Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
Vindicare replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Iron Fist/Nova aren't really secondary characters are far as the show is concerned however. If you've seen the show in it's majority at least, you would certainly know how the aforementioned are. I wouldn't put them in the no name category. Not as big as Spidey, of course, but still we know who they are. -
When I got back into LEGO in '07 I bought most of the Forestmen and all Ninja sets. Deciding whether you want say 1 old set or maybe several new sets would depend on how bad you want the old set. Of course, it also could depend on when the new set came out. If it just came out, there's always going to be another opportunity for a while to get it.

Saw Cloud Atlas. Great, but weird movie. The characters/stories were funny, action packed, suspense and drama all over the place. The make up artists in this movie had a field day, especially on Hanks.

Yo Joe! Or...I guess Cobraaaaaa! Awesome looking vehicles, perfect recreations.
-
FINALLY! You've graced us with another adorable creation. He is way too cute to be spooky though.

Every single one is brilliant! I especially love the 'brick' house. Great job on all, very quaint and homey. How about a groupshot?
-
I'll throw my whattocallit name in the ring. I think it could very well be Ky-mah, as in Chimera. Just going off the lion faction... Those figs definitely look great!

I'm sure we've all done that. I know I have! 4429 Helicopter Rescue 10229 Winter Village Cottage Business Card Holder Unfortunately they were out of the boxed set of Brickley, he eludes me still.

This is great! I love the dwarves you've customized. The CMF 1 Caveman works perfect for one without their helmet on. The cave is cool too. I like 'cut out' to show the interior instead of an entire wall gone. The ruin landscape up top really finishes the creation, for me. Awesome!

Wow! Great shot, that angle and composition is perfect.

I agree, great batch kyphur, very funny!

Awesome! That skeleton frame is great, as is the whole platform. I too like this part of the movie(except Grievous dying) and you did it justice!

Well, they'll most likely be out in November(depending on your location, naturally). So parents could still lie and say its for Christmas, when they'll take it for themselves.
-
Saw Frankenweenie. It was cool, typical Burton fashion. The characters are all sculpted weird and great, good movie for sure.
-
Great update! I saw the Coast Guard HQ on flickr, it's outstanding. I like that you stuck with the original themes color scheme and mixed it with some of 10197 Fire Brigade. The rest of your layout is looking good as well. Love the brick built ocean and nice placement/MOD on 5770 Lighthouse.

This is definitely awesome, especially for a first attempt. The exterior is great, I like your color choices. The interior is so full of goodies I don't even know where to begin. The kitchen, bunk beds...all excellent! Great job!

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

Well, TRU in California at least is having a "sale" on SW and a few other themes. The "sale" is basically no TRU tax on SW. If you hate buying at TRU because of the tax, nows your chance! It's going for about a month. -
Recently seen Pitch Perfect, Argo and Alex Cross. Pitch was a great movie with a decent soundtrack. Argo was awesome! As was Alex Cross, Perry did well and Matthew Fox was a bad megablocks baddie.

Very good job on the vehicles, instantly recognizable. The H. I. S. S. and TroubleBubble are great because of the unique shape of each was captured great. Not to say the Rattler/Skystriker aren't, they look just as they should too. -
Definitely won't be this year. They're typically released around March/April.

Oh my, that basement is a dream for most of us on this forum. First question I have is why are the Quidditch clad Hogwarts students bowing down to a brick separator? Haha...oh the randomness found in layouts these days. Everything is just brilliant, although I'm not a fan of the added floor to FB, just way to tall.

I'm not completely sold on the Crocs. The minifigs I love, as with all the minifigs of this line, but the vehicles just don't grab my attention like the others. That little bike thing is strange looking, and not very safe for the driver. The boat is pretty cool, but a bit of a jumbled mess. The size/price is really the determining factor(s) for me. I'm not too into LEGO boats either. We'll see though.

Wonderful landscape! All the foliage is great and the figs and all their going about is cool. I really like seeing landscapes done, and medevial ones are the best. This is no exception, awesome work.

I thought it was pretty funny too, neat little build.
