Ah, ok. I thought I completely missed something. As for Frodo in the movie, when I first heard that he would be in there I thought how are they going to do that?! But, I think(and like) the way they did it. It was a neat set up for the telling of the story. I didn't mind Galadriel either, it was nice for some familiar faces.

Finished reading the book for the first time. I'm a bit lost on something, maybe I read too fast at some points and just missed it. Where do Legolas and Tauriel come into the picture?! A love triangle....wha... I don't remember reading their names in the Hobbit. And why are they in the Mirkwood Spiders set? I'll definitely be reading this again soon, I'll have to be sure to read slower.

Great Modular! While the outside isn't as ornate as normal, this is fantastic. I love the light grey corner pillars, NPU there. The color choices are great.

This is great. I love the buildings shape. Lively interior too. The outhouse is a fun addition. Great entry!

I don't remember this being mentioned, so my apologies if it was. I saw a video over on FBTB about the design aspect of the theme. 79104 Shellraiser Street Chase just went up in it's cool factor! I was unaware that the wheels could pop up over the body and it has train wheels underneath for tracks! That's awesome.

Saw The Hobbit-awesome! The scenery alone was INSANE! Action was great and I can't wait for round 2!

Actually, the pattern did repeat(that being corner building, 2 straight). I'd say that justifies a pattern. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!

At TRU I saw all but 70703 Star Slicer. It was really hard to resist buying these...but that markup.

Got all but 79003 from S@H because it was back ordered. Headed on down to TRU and got scalped(). Now the agonizing wait for the others to get here and I can reunite the Mirkwood Elves with their brethren.

Definitely don't care for the oversized accessories. But, those "mudguards" are fenders, are they not...more like fender flares I suppose. But, when I think mudguards, I think the flaps behind trucks. Funny comics and neat list, it's a shame it wasn't finished.

While it's nothing official as far as I know, the pattern does speak for itself. We have Cafe Corner(corner building)-Green Grocer-Fire Brigade-Grand Emporium(corner building)-Pet Shop-Town Hall. Just going by that, the next one should be a corner. Agan, I haven't heard any word of this pattern from TLG, but it seems likely.

Originally I wasn't fond of the Croc Boat. It is growing on me though. I like all the figs with it. Personally, the Crocs got the raw end of the deal on vehicles. I'm hoping the Wolves get a lot more love in the next wave.
