  1. Damn you Avalonia for always getting new members! Anyways, welcome Jakorin to GoH and I must say you have an awesome display and I love the BrickWarriors' parts!
  2. Sweet, thanks lego! Now I just need to know what was used for the helmet, chest piece, and tubing, and the rebreather part below the visor where the mouth would be...
  3. So I'm looking for the best ways to: -"dye" armor and helmet pieces -draw on small details -modify pieces without damaging them too much -best item to color parts -best item to actually modify parts As an example, I'm looking to make almost a replica of this
  4. I found this awesome picture of a Brotherhood of Steel Outcast from Fallout 3 in minifig form. I can't tell what pieces were originally used other than a Star Wars helmet. This is heavily modified so any help is appreciated. This has inspired me to make a minifig just like this but I'm not sure what parts were used.
  5. What are you talking about? In the shop, they look the same as the ones in the picture, they're just on a minifig...
  6. Good idea but most of those torsos in Dino Hunter and Monster Fighter have the yellow skin on the torsos though. But the arm would work great!
  7. Okay, I'll take a look at them. Also, torsos with yellow hands are okay, as long as on the torso it doesn't have yellow where the skin would be.
  8. Sweet, I can't wait! Make it interesting! I should also make my sig-fig but I don't have the parts yet. But I've just decided on my concept - Orcs, been cursed for defying Gods, interested in science and technology, and hate humans. There will be vignettes that explain the story better.
  9. You could always try water-slide decals. There might be face decals of the Hobbit and LotR minifigs. I didn't really look at it that way so in that case, you make a really good point. I'm not much of a pirates fan but I tend to collect some of the sets for the brown pieces for Steampunk builds. But the Castle theme has great parts to choose from, a variety in fact, so this saddens me a little bit.
  10. It looks pretty good but how is this Science Fiction..?
  11. Awesome exo-suit! I like the yellow studs and the limbs, they are so detailed!
  12. I plan to get a few builds up next month, not all GoH builds but a fair share. I don't know if anyone likes the "Fallout" series but that's an insight as to what I'll be doing in the near future. More of me would be great, but scientists would rather clone sheep than me! I'm looking forward to see what you can concoct. I've seen some of your Star Wars builds and I feel confident that you'll make something really good. Will it conclude your sig-fig? Can't wait! I should also sort my bricks out but I don't have any containers and I'm more focused on buying pieces than drawers if anything!
  13. That's awesome and great video! I like the part where the AT-TE just pushes the one droid!
  14. It looks good but perhaps maybe you could put a few images and not just links?
  15. This thread should go here.
  16. I usually find them under a dollar.
  17. Well BrickArms does sell weapons for the most part, hence it being called BrickARMS. I believe so, I looked at BrickForge's shop and most of these parts are about $1 and you can place orders on them.
  18. This is exactly how I feel, well put! Also, flesh toned minifigs aren't all that expensive than you'd think.
  19. Okay, I just looked and there are quite a few that can do well for Steampunk, like the Argus Filch and Mad-Eye Moody minifigs. Still need to find a bit more though...
  20. Sheesh, that's a bit harsh don't you think? I'm not going to criticize because that's you're opinion but I disagree 100%. LEGO has don't plenty of Castle themes with the yellow minifigs and trying a theme with fleshed minifigs would be great! Also as a brief example, LEGO made Harry Potter sets with the yellow minifigs at first then switched the the flesh toned minifigs.
  21. I also find it awesome how you can put the haversack on the suspenders so you can have only a backpack on the minifigs if you wanted to.
  22. You do make a good point but LEGO did release the Aztec Warrior minifig in one of the CMF series and the Aztecs did believe in human sacrifice and killed over 80,000 people within a few days. Now that's pretty bad. I'm sure other minifigs based off of real life types of people are bad too like Conquistadors and few more. The Civil War was brutal but if they can't make a Confederate soldier, why make a Union soldier?
  23. I'm not too sure what'll happen with the Castle theme next year but I'd really like to see them use fleshed minifigs this time around since it would be new along with new Elves and Orcs.

It looks awesome but was it really necessary for you to post it twice?
