Cool inn, there are a lot of neat details in this build but i have to say that that stove is fantastic!!! I really love its design!

Neat build, the blue on the building looks good. However I would add something to break up the flat brown area on the ground next to the path. Also, just out of curosity is there a reason the base is so deep?

That sure is an innivative way of getting the dwarves out of their tunnles and protecting our valued green tights Both the above and below ground scenes look great, although I am kind of confused by the clips hanging from the ceiling. I get that the one with the clip section facing upwards create a generally stalactite shape, but what are the ones with the clips facing down?

Cool build, I love the variety of the texturing and how you built this section of the wall diagonal instead of strait!

Age of Mitgardia - Barracks Phase 3 - Vegrsala

Nice build!!! The exterior is great, but what really cought my eye was the interior, with all the colors and action going on. The Norse influence was great! i also thought it was neat that you showed the water pooling out of the underground stream in the back!- 21 replies

Nice series, the Avalonian knight and Music Box Monkey man have got to be my favorites.

This is a very awesome build... the monastary has so many great details, the crumbling sections in particular look very realistic. The landscape and story are also great! Keep the great build coming!

Sweet figs!!! The spell caster and angry lurikeen are my favorites :) Also I think the word you intended to use for the Avalonian spies was grappling hook instead of trident
-
I didn't love the use of tan figs the first time i looked at this, but I think it have started to grow on me. That being said, the loch lord and lizard folk brute are great, and so is the witch of the wild. I also like the adventurer and the Mitgardia light infantry :)
-
Neat figs!!! I really like the barbarian, the duke, and milady. However i am not quite sold on the use of both flesh and yellow figs It's From Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, I can't remember how to spell the villains name who wears the helmet :(

