Lind nodded a greeting to the farmer, as he left the Hall for the Market. He slipped back into the Hall, rather less financially secure, but slightly better armed.
-
Lind quietly stepped over to Anwyl's smithy, and pointed to a halberd, placing the Amethyst and 100 gold on the counter. (131 - 100 = 31) A few minutes later, the Amethyst was mounted in the halberd. "Y' one of those that name their weapon?" Lind gently ran his finger up the blade. "...Star-Breaker." "...Forget I asked."

It shows. Have these ever been dropped before? They look like they could be pretty useful at the right moment.

Ooh, ooh, I want a part, I want a part!
-
How do you even exchange introductions in only nine days, let alone set up a single battle? Anyone planning on hosting a mid-level quest anytime soon? I'm starting to get Hall-claustrophobia... But if we don't wear the awesome gear, we don't get awesome drops!
-
The problem with that, is that then you can end up being under-armored compared to your companions. I went on #122 wearing next to nothing except borrowed gear*.*Although that wasn't helped by two Fields trips, admittedly...

Because that's about how long it will take Sandy to tell the rest of his story.
-
True - it really depends on the build. Having +4 to everything isn't necessarily a bad thing(not to mention that it'll hit at least +6 before the game ends), but it really depends on what you want your build to be. (Hoke's sort of the model Dragoon at the moment, and if he wants one for his Dragoon build, well, there are worse character builds to model oneself after.)
-
I forget the context, but he said mentioned it in response to a question I asked...
-
Yep!
-
From everything Sandy's said, I got the impression that your rep would have a large impact on who you could side with...
-
Probably the very first quest - I don't know for certain. The average short quest lasts about 2-3 months, depending on player participation.
-
Shields. Get a good shield, with a handy benefit or immunity/absorption, and heft it up at the Marketplace or via a Mystic Knight.
-
School's Out lasted for six months, but that was one of the longest.

No argument, just correcting out of OCD for details. I only know the names because the Internet's still covered in that stuff... In all seriousness, I'd support a King Guts faction. I wouldn't join, but I'd support it being present. Not really enough time to properly RP it being set up, though.Anyone have any idea when it's going to all start? My best guess is "sometime post-#130 and #135"(since that hosting two quests at the same time would likely be too much of a workload...)...
-
No, that's Robert Patterson Pattinson. Well, at the end of the day, we're still the only ones with DRAGONS    , so it all works out.
-
"Aw, I don't think he'd do that, he's a nice guy."
-
Lind looked over to the table. "Was his name Throlar? Ambassador to Eubric from Titaan?"
-
Lind tossed the Amethyst up in the air, and caught it expertly. "Nice doing business with y'all." He tucked it carefully away in his bag. "If anyone finds a lance or a halberd that makes enemies Fragile, I would pay dearly to have one." He nodded across the hall, to where the Queen was sitting drinking gin. He lowered his voice. "That, my friends, is an actual, bona fide, Queen. From some place called Heartland, between the Low Kingdoms and the Mistland Jungles. She just handed them out to half the heroes here."
-
"...I need to make some purchases there, but whatever works..." Lind leaned back against the counter, and waited for the Minstrel to return.
-
Lind handed Warlen the Cloak of Deception, and Karie the 60 gold. "To the Market, then?"He licked the candy cane again. "First quest there is to Heartland, I'm signing. This is good..."

Ragnarök Now 3: Confirmation and Discussion
Lind Whisperer replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Yeah, I saw it at the end after I'd posted. -
I don't think this is the best moment for a winking emoticon... Just sayin'...
-
OoC: Thought so. In that case, I'm all go on the sale if Warlen is.
-
"So...I sell the Cloak of Deception to Warlen for 60 gold, then I pay you the 60 gold for the Amethyst?Yeah, that'd work." Lind nodded. OoC: Did you mean Cloak or Robes there? Because Warlen's carrying the Fenarian Robes...
