Ahh, that’s why I didn’t recognize them. Never did get around to buying any of the seat, but did like them. They definitely are a cool piece.

I’m excited, but I’m not sure what to think about this one. Im not familiar with the character, so I don’t know if the humor aspect is right on or not. I’m always down for comic book movies. This seems like a bit of a departure from comic book movies. This appears like the humor is going to different from the humor Marvel has in their movies.

The back is just amazing. I want to build something using plates like that...just need to figure out what. I love the drive through area as well. A nice change to the usual buildings look.

[MOC] The Hideous Duplo Beast
Vindicare replied to PaddyBricksplitter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Very cool! Love the mix of System & Duplo. Great drool too. -
This is super cool! Great build. Those instructions were quite fun to watch. What piece is used for the shoulder? I don’t recognize it.

Sounds like quite the interesting twist & turns may be coming to Ballabreek...I look forward to it.

@Flieger In all honesty, I’m not sure LEGO is behaving stupidly. They might be by going after him, because, as it seems from the Germans who have chimed in here, he is quite the marketing man for the company. We don’t have the full story though, from either side or at all officially from TLG. IP protection is something we all know TLG takes seriously. It’s understandable that you are on Panke’s side...almost like brand loyalty if you will. Appreciate the clearing up on my renouncing question.
-
Didn’t he though? It was said in this thread early on that he’s going to now review competing brands, where he was exclusively LEGO before. That sounds like renouncing to me, at least in part. If it wasn’t ego, what was it? Being on the way outside looking in, I’m not educated on this...but how did this story about a cease & desist letter become public knowledge? I’m guessing he made a video about it?

Grabbed a couple LEGO Movie 2 CMS. Scarecrow Flashback Lucy

I couldn’t agree more with your comments about the Lex Mech set. It’s definitely one of the best mechs we’ve seen out of the Superheroes line. It was a pretty fun build & the cockpit feature is a nice addition. Minifigs are great too.

LEGO Star Wars 2019 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Vindicare replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Looking better at both the previous Slave One(not UCS) & this new one, it’s quite a bit different than I initially thought. I’m more excited now for it...we’ll see if the price ruins that. -
LEGO Star Wars 2019 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Vindicare replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I’m happy to see shield generator as a set, as that was the one part of Assault on Hoth that I really liked. I’ll grab that one for sure. Zuckuss coming in the Slave One was just mean... It’s way too similar to the last Slave One. Price will decide. Both of the set & what the secondary market is selling Zuckuss for. @Clone OPatra Oh man, yes! We haven’t had Jango’s version in a very long time...and they could’ve definitely pull off a good looking Kaminoan these days. -
[Compilation] Every LEGO Unikitty ever produced
Vindicare replied to kaelthas's topic in Special LEGO Themes
This is really cool. Despite the overload of Unikitty(thanks largely to the show) I still love the character. It’s nice seeing her in all her forms in one place. -
I only admire from afar, so I don’t know how feasible if would be, but I wonder how Great Ball Contraption like sets would do. They could run a series of them that work independently or together. I have no idea if that could be possible, smalls sets, in terms of functioning...or fun to play with. Just thinking about spreading it out instead of one big set.
-
While not familiar with the source material, that is a great little cart build. It’s nice & compact...while being able to fit two minifigs side by side. Nice work.

Even though I completely botched who was in which movie...I’m well aware the character is the same throughout...none of which I’m disputing. I was(incorrectly) linking the Express to year 4 based on the appearance of the trolley witch, when it was not. No retardation here, just a simple mix up of the movies. Reckon I need to refresh my brain with a binge watch. Oy vey...I really screwed the pooch. I swear I know I know what I’m talking about... Let’s try this again...the Express that is now currently in stores could be from year 3 just as much as it could be from year 1, given who’s in it. Also, going by the wanted picture on the platform of Sirius. Going back to my original point that the first wave hasn’t just focused on years 1 & 2.
-
Nope, she appeared as her minifig in GoF. Her appearance in Stone was was a smaller, older woman with a white hat/bonnet thing on. Ugh...duh. I don’t know what I was thinking that the Anglia was year 3...I brain farted I suppose. Even still, year 3 has been visited, even obscurely by including Lupin & the Dementor in the Express. But then we have the Witch, Luna...and year 1/2 trio. So who really knows.
-
Granted the Express is basically an every movie set, it’s inclusion of Lupin has it as a year 3. Or with Luna, it’s year 6. Then we have the Trolley Witch, who didn’t appear until...4? And the Willow is from year 3.

The list has three in there as well. Expecto Patronum & Knight Bus are definitely three. Hagrid’s Hut could very well be as well.

Licensed Themes VS Original Themes
Vindicare replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
While Speed Champions doesn’t have sub themes, they have a variety of racing types. Without looking at their full line up, we’ve had an F1 car, a few Le Mans cars, some GT cars, regular super cars. This year we have a NASCAR inspired one & the Mini two pack with off road rally cars. We just don’t have the diecast inspired ones. -
Rarest set, polybag, piece or minifigure that you own
Vindicare replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well, according to Brickset’s numbers it’s 3053 Emperor’s Stronghold sitting at 793 owned. Not super rare...but I think it’s the best I got. As for minifigs, being in the States...might be the Winter Soldier polybag? It looks like it wasn’t available over here. But I’m sure there’s a fair number of people like me who still got their hands on it.
