Awesome. Seriously, though, thank you Sandy for all the work you've put in, and the patience you're constantly showing with everyone! You really might want to set the end sign-up date a little bit early(e.g., prior to Flipz's Au. 28), then, or else you'll either end up either waiting a very long time for quests to end, or even worse, hosting non-newbies*.*One of the primary reasons #131 had a rather sparse plot was because it was meant to be a simple newbie quest, with drops and weapons leveled to that purpose. Most of the problems arose from the fact that I had to completely overhaul everything, which got understandably messy. (Not that newbies don't deserve the same level of treatment that "established" players do, it was just honestly meant to be simple. Go there, kill the bad guys, everyone's heroes and makes some money! Yay! *party balloons* Unfortunately, #128 opened and Cutcobra stole my heroes , so I had to re-work and "re-cast".)

Thanks! With the length of Zepher quests, would it be theoretically possible then, for Lind to squeeze in a short quest before the Immortalis finale?
-
Also, any idea when we'll see more news about the Clash of Houses? Seconded!
-
No, more they supply the sort of gear Dain sells - I prefer not to type that particular word too often. Trawlers see the word, they don't see context... Yay! Question - are there any in-progress quest pitches? (He said hopefully...) The Hall's a bit sparse at the moment...

The only ones I'm aware of are Black Knight and Warden.

Ragnarök Now 3: Confirmation and Discussion
Lind Whisperer replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I have no idea why, but this is a seriously gorgeous picture! I think it reminds me of reading books by G. H. Henty - there'd always be that chapter where the few bedraggled survivors would be taking cover in a shelter that was falling apart. Very nice work, Pie! -
(In my mind) They were the House that was...well, a loosely formed Guild a la the Trade Federation, selling weapons and weaponry to whoever had the coin, keeping Heroica armed and (behind the scenes) selling the weapons of war that keep Olegia in conflicts.

"...You're not worth the effort I'm putting into this argument, so I'm just going to let you and your memory keep on remembering everything in whatever wonderful way makes you think you're such a perfect, unblemishable hero." Lind sighed. "It's a beacon. That guides. Mentally. You want more, go to the library, I'm taking a break from priesting..."
-
Lind shrugged. "Your call. Since I'm already up, can I fetch anything down there for any of you?" "Dodecube. And get off your high-horse, you were clamoring for the wings louder than I was."
-
"I don't like people making fun of people for their physical...formities, or their backgrounds. Every person has a thousand good and humorous things they can jibed about. Formities and backgrounds aren't one of them." "...Lady, these things weigh twice as much as the rest of my armor, the only thing I'm carrying, is the idea that these things are heavy. Not to mention they're terrible things to be wearing in a high wind, they're like sails..." "Lady, I didn't come in here and parade around in front of you. I came into the Hall, and chatted with a few acquaintances, new and old. I'm sorry if the gear unintentionally stirred up painful memories." Lind shoved his armor into his Bag of Holding. "There. Off. Better?"
-
"...You do realize these are dragon wings, right? They have nothing to do with fairies..."
-
For instance, in this case, you would do a search for "Animal Talk," since you're looking for artifacts that grant that trait.
-
Lind looked coldly at Jinnipher. "Quit making fun of the vampire."
-
They're rare, but they exist. Sylvania's Cowl grants Animal Talk. From your questions, I'd suggest you try scrolling through Hero Statistics, and look at the different pieces of gear everyone has. It's only five pages long, and it answers both of the questions you've asked.

...You want to know the worst part? Invasion was not a mistype. I honestly thought they were called the Guild of Invasion until a few days ago... I blame the prominence of the Nute Gunray torso for adding to the confusion...
-
EDIT. Never mind, I keep forgetting that people don't traditionally talk to each other from different floors...
-
Lind tilted his head to one side. "You sound like you've heard of that sort of thing before..." "That's a loaded question that implies that I do turn on people. What you are referring to is the fact that I keep promises that I make. I got hired to kill a dragon, I killed a dragon."

If Flipz can share the parts list and a picture, I can make and share a .lfx of it, from which instructions can be generated.
-
Lind looked disgustedly towards the Moone Elf. "You need friends like you need food - they're indispensable.Even from a purely selfish standpoint, you need friends. You need to know that there's someone who will loan you that extra five gold when you're broke, that'll let you borrow their sword when all you've got is a whip you're not qualified to use anymore." "No, this one breathed fog. That exploded. It must have been a pretty grand sight, really, but we were too busy being awesome to take in the view."
-
EDIT: Never mind, wrong Ziegfried in picture. I'd go Dark Pink. Any chance you might share the parts list when you're done?
-
"Not to be rude, but I was kind of wondering the same thing. I mean, I was literally living under a rock in the Forest, and I still heard plenty about dragons..." "Agreed. Heck, some of us are still trying to make friends."
-
"Big enough that it's hand easily wrapped around a Moone Elf. 30, 40 feet or so, give or take." "...I've noticed that, yes."
-
If you want to buy one from another player, do a search for that term in Statistics, and either PM them about it or ask their character when your character encounters them.Or wait for a piece like that to drop.

"With pleasure."Lind handed Karie the 120 gold, and received the Skull Shield. "Nice." He hefted the shield up and down in his hand a few times admiringly. "I wonder if it would be worth outlaying 60 gold and getting myself a pair of Swift Boots in place of my armor, since the shield has the same amount of SP as my Armor and previous shield combined - make a little money on the side..."
-
"I'm doing it. Everyone lagged behind on the front porch while I nearly got killed trying to save said member of the court, and then I saved King Faust from being killed."He turned towards the fairy. "Apologies, I think we may have gotten off on the wrong w-foot. Lind Whisperer, Black Knight."
