Awesome! Looks great, but the top part of the head with the antenna make it seem like it has bug eyes or something. I see what you were going for and certainly can't think of a better way. The close up shot though really shows off the head properly. I like that you went with grey/red as opposed to the white/red we typically see. Nice work as usual!

This is an amazing build. The scenes are expertly done, that Tatoonie one is just brilliant. Perfect depth and texture there. Dagobah Artoo looks like it took some effort, wow.

I'm definitely excited for all these opportunities for clones(even plain Phase 1). That olive green(?) colored clone is a Sergeant, yes? Krell looks pretty darn good, I fear he is going to be a bit too tall though. Clones should come to his shoulder(according to the posted picture a few pages back) so we'll see how that turns out.

I agree with Faefrost. I would definitely stay away from those figs. One way or another they're on eBay under not good circumstances. Whether they were early previews for retailers(which most likely they signed some kind of agreement to no sell, I imagine), or they were pocketed by not so good employees. Whatever it was. Kez, interesting indeed. Like I said, I have heard of mistakes were sets were sold months before they were supposed to be released, 10228 Haunted House, but that eBay auction could be a number of things. 1. scam, 2. a kind of pre order(they sell a "ticket" to get the set once once it's available. I don't get why people would do this, but ok), or 3. seller does in fact have the set.

Give it a year(or less, depending on what kind of spender you are ). They won't seem too small for much longer. Especially if you get into UCS Star Wars.

Nice! Finally got myself 9516 Jabbas Palace. Saved $55 too! First, they took off their TRU tax from that(and 9515 Malevolence). Then they had a $25 off anything over $100. I REALLY shouldn't have spent the money, but I couldn't pass on that saving.

How can TLG sell the figs like TC-14, Shirtless Maul and so on and sell them by themselves? I thought Hasbro sued them(or something of the sort)...

This fig really is cool! His print is great and his weapon is as well.

Honestly, I don't think he looks too bad with the short one. I probably will still look around for a comparable long cape though.

I just got lucky today! Was at the mall getting a Cinnabon:drool: and decided to stop on in the GameStop and check. At first he said no, they were just pre-orders. Then as I was about to walk out the door he called to me. Turns out he had one(maybe more). So he gave it to me. Despite what you hear, always be sure to ask! Now I'm off to TRU to find that new polybag...

Well, the Hobbit sets are due out November 27th, so seeing them on the shelf isn't too surprising. Especially for a TRU.

I was really hoping we'd see a Kai hairpiece. A D2C, as you suggested, would be our last hope.

I use them as they were intended, their own faction. It's not like there was just one good side and one bad side. They could even be from a neighboring country.

I am so excited for next years 75007! I'll be buying up all of those I see. Only downside is having a way too large fleet of mini RAS's. I guess I can use them as spy drones.

Where is this for sale? Ive never heard of a D2C set available for purchase months before it's scheduled to come out. And for twice the MSRP?... What's the source of this info?

Not the back, but each floor can be separated to access the interior. I rarely buy multiples. SW battle packs I do, and the occasional SW ship/vehicle to add to my clone army. Otherwise, I'm pretty much a one and done. I don't MOC so that definitely helps in only needing one of a set. I plan on getting another 10223 Joust.

It does indeed. However, this definitely wouldn't be the first botched release of sets. I don't remember specifics, but someone bought 10228 Haunted House before it was supposed to be available. I also believe he bought it at a LEGO Brand store.

I wouldn't hold too much onto that thought. The CMF monsters(and MF for that matter), are all basically the typical movie monster look. Just like all the other CMFs, general fig from a certain sport/activity/time period, and so on. Plus, if this, as the rumor states, a reimagining of a classic era. There was no boar faction in the Classic Castle days.
