Well, the Regret is dead.Maybe he reached the End of his game? Or possibly, what if never having an epilogue was his endgame all along...

If you want her to be a fire-elemental, what if you made the rest of Torc's body a mixture of brown and trans orange/red? You could have a volcano theme going, like it was lava glowing through cracks in the ground...

Unless Sandy doesn't like it as an artifact, I'll keep that idea in mind - I have a quest further on down the line that I need more unique artifacts for.On a different note, I'm liking the looks of #132.

I'm planning on using Blender to digitally shrink the size of my dragon, so that I can have a high level of detail without compromising on build. If and when Lind ever flies him, I imagine that the bricks will probably return to a little closer to real-life size, but that's a bridge to cross some other day. Speaking of which, has there been any quests yet where characters have flown their dragon?

Heroica RPG- Quest #122: Invasion of the Sheep Snatchers
Lind Whisperer replied to Kintobor's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Nyet to that, if they beam us up they'll be doing us a favor. Think of the loot, the equipment, all up there, just waiting for us..." "Sorry, Mystic, but I have this thing about uninvited guests." The Munchkin thrashed the whip once, his eyes gleaming - clearly the Mead he had consumed was beginning to take effect. -
Heroica RPG- Quest #122: Invasion of the Sheep Snatchers

The Black Knight chuckled, mixed a Mead with a Potion, and swigged them both down. He casually tossed the bottle over his shoulder in a direction he knew that no one was standing, and listened to it shatter on a rock. "So, since you were clearly joking, as no one could possibly take that as a threat, will the payment be in hand-cannons or in supplies? Because if it's the former, then we'll be needing a lot more of them - difficulty to liquidate, don't you know." "Oh, I've got everything under control, believe me. Except for you, but it's very hard to keep a toddler throwing a temper tantrum under control." The Black Knight carefully moved so that he was standing directly in front of the Beserker, so that anything that was aimed or fired at her would have to take him out first. He also gently nudged a Phoenix Essence into Sorsha's hand. "If you don't end up using that, I'll be needing that back." He muttered. "We heard." "I don't see any of us suggesting we do that..." "Eh, just a flesh wound." -
And after a whole quest of trying to be Heroica's resident Agent Coulson, I threw in the towel. Lind has just chosen personal gain over protecting his planet. Never mind. Never mind again...

Heroica RPG- Quest #122: Invasion of the Sheep Snatchers
Lind Whisperer replied to Kintobor's topic in The Heroica Archive
OoC: In the immortal words of every meta-gamer ever, "It was worth a try.". "I'd be glad to, just as soon as you get your filthy beams away from our property." "I've got a few ideas. None of which are exactly complimentary. Or frightening." "Yep, I see a great empire that's stealing sheep. Really impressive career move, there." "Aw, whos a cutesie wittle automaton? You is! You is!" "Eh...No. But, I'll do you one better." The Black Knight stepped away, and spread his arms out. "You see, this syst- this, uh, world, well...It doesn't quite operate off of the rules you're used to. Back where you're from, you shoot hand-cannons at each other for a while, and the winner is the last one standing. It's different, here. Here, we have these people called Heroes - people like us. Granted, we're more properly mercs at our best, and I've yet to see anyone do anything heroic - but the name's not the point. We're in a magic time continuum here, and all of us are covered in spells that mean we can't physically die tonight, no matter how strong you are. Y'all, on the other hand...well...suffice to say, I wouldn't plan on making any big investments any time soon. Y'all are going down. Or at least you're supposed to. That's the way we play around here. But, I've had a good night tonight - made some jokes, punched some stuff, got the old endorphins flowing, as it were - and I'm in a good mood. Here's my deal. And I'm making it cheerfully, but intimidatingly. You beam down a bunch of hand-cannons, supplies, what-have-you - and we let you go back on board your ship alive. Heck, if everyone else is for it, I'll even throw in the automaton. Keep in mind, if you don't, you're literally signing your own death warrant. (Just without the pen and paper. Or the signature.) I wouldn't do this for just any alie-magic being, that is, mind you, but the night is old, and the stars are shining, and I'm feeling generous.(And possibly greedy.)" -
He couldn't wear it even if you did sell it - it's "Suitable for Women Only".

I get that. I'm suggesting that we add those to the official Rules.

