Are you sure it wasn't just a glare or something coming from the display case? I've never even heard of this problem. All the modular reviews haven't mentioned it. Hmm...my Pet Shop was fine. Can you post a picture, assuming you still have them.

By years end, I'm going to have about 49,238 of these things. Between all LotR and Marvel(not sure if Marvel has them, DC didn't), 3 Ninjago, and whatever else they come in tis year. Anyways, I digress... This will be the first Modular since 10185 Green Grocer on the day it came out. I have to wait 10 more days! Making a trip to the LEGO store. The agony will almost kill me.

Wow, cool dragon! My favorite part is those eyes! Those beady little eyes. Good use of pieces there. The rocky cave wall is well done too, looks very convincing. All the details on the dragon are well done too, the trans blue highlights are great and a nice touch to break up the otherwise dark colors. The dark grey flaps on the wings back by the green is great looking. Good work!

Not bad at all. Looks kind of like Heavy Arms from Gundam Wing. I think the head could use a bit more work, but I think you did a good job on the body. For a first attempt, I'd say you're just about there.

Great job. I love that stonework, amazing! The landscape is a nice. Real from the norm, but doesn't lack the same details, the tree is a cool design.

I love it! Like you, I'm saddened by the Kingdoms death. But you have paid great homage to the line. You did great recreating the set in Kingdoms motif. I also really liked the original Drawbridge Defense set, probably my favorite of that sub theme. Way to keep the line alive!

Wow! This is awesome! I love everything. The junker truck pod is killer. The engines are packed with cool details. Way to go.

For $10...I don't know. I'm leaning towards saying no, because you could put that ten towards something better vehicle wise and get the same or more figs. Then again, $10 for two figs(the blue shirt cop is cool) and some bricks, why not. I say yeah, go for it.

Very cool! It's about time we've seen some Dino MOCs. These look awesome. The raptor needs to have light armor, otherwise it'd be too slow.

These are some awesome pieces! That first helmet is full of awesome! The antlers are pretty cool too. Now all we need is a deer.

I think you should keep the SHOP sign. To me, it's a big part of the facade, the bright yellow backed by...dull(for lack of a better term) colors(tan/gray). It's an identifying factor for the building, as well.

Not bad car. The front looks really good, I'm not sure what's up with the mini wings on the side? I like the small details like the wipers, the stripes and the exhaust. Interior looks a bit cramped, though.

Another home run! I love the tools used as greebles on the doors. Very cool that it can be situated different ways, too. Looks great either way.

Also, for whatever reason, my TRU has been getting these sets in spurts. First it was the Batcave, followed by Funhouse, then Batwing. All spread out over a month or so. All the while, they have all the SW, most of the City, Ninjago, and so on. It's just weird. No sign of Superman set yet, or Two Face...