CMF series by lorddan413, on Flickr Kaliphalin: Southern Dwarf by lorddan413, on Flickr Southern Dwarf Skills: This dwarf never misses an opportunity to flaunt his vast wealth, which was gained through the highly profitable black oil industry. While many consider his stories of glorious battles and vanquished enemies to be idle boasting, those who have seen him in combat know that underneath all the glimmering riches and fancy clothing lies a fearsome warrior ready to challenge anyone who would dare threaten him. Lionman by lorddan413, on Flickr Lionman Skills: A ferocious warrior who comes from a tribe of lionmen that live deep within Kaliphalin. He is very skilled with the short sword, and can also fight savagely with tooth and claw. He is also fiercely loyal to Kaliphalin and fights to protect it from evil. Explorer by lorddan413, on Flickr Explorer Skills: This daring adventurer travels across all four guilds, venturing into unknown territories and braving many dangers in order to discover more of the world. He is often sponsored by the University of Peatrea, which fund his expeditions in exchange for maps and journals detailing his journeys, as well as specimens or other items he finds. Although he is occasionally seen leading larger expeditions, he prefers to work alone. As a seasoned adventurer he is well aware of the potential dangers and is more than capable of fending off assailants with his spear and saber. Hunter by lorddan413, on Flickr Hunter Skills: Known only as Hunter, he travels throughout Kaliphalin with one mission… to exterminate any creatures that threaten innocents. Many denounce his actions as savage and monstrous, but none can deny that he is effective. He is best known for slaying a giant crocodile terrorizing a small hamlet, butchering a pack of wild orcs, and ending a killer squid infestation, all with only a knife and his bare hands. Fire Mage by lorddan413, on Flickr Fire Mage Skills: This fire mage belongs to a society of fire mages who are based in Kaliphalin. As a full mage she has a good mastery over fire magic and can easily disintegrate enemies into a pile of ashes, or shoot a blast of flames at them, or use her staff to set them ablaze, or use one of her many other tricks to fight them off. Avalonia: Avalonian Ranger by lorddan413, on Flickr Avalonian Ranger Skills: These mysterious figures are the protectors of the Avalonian people. They are dressed in a mix of forest colors and can blend into the forest, becoming for all intents and purposes invisible. They carry massive longbows, which they shoot with uncanny accuracy and speed, rivaling that of the elves. Woodland Sentry by lorddan413, on Flickr Woodland Sentry Skills: Masters of camouflage who hide in the woods along major trails across Avalonia. This network of Sentries span across Avalonia, and almost nothing gets past without out them finding out. While their main duty is to watch and report, they are also equipped with a small blowgun built into their bush camouflage, which they can use to silently take out potential threats without breaking their cover. They carry a pouch, which contains poison darts for the blowgun, as well as rations, and can also fight with their knife if it comes down to it. Nocturnus: Black Spire Officer by lorddan413, on Flickr Black Spire Officer Skills: An evil, ruthless officer in the Black Spire who commands a squad of warriors. He carries a large war club, which he delights in using on those Nocturnians who dare oppose Lord Ravage. Shadowmere Ambassador by lorddan413, on Flickr Shadowmere Ambassador Skills: A talented diplomat from the city of Shadowmere who furthers Lord Vladivus’s ambitions and represents him in foreign guilds. His primary duty nowadays is to gain new allies for Shadowmere and convince influential Lords to join the war against the Black Spire. He wears gold and red to signify his duty as an ambassador for not only Shadowmere, but all of Free Nocturnus. Although he usually travels without an escort and carrying only his staff, all who have tried to ambush him have never been heard from again. Lava Miner by lorddan413, on Flickr Lava Miner Skills: These miners work on the slopes of volcanoes in the Rakath Mountains, panning in lava flows in search of valuable magma gems. They wear highly heat and flame resistant cloths and armor, which are enchanted to strengthen their durability even further. Despite all this protection, many miners still end up with horrible burns and scars due to mining accidents. They carry only their mining tools and are generally unarmed, so large mining operations usually have a few guards present to defend against the fierce denizens of the Rakath Mountains. Reptilian Assassin by lorddan413, on Flickr Reptilian Assassin Skills: A deadly killer who lurks in the shadows, dashing out only to quickly cut the throat of an enemy of Lord Ssilyrrlith before disappearing back into the darkness. He carries two curved weapons, which he also uses to quickly scale steep rock faces or tall walls. He also carries a small bow, which he uses to take down unarmored enemies without ever having to leave the cover of darkness. Mitgardia: Mounted Guard Berserker by lorddan413, on Flickr Mounted Guard Berserker Skills: A member of the Mounted Guard, which patrols sections of the Northern Mitgardia on the backs of bears and giant wolves. Unlike the mounted warriors, who use massive spears and great swords, the berserkers are armed with war hammers and axehead shields, but they also carry great swords. These powerful warriors are fearsome fighters to begin with, but when enrages they go berserk, smashing through enemy forces and becoming nearly unstoppable, fighting on no matter how badly injured they are, ignoring all wounds short of decapitation. Mitgardian Diplomat by lorddan413, on Flickr Mitgardian Diplomat Skills: Even though he is scared of public speaking and is often confused by the complexity of politics, he is still one of Mitgardia’s best diplomats… mostly because no one dares disagree with him when he is holding his giant battle-axe. Northern Lady by lorddan413, on Flickr Northern Lady Skills: Very little is known about these mysterious ladies who are occasionally spotted in the far north and are rumored to be from deep in the Frozen Beyond. They are known to venture back into the Frozen Beyond to harvest powerful ice crystals, which are shaped using magic blades into weapons that can freeze almost anything they touch. Only the most powerful magics and hottest flames can withstand their weapon’s icy touch. Others: Varlyian Soldier by lorddan413, on Flickr Varlyian Soldier Skills: These formidable warriors make up units in the common Varlyian Army. Although not as well known as the elite Garra units, they are still a force to be reckoned with, and are skilled in the use of their spears. In addition to the colors of Varyio, they also sport black and white to show their affiliation to the Back Spire. Renegade Drow by lorddan413, on Flickr Renegade Drow Skills: A rouge drow who has become disillusioned with their evil ways and now roams the guilds, fighting against the drow at every opportunity and disrupting their evil schemes. She is a deadly warrior and many enemies has fallen to her spear and throwing knife. I am really happy with the way this turned out, and I spent a long time editing both the figs and the descriptions until I felt completely satisfied with every detail. I wasn't able to equally represent all 4 guilds, due to most of my Avalonian type peices being used in my sig fig and his entourage, and since I added the renegade drow and Varlyian Soldier. Enjoy C & C appreciated EDIT: Here is a link to pictures of some of the figs in action.

Great figs, but are missing 4 descriptions EDIT: It seems that Someone wants to declare war against the mighty Avalonia!!! Lord Dan will destroy this foolish Kaliphalinite who dares insult us Avalonians!!!!! Just let me grab my armor and put on my battle tights, and hug a tree for good luck ;)

Great cart, I love it's design, with all the glasses attacked to the side, maximizing the use of the space. The base is also very well done :) -
great snot rockwork, it looks awesome! The different layers all look really good, and the transition from each layer is very well done. I also really like the weapon with the ice skate!

I think it might be part of Smaugs body, but I could be wrong

Fantastic build, it's nice to see your style in a middle earth build. That being said, I feel like these colors are slightly contradicting( there's some trees that look like they are in late fall( the Orange ones) and others that look like early spring( the light green ones) Also, the ground looks a little dead and dry in some sections, like its devoid of life. Additionally, this doesn't really feel like middle earth, or any known part at least. The cottage looks great, with superb detailing, except for the roof, which look only a little off( I think the problem is the bent part looks like it would be too large if it was turned up strait. Despite the few flaws this is still a awesome build and I can't wait to see more of your builds :)

Great balrog, I would love to see this as a set. However if it were an actual set I feel like there would be some sort of small rock structure, probably with a launching feature to launch gandalf.

If you had the parts in black it would work just as well since it would look like a shaded crack or a shadow Oh yeah, I forgot to comment. I really like this build, all the detailing on the ground looks great( the vines and stuff) and works really well with the pillars. The pillars look really good, the shape and and general design of them are just great, as is the minifig posing. However, I agree that a few bones scattered on the ground would be a good addition. :)
