  1. "They told me that long ago, others like us helped drive the Fenarians underground. Ironic, ain't it. We can't undo that damage, it that were true. Do you consider it fair that the other Fenarians destroy the surface because they lost it? They should be proud to live underground. There's much to earn from conquering the mining industry. Turning Spesialia into a desolate wasteland is not what we should be doing. The guardians mainly care for this forest, their home, and I will help them reclaim it, even if it means I do it myself. I signed up to be a hero, to help the unfortunate, not to aid a criminal. Bain helped the weresnakes take the Brown Nekrastone out of greed. The Brown Nekrastone is what makes this forest live. You will understand the rightful path if you speak with the guardians. They want your help to save the forest. Like I said, they do not like Shadir Oswain either, but he is one of many Star Elves. It's hard to break old rivalries but think of the forest!"
  2. "You won't be saving anyone. If the forest dies here, we will be the all be responsible for killing everyone. Don't you see? If we kill the forest, the animals die, then the Star Elves, and then the Fenarians. Life can hardly thrive in an arid desert. You're blind. Bain wants to disrupt that balance and you all are under the impression that it's a good thing, from a fugitive. If you truly care, you will lay down your arms and stop fighting. Bain is a small sacrifice for the greater good. She helped steal the Brown Nekrastone for what? Fortune? We must get that stone and only give it to the guardians, not the elves or the Fenarians. The Blue Nekrastone must be kept safe and presented to the guardians, no one else." Mhinak sighs "Do you understand what I'm getting at? We can't help Bain, at least not for long. For now, stop fighting. We must head for that stone. Inki and I will safely guide you all. Let the guardians decide Bain's fate for her crimes against this forest. I'm sure they'll expunge any crimes you guys have committed here when we retrieve the stone. Please, just trust me on this."
  3. "That may be, guys, but the guardians know about the Star Elf traitor, Shadir Oswain. The guardians just want the Brown Nekrastone to restore this forest. She's a liability that helped the weresnakes steal the Nekrastone in the first place. Long before us, other heroes drove the Fenarians underground. The only way she'll be tolerated is if she's our prisoner, not our ally. What makes you think that she'll hand over the stone? The stone rightfully belongs to the guardians and the Star Elves. Not all of the elves are bad. I also told them we are returning the Blue Nekrastone too and it does have effect on water. These stones possess elemental powers that others want control over. That's why the Guardians need them." Mhinak turns to Inki "Inki, clearly my friends are mad and won't stop fighting. What will happen if they don't stop. I need to explain to them that the Fenarian is a liability. Hopefully the Dryads stop, I do not wish for them to die. Do you have some advice?"
  4. Mhinak calls out to the Dryads and the party "Everyone stop! I've been sent by the Guardians to recover the Brown Nekrastone. This is the insignia they gave me. Stop fighting and we need to work together, for the same cause." Mhinak then talks to the party only "I will explain everything when the fighting stops. Leave the Fenarian, she may not be of use. If she tells us where the stone is, she may be dealt with lightly."
  5. "Thank you, Maiora. I will wear this with honor and bring back the Brown Nekrastone. I'll also see that the captured Fenarian will be returned to you all and dealt with accordingly to your desires." Mhinak then returns to the party
  6. Mhinak takes a knee "I would be much honored, Zeulord. Perhaps I could bring Inki and Marx along? They know the forest better than I do. Once we rondevous with my friends, Elnath can show show you all the Blue Nekrastone. I also recommend that you all speak with the rest of my party for they believe the Fenarian woman is an ally."
  7. "I am very sorry, Marx, Zeulord, and Maiora, I am very sorry. You have me misunderstood, I am no pirate and neither are my friends. We came here to return some sort of artifact that Elnath spoke of and..." Mhinak gulps. "...A Blue Nekrastone. We do not seek the power of those stones. We came all the way from Heroica to return it. We were attacked by some Merfolk pirates who took our friend Toren. I would most humbled to serve the three of you. My friends are nice people with good intentions but I wasn't able to get through to them. They do no believe you all are trustworthy. After learning from Inki about this forest, I decided to help. I do not ask for much other than you are all not using me and to find Toren because he possesses the same skill as I to communicate with nature."
