  1. What a great and funny way to show your MOD! Very nice. The added articulation is good, what evil genius doesn't want to do the hustle? I have yet to see this set in stores, but am eager to get this for Superman!
  2. Well, that answers that question. they've never been on a PaB wall? Drat...I guess I'll have to resort to online PaB...
  3. I didn't think this question needed it's own topic, so I'll ask it here. In regards to PaB. Anyone who knows if would be a better deal if I bought a box of pieces or stuffed a few large cups with pieces. The pieces I'm looking for are 2x4 dark grey tiles(sidewalks)?
  4. Forgive me, for one thing, I'm on my iPad and don't know how/if I can post pictures here. I guess I should've made it more clear, I'm referring to baseball hats.
  5. 4437 & 4438 TRU had a lot of new sets. SW(including planet and Anis pod racer polybag), HF-esque DC characters, Funhouse set.
  6. I just purchased 4438 and was looking at the hat on the bandit. I wondered why don't they use the new, IMO better looking, hat. What is your opinion? Vote!
  7. I like the Mario creations on the TV!
  8. If it's there, it's doing a good job of hiding. As far as mine goes, I have 13 episodes, none of which are LEGO.
  9. As long as it's not raining, or if you don't mind getting wet, I highly recommend walking across the Golden Gate Bridge. Or, if you both want to, walk half way. SF doesn't have a LEGO store, so the surrounding area(Hillsdale Mall & Valley Fair) would be your best bet. If you want to do some tourist stuff, go to Pier 39. It's a great city, you'll enjoy it!
  10. Steel Cage match! This is great! You need to get your hands on some S2 Lifeguard legs, better fitting "tights" than just colored hips. The ring is really well done. You have everything there. Next you need to add an announcers table and a few screens at the entryway. It needs to be larger than life, over the top.
  11. Any solid release date yet? Were in the final stretch of January now... Here's to hoping it's February!
  12. This may be a bit TOO nerdy...but here we go! After reading Legomans clone trooper vig thread and saw the names of Clones being discussed a bit I thought it would be kind of neat to use your birthday as your Clone ID. For example, mine is April 3rd, 1981--"CT-43-1981" would mine. What's yours?
  13. Ya know, now that you mention it about the log bricks, I see...it adds a bit of texture. It's looking better! It does look a lot better without so much neck.
  14. Looking better! Nice little splashes of green in there now.
  15. I think the reason they weren't so crazy about the shut down is because they had no control over it. It was at another place and they couldn't do anything on their end, but wait.
  16. For handmade, that's pretty cool! The end result(so far) is getting there. The edges are a bit rough, but that comes from making it with your fingers. Maybe try using an Xacto knife and kind of "wittle" the edges, maybe? To get the crisp, clean lines. I definitely like the last one, keep it up!
  17. This is amazing! I'm always so impressed with your stuff, Schfio. This guy is no different! The detail is outstanding! The head is awesome, the position of the body is !(so excited I don't know what to say). The scales on the back of it...! I would LOVE to have this in my collection, you selling? It does look like Shenlong. You should've made the ball orange.
  18. I remember growing up, I'd use our pool table for everything BUT pool. It would work as a great LEGO table.
  19. I like it, nice use of the astromech legs. It has a Fifth Element look and feel to it. Part car, part futuristic spaceship. Nice storage compartment too. Although it has to be bulky, it kind of looks odd and doesn't really fit with the sleekness of the front.
  20. Bit of an odd mech. I can see how it's a scout mech, light and nimble. The legs are well built. Why no defenses, though? No guns or anything... If it were to get spotted, it'd be a sitting duck. It better be REAL fast. I think you have a great start with the legs, keep going!
  21. After looking at it again trying to figure a way to help you with the hood, I noticed 2 things I didn't before. The Jawa has a visible neck(which he definitely shouldn't wearing a hood). I see why he has a visible neck, however. I see his bandolier gets in the way of where the folds of his hood would lay. You could at least extend the left side to make the hood rest on the shoulders. See how that looks, it may look lopsided...not sure. Maybe you could try to make a little tunnel, of sorts, in the right shoulder and pull the bandolier through, or just build the hood around the bandolier?
  22. Agreed. There should be at the very least, a Slytherin banner or serpent statue. What's up with all the First Years not getting uniforms? You did capture a dungeon feel pretty well though. It just feels dank and dark. Nice atmosphere! Throw some banners up in the empty circles in the top of your MOC and you'll be good.
  23. Mmkay, thanks. I guess I should've worded it a bit differently. What I meant was more like a special order. Not one that would come in with the stores next regular shipment of PaB boxes.
  24. Also, something I thought was neat, but was quick and easy to miss was the print being applied to the oval Lion shield. Stuck the red-white-lion-lion outline/details. I wasn't aware prints were done in layers like that. Very cool.
  25. Very impressive! I like the bay window and the balcony on the back. The inside is nicely detailed as well. Interesting career choices there. That nurse picture is the best, great use of faces!
