  2. Praiter Yed-1 Oky-1 Artanis-1 Great job all, it was difficult choosing just 3.
  3. Sadly, you may be waiting a while...I don't see them making an appearance. Maybe if this line lasts long enough and us 'old farts' make a big enough stink(I know, right...) they'll make some old school Turtle sets with some of the beloved characters. I wish you hadn't mentioned Triceraton...I wouldn't really recommend this for die hard fans, but I went on eBay and searched for Triceraton, what a mistake that was. I just about bought him and a lot more characters I loved.
  4. Well, your first year back is always crazy. There's so much to buy from years past that are still on the shelves. This year doesn't seem so bad because you've gained some ground. I went nuts my first year back. Every week going to TRU, constant eBay checks. I've done a fair bit of spending at LEGO stores this year, mainly big dollar exclusives, but I primarily buy at TRU because it's close and I'm terrible with directions. The closest LEGO store for me is a little over an hour away. Part of me is happy to not be invited, I don't have any money to spend anyways.
  5. Since getting back into LEGO I don't have any buyers regret. Since I don't MOC and only collect sets for what they are, I have only ever bought sets I like. As far as sellers remorse, I have enough to rocket me to the moon... I sold all my childhood LEGO in my teens. And I had A LOT! Classic Space(pretty much all factions, including monorails), Castle(again, all factions), Town, Adventurers, just about everything TLG had to offer in the late 80's-90's. I've since bought some old again, but decided to focus on the new instead.
  6. ! Awesome funny, Hammerstein. Great job with the figs.
  7. Hmm, that's strange. I wonder why TLG doesn't have them listed with 10229... Also, now that I think about it, I did 10222 Post Office but not the previous two.
  8. Well, according to the S@H I checked, and one of the local LEGO stores, they're only selling 10229. So, I guess you're a lucky one.
  9. There's that CMF Rocker Girl from series 6, I think it is. That's about as close as they currently have. But, since Chase McCain is coming out next year, theres a chance she might as well.
  10. Aweome! I love the details you got here, nice piece usage. Grill piece windows are cool. Do you have a shot of 10230 with your MOCs?
  11. That's what I plan on doing. Plus, you actually got it cheap(relatively). If you buy the game you'll be spending at least $40 I'm sure. So it's actually cheaper to just buy Elrond, if you're not interested in the game, that is.
  12. Haha! Awesome, Oky. All are great, especially the Batman one.
  13. Awwwwww...only DC? Very nice drawing, you have a lot of talent. I look forward to the next installment.
  14. This is amazing! The lettering is very impressive, you captured the cover pretty damn well.
  15. 9498 Saesee Tiin's Jedi Starfighter Shirtless Maul Polybag(TRU promo. Awwwwww Yeah!!!)
  16. Got a question about the shirtless Maul TRU promo. I have 9496 Desert Skiff in the cart, do I need to add something else to my cart in order to qualify, seeing as the Skiff is $24.99... Or is the free Maul with $25 purchase include shipping? Also, does Maul show up in the cart? Or will it just ship with everything else.
  17. Saw Flight yesterday. Great movie. If you're not a fan of flying, I would close my eyes towards the beginning. Some parts were a bit much, however.
  18. Ugh, I hope this doesn't happen. Of course SheepEater makes a good point. Although my wallet would be happy, no more buying LSW. The rest of me would be sad.
  19. Yeah, this sounds like wishful thinking to me. I would take advantage of it if they did, I missed quite a few with 3-5.
  20. I would get it now if you can swing it. If you're hoping that by waiting till next year it will be cheaper, don't count on it. It would most likely return next year, but only for months at a time(including this initial release). Before replying, I checked to see if 10222 Post Office was available, it's not. Typically, they re-release the previous years set around the holidays. I haven't seen the 10199 Toy Shop or 10216 Bakery on S@H. Basically, chances are that it will be available sometime next year, but I wouldn't put off buying it on the chance it will be. I just bought and built this the other night. It really is a great set. A nice addition to the series, even with the slight mundane torso choices. A few are big repeats in the City line.
  21. Ah-mazing! This is beautiful. All your MOC'ed buildings look like official sets from the same line. The snowy landscape is brilliantly done. I like the official sets thrown in too.
  22. Very cool looking mech! I really like his stance. That Predator-esque shoulder cannon is awesome! Clever piece usage for the feet, I like it.
  23. No question about it, BUY IT! I absolutely love that set, and I'm not even that much of a pirates fan. The finished model is brilliant. I had a number of people not even realize it was LEGO when I told them it was.
  24. But the comics aren't the source material for Spiderman in this case, the cartoon is. Beetle has been a reoccurring villain on the show. That says a lot because thus far, most villains have been much like action theme from TLG, one and done.
  25. Go on YouTube and search Lego Town(or city). There are some great examples of Towns, and as mentioned, here too. The Creator houses work perfectly well with Modulars. Not every buildings are big, 3 story complexes. The houses are a great compliment. I'll echo what's been said, Modulars are the downtown/business section, and put the houses on the outskirts and beaches(in the case of the two). I have all the Creator houses and they don't look odd along with the Modulars. So, buy, buy, buy!
