances of a DS reveal is bigger than a RO reveal.