  8. Typically I like to share my thoughts on the end but I am really having blast on Quest #136! I really like the interactions between me and Inki as well as the NPC's. I feel like I have so much responsibility for the communication of the group. The pictures are really amazing too and in the one with the Treant, I really like how you depicted Mhinak with the dark green armor because that's actually what I planned for him to wear when he get's his make-over.
  9. Mhinak looks up at the Treant and responds and takes a knee. "I wish to help you recover the Brown Nekrastone that will help restore this forest. Me and my friends originally came here to Spesialia to return a lost item to someone. I do not mean any hear and would like to help you all. I have never been here but I have an understanding that the Brown Nekrastone was stolen. The captured Fenarian, Bain, has revealed that she knows where it can be found. I do not know if I could believe her. Both Inki and the Fenarian have spoken about some Were-Snakes stealing the Nekrastone. Bain could be of use. When we do find the Brown Nekrastone, it will be my duty to bring it back here."
  10. "If we are to take the Brown Nekrastone away from Spesialia, the forest would just wither away. Sure, the conflict may stop between the Fenarians and the Star Elves but what about the forest? It's up to what you guys want to do, I just don't want to see this forest destroyed because we took the stone and cause it to die and giving Heroica a bad name." Mhinak sighs.
  11. OoC: I'd like to give you guys a heads-up that I won't have much time to post until next Saturday but if I do have time, I'll try my best to post something from my phone. And Enceladus, it's Mhinak, not Mihank, but Mhinak. "My apologies, Na'im. You have my sympathies. My kin, as dispersed as they are, have not have such luxuries as most either. Perhaps I could shed some light upon it when there is time. Anyways, no matter what choice we make, it seems like we will be targets to someone. For those who haven't decided, you should make a decision soon. I would still like to speak with the Treemaster and the Guardians. If they do not wish to come to conclusion that is beneficial to us all, then I say we get Bain down and run for the caves and make it underground. I'm getting bored here... and hungry."
  12. "The Brown Nekrastone rightfully belongs to the forest, not the Fenerians or Star Elves. Perhaps we can convince the Treemaster that if the Star Elves keep the stone, they are threatening their life. It'll be hard but that seems to be the reality of this. Hopefully they understand."
  13. "I have time, with left expectancy of about 1,000 years. I'd like to see what the Guardians have to say. They have to understand we are also to help them recover the Brown Nekrastone. We must also return that seal, which belongs to the Star Elves! I can understand your hesitation but don't let a old hatred keep you astray from helping your native land. Just try to be open-minded, alright?" Mhinak listens to the ocean crashing against the shore. "Inki, by any chance are there any Merfolk in these parts that could breath underwater for long periods of time who could help look for our lost friend? His name is Toren and he was abducted by some Mermaids when our ship was attacked by a band of other Merfolk. He could also help us out on saving this forest. I'm not sure about everyone else but I would like to meet the Guardians and the Treemaster. Perhaps you could take me to meet with them?"
  14. I'm really liking the "remastered" characters, Sandy. That got me thinking about doing the same with Mhinak in the future. First it starts with the eye, he said, then an arm, and then the face piece.
  15. Mhinak paces back and fourth, thinking. "I don't know lady, I really want to help you but we know nothing about you! Just because you offer to 'share' your goods with us doesn't make you trustworthy. And if we do get you down, you do realize the Dryads and possibly the guardians will in fact engage us and possibly Star Elves?" Mhinak thinks of something. "Inki, look, you and I both know the forest needs the Brown Nekrastone. The Fenarian, Bain, knows where it is. Perhaps we can work something out? I'm thinking that we let her down, constrict her so she can only walk with webs or vines, and she leads us to that stone. If she's lying, then let the Guardians deal with her. Either way, we're the winners in that situation. I know you don't want her to be released but it's a sacrifice that may need to be taken." Mhinak then turns to the party. "This is a tough decision, guys, and we should should be logical about this. If Inki, the Dryads, and the Guardians are open to that bargain I proposed, that's what I think we should do. Before we make any final decisions though, I would like to speak with these Guardians. I would like to hear from them. Maybe they have more useful information than Bain."