That was actually Heckz's personal thoughts - Vindsval couldn't have heard them unless he's telepathic. I can see how that would be confusing, though, since almost everyone here has a different style of posting, and some people do use italicized text for speaking. Does anyone think we should formally adopt a standard style for RP posting? I personally prefer Georgia font, with speaking in blue - although now that I think about it, the blue is a bit unnecessary.

If it's been shown as a card already or not. We haven't seen the Chameleon be seen on one yet, so it's doubtful it is one - although I believe there's a small chance it might be one of the very top "unrevealed" cards. Don't quote me on that, though.

The thing is, Timmy and Bobby are going to play the way they want to play whether there is a book or not. A book like this would be a book aimed towards AFOLs, for the sole purpose of settling arguments like "Should Black Knights and Dragon Masters be grouped together," etc. You are still free to have your own opinion, and to use your sets to come up with your own stories, but there is a sizeable portion of the FOL fandom who would like to have a book that settles these arguments. Again, you're not being told how to think or how to play. This is for people who want an official canon to settle arguments against. Again, a sizable portion of the fans don't like the ambiguity, and they would prefer an official ruling on these debates. This is the same problem as with The LEGO Movie, when it criticized people who like to glue their displays. People like to play in different ways, and all of those ways are "correct". You like to make up your own stories for your characters, I like to consult a canon and build from there. Both methods are correct. Your freedom to make up your own stories would only be limited by a canon if you let it be limited. This are the LEGO Universes, after all - even in the murky realm of existing canon, there are countless realities, canons, universes, and timelines. If anything, having an official canon would expand the possibilities that imagination could build upon, not diminish them!

The Demon Germ gave him a free venom and a Passion-fruit Vine Whip with those stats. I think the turning of it into the "Whip Facade" is part of Nalguz's RP. Just for personal clarification, is there any reason why it's named after the front of a building?

I have to disagree with you on that one - price-wise, it's definitely a lovely buy, but for only 20 gold more, you can have full immunity from Blinded - and that's not taking into account all the other artifacts that offer Blinded immunity in addition to other perks, and that leave the headslot free for more useful gear. For a newbie, it's a good buy, but not for a long-term build, and it's the long-term builds that really determine which items are best or not.

That phrasing...was perfect. Seriously, #125 up till now has been a fairly standard "heroesnark*" style quest, but it's just become incredibly powerful, emotion-wise, even to someone who hasn't read the Bluto arcs. *I hereby coin this word.

I think what it all boils down to, is that LEGO just needs to hire someone to sit down and write a couple of books that officially, once and for all, say who's what, when, and where for all themes. I, of course, suggest myself as the best possible candidate for the job.

Thanks.

Who are the other two players with them?

Brethren of the Brick Seas?
Lind Whisperer replied to Admiral Croissant's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I seriously doubt we'd see Chima figures in this. I get that you're using it for exaggeration, but even though they are fantastical, Davy Jones and his crew are still pirate themed. Chima - not so much. Seconded. -
From Almaak to Zotax: all the planets in the LEGO galaxies...
Lind Whisperer replied to TalonCard's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Amen to that! I wonder if sometime, if any of the obscure canon lovers here would like to bond together, and write/animate a short series of brick-films covering as many of the existing planets as possible? Something like "The Master Builder's Instructions to the Interstellar Array*"? *You try coming up with a LEGO-themed Hitchhiker's reference. Not as easy as it sounds... -
Is that from either the animated Hobbit or the animated Lord of the Rings trilogy?

Classic Space is a very interesting case. There are two main theories that can be derived as to the setting: It's set in the future of LEGO City, as hinted by the similarities in the logos of the recent City Space wave. A printed wall piece from one of the early '70s bases reads 2076 - possibly the year the set is supposed to be set in. The theme has no relation to LEGO Earth, and the sets are in fact the navies of the planet Zonia, as suggested by the Jim Spaceborn comics. Personally, I take a third option that I believe melds the two ideas reasonably well. The first few waves of Classic Space, the iconic blue-bodied, grey-winged, and yellow cockpitted ships, are LEGO Earth ships, and their location on the greater timeline is presumably set in, or around, 2076. The later waves, when the color scheme shifted mainly to white bodies and blue cockpits, are Zonian ships, and they hail from Zonia.
