  1. Is anyone planning on using the new sand green masonry bricks for a GG instead of changing colors? The price on Bricklink is reasonable. If they are, I'd love to see some pics! Also, if someone has a parts list of the CC in Excel, could they share it with me? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  2. Thanks guys!
  3. Just started a CC today. I know the dark red slopes and the blue arch are the pricier pieces from the set. Any other ones I should look out for?
  4. This is what I was looking for! I'll probably do this as well. Thanks, just wanted to see how it would look.
  5. Looks fantastic! Especially the interior. Have any pics of both houses together?
  6. How do you guys do your sidewalks in your layouts? I'm looking to start an actual layout with road plates. Do you guys expand the dark bley onto the road plate? Or use light bley for the road plates and dark bley for the modulars? Or use all light bley?
  7. Looks great!
  8. I would be fine if TLG released two 16-wide modulars (one in January and on in like July) instead of one 32-wide. Just to throw in some variety. Or a 32 in January and a 16 in July.
  9. Nice tie in. Definitely need to find a way to squeeze the DO into my budget this month then!
  10. Thanks! Here's the other MOC.
  11. Yeah, display window for some of the newer releases probably. Yeah, I couldn't figure out a better way to do the "k". This one will probably get an interior eventually. Thanks!
  12. Parisian Restaurant, Family House, and a Kashyyyk Troopers Battle Pack.
  13. Hey guys, I'd like to present my modular Book Store. It's a little smaller than the other modulars, but I like it. No interior yet, don't usually like them, but for a book store, I might have to put in some books. A picture with one of my other MOCs and the PS. (Sorry for the potato quality) With more of my modulars. This is a temporary setup, as my shelf had to be off my wall because of construction on my house. Thanks for looking!
  14. 1. Parisian Restaurant - Don't have this one yet, but I can already tell it will be my favorite. 2. Pet Shop - Can split in two, nice mix of colors, bay window 3. Palace Cinema - Unique colors, good color scheme 4. Fire Brigade - Brick technique for the second floor, lots of other neat and advanced techniques. 5. Green Grocer - Big, impressive set. Bay window is nice along with the color. 6. Grand Emporium - Kind of repetitive build, but impressive finished product. 7. Town Hall - Good color, but not much to make it stand out. 8. Market Street - Not bad, just not good enough to outshine the others. Don't have Cafe Corner and don't know if I'll ever get it. We will see where the Detective's Office falls into this.
  15. Looks great! Do you have any pics of your whole layout?
  16. Very nice build!
  17. Was looking back at old pics from the CC release and came upon this pic of the alternate model from the CC box. Seems like Jamie was already planning out the PS even back then. The Skis over the door especially.
  18. Looks great!
  19. That would be an interesting look.
  20. I think it's safe to say that someone can find a building somewhere in the world that has the color of almost any color TLG can come up with. I am fine with the color. Adds a little variety. How boring to have a street full of the same few dull colors.
  21. That's a pretty bold prediction. Do you a have a source deep inside TLG?
  22. Very nice pictures and a good read. Thanks for sharing.
  23. Doesn't look further back from the pictures. Aren't they all 8 studs back?
