    Great review, very informative! Nice, clear pictures showing off the set nicely. I'm loving the drunk face on the Elf Chief. Once I get this all those Mirkwood Elf polybags will have a home.

    Who remembers the Y2K scare? I predict basically the same thing will happen here. I agree on the great contest though. Either way I'm glad The Hobbit comes out on the 14th!

    Finally got my hands on The Hobbit/LotR. Started The Hobbit today, partly in anticipation for the movie. I've been wanting to read teem for years now, just never got around to buying them. So far, I absolutely love it. I'm only 40 or so pages in, but I love the way Tolkein tells the story. And his way of writing/describing things and people. 8 million from me.

    That is a good bit of news indeed! Seeing all the other sets being released(Speedorz and constraction) I'm glad I never got into either of those sides of LEGO. I'll be getting the System sets only. Now the long wait till pictures of these temples.

    I checked back a few pages, but didn't see anything. If in missed it, excuse my eyesight...is the map 2x2 piece in the Gandalf polybag a new piece? I saw it today at TRU and I didn't recognize the print.

    I like(and look up if need be) to use both number and name when talking about specific set(s). It's juts easier. When people mention just the number, unless you look it up, you may not know which set they're talking about. Where does 7066 Earth Defense HQ rate on this list of yours?!

    Ah, you caught me in a fib...I forgot to mention that one as well. So, the 4 smaller sets were at TRU(damn them to hell)

    Saw all of these, minus the lair, at TRU. I just about fainted when I saw how much 79100 was. For example, 79100 Kraangs Lab Escape has 90 pieces and was $17.99(!!!!!) while The Hobbit 79000 Riddles for the Ring has 105 pieces and is $12.99. Are the specialty pieces really that big of a difference?! TRU is really making me sick with their price hikes.

    That 10211 GE looks fantastic(and more fitting) with the 48 layout. It looks more like a mall. 10218 looks odd, but I like the entryway you built for it. Is that 10228 I spy back there, too? I'd like to see an overall picture of your layout, these teaser shots are great!

    Awesome little scene, love the water flowing through. Great job with the trees, all the Mirkwood polybags certainly made this MOC a little easier.

    I'm curious how special that box with that red "Preview" label is? I saw(but didn't buy because I don't keep the boxes anyways) that label on this set in a Target today. Should I go back and buy it?

    Could the blue minifig be a new Greedo maybe? Neither him or Max would make sense on the Sail Barge, not that that has ever stopped TLG before. They both do however, have ties to Jabba. Only time will tell. I'm excited though for all of those rumors. I don't have a Sail Barge or AT-TE. Since I'm a clone army getter, another RGS is never a bad thing.
