I agree. I know were not the target audience and all, but I don't play with my LEGO. I do get a kick, albeit short one, out of the bricks. They really aren't necessary, IMO. How much of an expense are they, really? Does it really drive the price of a set up that much though?

If only I had his LEGO budget...

I'd say...somewhere around 20%. I have quite a few multiples of BPs, an extra Battle of Naboo, 2 Swamp Speeders, blah blah blah.

Not much sidewalk in this set. I think our next modular will be a corner building. Let's examine why, CC-GG-FB-GE-PS-TH. Every two buildings then we got a corner building. Since GE and with the release of Town Hall, we have two buildings. As far as placement among the other modulars, I'm thinking making an 'H' with street plates, put the Town Hall on the horizontal street and the others on the perimeter of each side. grogall, you just made my day with the release date info! Few months<few weeks.

That's one awesome dragon. I love the purple on it's spine. It really gives it that "POP". Neat story to go along with the pictures. I can't wait for your next dragon!

I'd like to know as well. I have all the modulars+ the Imperial Flagship put together in the locker and I'm worried they'll be messed up.

I can't quite figure out how to post a picture on my iPad...but I saw a great funny, maybe someone can make it off my description. So, there's a Hasbro stormtrooper sitting at a table. There's a LEGO Chewy on the table and a LEGO stormtrooper off to the side. The text reads as follows. Kid: Whats for dinner dad? Dad: Wookie steak. Kid: Is it any good? Dad:it's a little Chewy. Maybe it's been done in here before, I can't remember. I got a good chuckle out of it.

Yeah, I find it pretty funny all the theories that come to be here. I like, and used to somewhat believe, in the "hint" modular one.

Holy sh!it were the first things to come out of my mouth when I saw this. This is crazy huge. That's a serious structure there and is really spot on. I like the booster area down at the bottom. Great looking rocket.

O-M-G! This is seriously insane! I don't even know what to say, as my jaw is on the floor. That thing is tall. Anyone know what the red torso'd photographer is? I'm happy to see that orange torso, as I want and need one. Is that clock face piece from the Cars Big Ben set? I too, think this will be better suited by itself. I'll see how it looks by the others, however. LEGO, how about releasing this in February? Seeing as it's Leap Year, we have an extra day of waiting!

I hope you plan on posting some pictures of your MOD! I'd certainly like to see it. The chopper is probably my favorite set, I love the final product. It may get knocked out of first by the plane, but as I don't have it yet...I would definitely pick up the chopper sooner than later.

Nice, I think you captured it pretty spot on. I can't say for sure, but weren't the supports wood? Great job either way! A little constructive criticism, what about adding a few of those new flame pieces? Like it's billowing out between the teeth.

I love it how so many people are swinging from the lower region of this theme. Some thinking it's going to last forever and bring down SW as king of themes. I have no real opinion of it's longevity or the sets. The pictures aren't good enough to really see any details, anyways. We all know the bread and butter of this theme will be it's figs. Look at all the people who went ape sh!t over the Elf CMF. I plan on buying at least buying some of the sets. Ideally, I'd like to have the main characters. But, that remains to be seen when grogall finally hands o er those HD pictures he's hoarding

I liked, and got, the Rorschach reference.

If you collect Castle, then definitely go MMV. Otherwise go with GE. They're both great sets, MMV will go off the market soon. I think it's one of the best sets for the money LEGO has done.

Great building. I love the front, from the big columns, to the brick like exterior. Ready and waiting for Arkham!

I've seen one those pictures on another website, but never spotted any around town. I think it's pretty cool. Some of those you have there are great, and big.

I'm with you on not being a huge fan of these. Hopefully the HD pics will shed a new light on the theme. I'm eager to see the figs and new swords and such.