  16. Mhinak looks at Na'im as if disappointed. "Believe what you want but I will not be help responsible for upsetting the forest, which your kin has been doing. Perhaps we were destined to help the forest while on our journey here. You can show that not all Fenarians are bad. You and Germ can't communicate with nature like I can so you'll have to trust me. I'm the one making sure we don't end up as snacks. Our safety is my concern. Now I'm with Miderun, let's quit lollygagging and find that stone." He then directs his attention towards Inki. "Inki, care to lead the way?"
  17. Mhinak sighs. "I'm suggesting that we should avoid every opportunity that could cause friction between us and this forest. I'd prefer not to be hunted down by everything here. Just watch what you do and be respectful. Inki and the forest may take your actions in a disrespectful way."
  18. Mhinak watches how Na'im and Germ react to Inki with annoyance. "Na'im, I'm sure you'd do the same. Inki and the other inhabitants of this forest see that woman up there as a threat. They're only taking precautions. They have no idea who she is or what she is capable of. Perhaps you can speak to her for us and find out who she is and what she's doing here?" Mhinak then turns towards Germ and swats Germ's hand off Inki. "Do not touch him, that'll surely anger him and anger the rest off the forest inhabitants. I have warned you and the rest of the party to be respectful, which you have seemed to have forgotten or don't care. If you anger the forest and other creatures come out to attack us, which I want no part of. I will not have your back if you put us all in danger." Mhinak translates for Kiray to Inki. "Kiray apologizes for digging and she didn't intend any disrespect, Inki."
  19. "Everyone, stop digging! Don't do anything that affects the area, you'll upset it and I'd rather not become fertilizer today." "Inki, Miderun and Kiray have not been here and most certainly not with a Fenarian woman. Perhaps if we can get he down but somehow tie her up, we can speak with her to find out who her associates are. That'll give us a clue as to who she really is along with those people. And most importantly, where the Nekrastone is. And are the guardians those tall tree people? And who are they fighting? I can't make it out but they look like Star Elves with their shiny armor." Mhinak says. "Wait a second Inki, do you think the Star Elves may have taken the Brown Nekrastone and not the Fenarians?" Mhinak turns to the party. "Inki also mentioned that he knows the difference between Were-Snakes and Nagas but it looks like Were-Snakes are the problem, not Nagas. Keep your eyes open and do not do anything that you think or will harm the forest, we need to help it in return for help on our quest."
  20. "Let me take a look." Mhinak climbs up a tree and gazes into the distance, looking for anything peculiar.
  21. OoC: I'm not sure that anyone else can understand the cub besides myself, right, and the translations are just for me? Correct me if I'm wrong. Mhinak directs himself towards Inki. "We were not sent by any snake-like beings, I can assure you, and we're certainly not here to desecrate your forest. Tell us about the Treemaster's Heirloom, the Brown Nekrastone, the pale skinned lady, and the scaly being you saw. Any information can help us and in return, we can help you. I assume you were talking about the Naga's though?"
  22. Mhinak raises an eyebrow and looks at Elnath. "Wait, so you don't know who the actual owner is? How would we know who really owns the seal?" He then approaches the cub and kneels down. "Hello little one, my name is Mhinak and these are my friends. We do not mean any harm, we're here to return something, that is all. Perhaps you can lead us into the right direction?" Mhinak looks at the group. "We may have to give him some food to trust us since we're intruding on their land."
  23. Really nice vehicle! Hopefully the other corporations are smart to not mess with it.
  24. I really like the area you made! The ship is also nice too along with those resource caches.
  25. Nice build and the Pyrites seem like a pretty cool alien race.
