  1. New day! Good job, victors! It's been a long haul, but you guys have been awesome! Please, could the deadboard be shared publicly? I'm sure more people than I would love to find out what happened...
  2. I believe Sandy said(In PM to Goliath), that if the other players were fine with him transferring the Medal to his new character he could transfer that, at least. I've been talking with him via PM, and I think that part of the issue was with his first character, he didn't like the species*, and with the second, he didn't put enough thought into the class. I'm not saying he should be excused for that, character is a central part of this game...but I can understand where he's coming from, at least. *I'm not calling it a different race, it's a different species.
  3. I believe the vampire's called Edward Cullen, and the werewolf's called Jacob.
  4. I think one of the primary issues was that he wanted to transfer all of his gear from Mhinak to the new character, which does affect the other players a little bit, at least in terms of overall game balance.
  5. Twilight fangirls that think werecreatures are preferable to vampires.
  6. It's just a poll to see what House has the most supporters, while we wait with eager anticipation for the Clash of Houses. You just select which House you'd stand by, if you could only support one, and submit the vote.
  7. He might be able to loan the Anniversary Medal to someone in exchange for them loaning him their MoG. None taken - my original plan was for it to be a completely separate game*, just using the same system, but the other contributors were leaning towards it being a Heroica continuation**.*In my version, there would have been one or two hints that they existed in the same universe, since Olegia is a planet in canon, but that was it. **We didn't really have much of a plot besides "Heroica: Journey to the Stars" - we were more focused on how the system would be adapted than we were on what the story would be.
  8. He might do it with a MOG and focusing on quests with a high battle count. And, the space version of Heroica I proposed a while back looked like it was going to develop into a direct continuation of Heroica* - he might be able to just keep on playing.*Sandy politely suggested we work on keeping the current game, so the project is currently in hibernation.
  9. Letters of Recommendation are given out on quests. I just got one on #138. They give you a single rep booth with one of the primary seven houses - your choice. Not salable.Unsigned Letters of Marque are a hypothetical drop I've been proposing, that are the same thing, just salable, and only worth 1/2 a rep(to balance out the transferability effect)(You could only turn them in two at a time).
  10. #teamShadeaux_eats_all_other_teams_with_our_733t_dragons
  11. Because editing it would cause it to loose the votes it already has.
  12. Then do things that make him interesting. Break The Cutie. Die and Come Back Wrong. Anything.A character isn't in interesting because his background is interesting. He's interesting in what he does, how he behaves, and how he reacts. Changing his backstory won't do anything. Three words - Letters of Rep.* And we're about to have a whole Clash of Houses. Perfect chance to side with the Wolfgang.*Also, four words: Unsigned Letters of Marque
  13. Lind bit his lip. "That...and the 50 gold it'll take to un-embue it." He held up his hand. "I know it's in my favor, greatly, but my budget is already stretched pretty tight. I can maybe go as low as 25." "All I want is the Amethyst, and a bit of gold to cover - or partially cover - the costs of removing it. I have no interest in the Robes themselves."
  14. "Well, I guess I could come up with a price, but it'd probably be more in my favor than yours..." Lind eyed the Amethyst embedded in the Fenarian Robes."Whatever you say. But if you ever need a spare hand or ear, I'm available."
  15. "Deception..." Lind corrected absentmindedly, as he pulled it out of his pack. "I don't know - wasn't really planning on selling it. I can probably loan it to you, if nothing else. You sure you're going to be okay? You look like you've been in the middle of some sort of something or other..."
  16. Lind dipped his head respectfully, and took a first lick at the candy cane. "Delicious..." Still licking the candy cane, Lind followed Warlen over to a corner. "What's going on? You okay?"
  17. It does from his point of view. Not necessarily everyone else's...
  18. He wouldn't be the only sane man if it didn't.
  19. "Princess, the second the Arena's open again, I'm happy to spar. You can even have first sword-thrust."He sighed and turned to the queen. "My apologies for my...comrade Hero's and mine quibbling, it's a common thing around here. The fighting fighting isn't bad, but the verbal fight...well, suffice it to say, we go round, and...well, we're still going round. Could I supply you with a drink m'lady? Mead, mulled wine - I could see if Scheherazade might have a bottle of Flaming Gumball hidden away - anything."
  20. Let me see here, which person would you smack:A. Person that assaults and assails you rudely. B. Person that pulls Person A off of you. No, I'm pretty confident with my odds. In other news: Please feel free to keep casting votes, also please keep in mind that from here on out "Other" answers will be deleted.
  21. In all fairness, drunkenly asking a king to be paid upfront is technically civil...
  22. "It could just be me, but I don't remember "grappling someone's shoulder" being used as a definition of "conversation."You want to have a conversation with royalty in this Hall when I'm around, you keep it civil."
  23. "Succinctly put, friend Terrence, succinctly put." "...You do understand the presence of the adjective "mental," changes...no, of course you don't."
  24. Lind pulled Jinnipher off of the queen. "That is no way to behave around ro-...that is no way to talk in the presence of your mental elders!"He turned to the queen. "My apologies, m'lady. Princess Jenny...is somewhat headstrong."
