You kind of have been a bit on the defensive... I'm not switching my vote at the moment* but, I would like to hear what you have to say in response. *I'm starting to raise an eyebrow, but I'm also trying to remind myself to not be carried along with the bandwagon. -
That is a very interesting argument as towards Captain Settle. At this point, though, I'm still not entirely convinced that Goliath's just a newbie... Just for reference, I'll keep checking back in for the rest of the day, but don't expect a great deal of posts from me unless I actually have something to add to the conversation.

You are just2awesome. I really hope they change the colors of the rings...they look unfortunately like donuts. New surfboard color also. Not sure what that'll be useful for, but always nice to have more parts in lime green. -

I voted for Goliath because he seemed to be over-eager in his proclamations against people he claimed to consider "suspicious". I am debating that choice, although I still say that he seemed over-eager. It might have just been a new player getting over-excited, or it might be worth noticing. The reason why I am considering a vote against Lord Duvors is because jluckhaupt posted a long list of his quotes, which evidenced a strong tendency towards fluff over actual points. Very true. Excellent points.

Same here. I might have said it a bit quieter myself, but the fact remains - this isn't Heroica, and it shouldn't be treated as such. Anything that happened over there, is Out Of Character. You can't let it affect any of your reasoning.

Two things: 1. Breathe. You need a tenth person voting for you to have a whole lynch mob, and I haven't decided on my final vote yet, nor has TheLazyChicken specifically placed a vote. 2. This is Heroica. Not Mafia. Keep posts in the forums meant specifically for them, or in PM. And 3. Sorry to Sandy for my having spent 1. to comment on another forum. It flowed a little better here than if I had quoted it in the Mafia thread. Even so, my apologies.

I was tempted to ask if anyone felt like tallying up the votes, but as they say "Why ask someone to do something, when you could do it yourself?". I'm not waiting for a bandwagon. I still think that Goliath is the better choice. Lord Duvors has moved up to my "second least necessary/second most suspicious" position. If Goliath does not have enough votes against him at the end of the day to remove him, I'm going to change to Lord Duvors. It may not sound exactly the nicest sort of thing to do, and it isn't, but it's how you play the game. Well, that's about as good as a defensive as could be offered. Good job, and I mean that sincerely. Sadly, it's not enough to change my feelings for voting, although I am taking a second look over them.

He makes some very good points...I'm not going to switch my vote just yet, because even if Goliath isn't scum, he's still hurting the town by his actions. But, if enough of a movement for Lord Duvors is worked up, I'm starting to raise an eye at the way he's playing, and will probably change my vote. The general description of "standing back in the shadows" matches up interestingly well with Duvor's playing style. Lord Duvors: I see you were on as of one minute ago. Any defense?

The rules that Dr. Def first posted...It's one thing to miss a single link in the rules, but to miss the whole section(Section 2) on voting, especially when it's the second rule... Ah well, it's School.

Because you said something that could only be interpreted two ways. Either as a desperate scum/townie throwing out a last minute "If you kill me you'll regret it," or an actual hint you're a Doctor. It's kind of the point of the game to learn. Next time, the scum might be town and the town scum. The point is, we're here to learn. We're also here to play, but the point is to learn.

Just out of curiosity, would there be any reason for a doctor to wait until he's about to be band-wagoned before he says that he's a doctor? It seems rather a hastily contrived escape attempt... Also, are healing modifiers normal in a basic Mafia School setting? And as just a general reminder to everyone, being a Doctor is not an all-powerful role. If he is a Doctor, he can only save a maximum of one person per night - and that's without any modifiers(all of which make that chance smaller.).

Uh...no, you could just be a scum. Which people have been saying. At no point did anyone say anything about you being a serial killer. You're the only one who's brought that idea up... I'm not trying to add more to your bandwagon here. I am, though, merely saying that Freudian slips are a fascinating subject...

The only way that you could fulfill all of those requirements is if you're a Doctor. And to be honest, I'm more inclined to view this as a last minute resort. You sound less "suspicious", more "trying to get out of a steadily growing lynch bandwagon." At what point did anyone say you were a serial killer?

I suppose, slightly. I'm also trying to remind everyone that anyone could be scum, and to not rely on any one person's suggestions. In regards as to my feelings towards your leanings, you have not given enough data for me to make a definitive case. You seem townish, but you could be quietly standing in the sidelines commenting. Of course, I could be doing the same myself, just slightly more vocally. Day 1 paranoia. It's not a good game of Mafia without a helping serving of it. I would like to point out here that although he did give a reason for his distrust for me, his basis for this reason was non-existent. He claimed I had made a post I didn't, and multiple people including myself called him on it. ^healthy serving, not a helping serving. We really need a way to edit out spelling/typing mistakes...

I'm not arguing that the bandwagon against Goliath isn't the strongest, but it's the best we have. At absolute worst, we get rid of a single person who is receiving too much focus if he is a townie. True points. On a side note, it would be rather interesting if both you and/or Jamesn were scum, verbally agreeing that scum wouldn't work together because "that would be too obvious", while in fact doing that exact thing. Not saying you are, just saying it would be interesting.

That's why I said "I hope". I knew about the combing, just not where to look for the edit marking. Question: Is it possible in a game for there to be several scum on day 1 who still haven't figured out who the other scum are?
