Probably not, unless you can RP a good reason for it. I'm hoping that a very good RP reason might work...I'm thinking of sending my second character a little Grogsmas gift(my second character is related to Lind, so it's not just some random ZMail being sent off.).

Just for reference, you're sounding more and more like a scum and less like a townie. Calm down. Right at the moment, I can't figure out if you or Mencot seem more like scum, you've both been pushing extremely hard to get bandwagons rolling. Okay, slightly un-hinged speculation time. What if Mencot and Piratedave84 are working together to come off as enemies, while planning to gently shove the bandwagon under someone else at the last minute?

Heroica RPG- Quest #103: Alfendi Lupine Strikes Again!
Lind Whisperer replied to Kintobor's topic in The Heroica Archive
Lind takes the cloak silently, looking at the corpse of the fallen lycanthrope. He gently reached out, and closed the dead wolf's eyes. "A great one has passed. He had passed his perihelion long before we met him, but he at least deserves a moment of remembrance for the glory he once embodied." In his heart, Lind could feel that a milestone of his life had been passed. Was it on the road to good? Or was it on the road to evil? Only the future could bear out the answer. Lind returns all borrowed items.- 500 replies

I'm still not sure who to look at. I'm probably going to vote for Captain Settle, since he still seems to be avoiding responding to our suspicions, even though we keep mentioning them, but I'm also looking at The Lazy Chicken, simply because he seems to mostly jump on bandwagons at the last moment, and because he rarely posts more than fluff.

File finished and sent off. I would have gone with a fancy livery barn like I was originally planning, but my schedule has gotten extremely cramped, so I went with a more generic building.
-
My sincerest apologies, I'll stop.

I'm double checking because one of the items on our "shopping list" is, of course, a Decamonizer for each member of the party, and if we were able to buy them in between battles, it would give us that many more chances at acquiring cards.
-
Quick FoG question - could a team enter, win enough GP to buy something, buy it, and then keep on playing? I get that rule 3 indicates that you can only buy when you leave, but I wanted to check.

That is a good point, but in the original, Mata Nui was treated as more of a god-figure. He might have existed, or he might not have. In this one, we know from the beginning that they existed(we see them lying dead(?) in a crater), and it loses a lot of any potential mystery feeling it might otherwise have.

The Star Trek reboot was actually a restart. Through a never-really-explained-in-enough-detail-to-really-make-sense-and-we're-talking-Star-Trek-sense-not-normal-sense plot hole "twist", an evil space alien completely restarts the timeline. Or something. Also, giant black holes are totally nothing to be worried about.

It's a bit of a stretch, but she's killed by what's effectively a giant joy buzzer. And who exactly is known for his joy buzzers? Of course, it could just be that he was busy and didn't have time to make unique figs. Which, seeing as how he specifically has mentioned having not enough time for anything fancy, might very well be the case.
-
And, after having been busy elsewhere, I finally find out that it's a reboot. My reaction and thoughts? I'm going to be saving a lot of money this year. It's not that it's a bad plot, it's that it's a very one-wave plot. The original Bionicle story was a deep mystery, that could support it over all the years, even for a final pair of waves after it had been revealed. This is very much a one-wave plot. It's a good story, but it's no more Bionicle than Hero Factory was. Sure, they both have masks, and robots(?) named Toa, but Bionicle had an aura to it, a background that interacted with the characters and was as much a part of the story as they were, whereas this is rather flat, to be honest. I know that's going to come off as Gen1ing, but the fact is, it's true. Here are the plots: Bionicle: There were once six Toa, who washed up on a mysterious island in mysterious canisters. It was their duty to protect the island's inhabitants from the dark one known as the Makuta, until such a time as the Great Spirit would rise again... 2015 Bionicle: There were two brothers who made masks. One was better liked, and because he was jealous, the other broke their promises, and made an evil mask. They killed each other. Now, it's up to you to go out, and collect all of their masks from the toy shelves of your nearest department store! It's not that it's a bad story, it's that it's a story that's been told over and over again. It has some originality, and by itself, it'd be an okay story. But Bionicle demands a better story than that. This was the franchise that came up with a giant robot having capsules of medicine healing him that contained smaller robots. That's not just something you make up on the spot, that's a brilliant idea that deserved a brilliant telling. Which it got. 2015 is not a bad story, but it isn't really comparable to the old one on any level.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Lind Whisperer replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Excellent question. And as I look back, it was actually a staffer at the store that gave me the bad information. I originally called Customer Service, and they re-routed me through to the correct place, to be told the incorrect information. It's been a while, and I was confused as to who I'd ended up speaking to. So, I suppose that was not the best example of service, but for a more universal example, check the slurry of emails that have been sent back and forth between LEGO and various LU fans. All of them say something entirely different. Granted, they are related to the legal problems of making a LU remake, not to production runs, but the point remains - there is not the greatest chain of communication between Customer Service and LEGO. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Lind Whisperer replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I don't mean to be disrespectful, but LEGO Customer Service, although friendly, does not have the greatest history of accuracy when it comes to anything besides placing orders. An example: In one particularly annoying case, someone told me that the LEGO Universe Rocket store build was cancelled(the nearest LEGO Store was far enough away that I couldn't just drive there and find out.). It wasn't cancelled at all, the person had no idea what he was talking about. -
LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
Lind Whisperer replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Not according to Bricklink. Dark tan is the closest they have at the moment. I really hope they get around to releasing them in red...I really need those for a project. -
I don't know about Stickfig, but my reasons were quite clear and I shared them at the time: I read the rule about how players cannot target the same player twice in a row, and I confused that with voting. I was originally going to vote for Captain Settle based on my personal opinion, but I thought that if I did that, I couldn't vote for him the next time(e.g., "today"). Jamesn replied back, rather irate, and pointed out the fact that I had been confused on the rules. I would have changed it back, except that Jamesn expressed enough anger that I began to doubt whether he was town or not - at the very least, he wasn't being a very supportive townie. If I was the switch vote, his anger would make sense, except at that point it had already swung past the ten-count, with next to no apparent likelihood of anyone changing their vote. I suppose, if I had been voting solely on non-emotions, I might have still changed back to Captain Settle, but it's very hard to completely eradicate emotions, especially when someone is yelling at you.

Looking for Monster Fighter Sets
Lind Whisperer replied to UsernameMDM's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
What are the non-listed Power Miners sets? -
Not sure where you got this. Her thoughts were that he wasn't likely scum, but he wasn't helping town, so he was as good a lynch as anyone. She was not "on good terms" with me solely because I didn't think Jamesn was scum enough to vote for him*. I wasn't helping the bandwagon roll along, so she suggested Jamesn and I were "In cahoots". *After a brief rules misunderstanding, which Jamesn was angry at me for misunderstanding, I finally changed my vote and didn't change it back after I found I could.
