    Despite the cut plates this is fantastic! It has that real world feel that a road course has. Your original picture reminded me a lot of Pocono...but the new one is even better. Well done!

    Sometimes change is hard to take. Especially a sudden & unexpected one such as this. When something goes 11 years, then a big change occurs, people are naturally going to be upset. Plus, the s classic faces give a nice sense of nostalgia. That’s the main reason why I’m upset over the change. I’m okay with the new faces, just bummed at the change.

    Why so much dislike for Batman Movie sets? I recently built 70917, it’s a fun build & a cool & creatvive model. I don’t like low riders in any form, but I adore Joker’s. The Batmobile is a fun, different take on the vehicle. I will echo some sentiments though... As to to the topic, Best Theme: unlike MAB , Batman Movie. Best Minifigure: Poison Ivy Best Set: Assembly Square Worst Theme: Brickheadz Worst Minifigure: Hmm...how about any female with that grey jacket, purple scarf torso. I have so many! Worst Set: Taj Mahal- at least update it... Most Anticipated: Harry Potter

    Anything LEGO Batman Movie related. I’ve gotten near everything from that theme and I think they’re all pretty fantastic.

    I think it’s more along the line of being from a movie that is almost a year ago. Granted it is Batman & he will always sell, kids have generally moved on from the movie. That’s what I think he meant by being greedy. Not wanting more Batman, but more specific Batman. I’d buy more in a heartbeat. I haven’t had the urge to be a completinist in some time, but this theme has me hooked.

    Got myself Mime & Zodiac Master. A bunch of dark tan 2x2 tiles. 1x4 & 1x1 brown tiles for the train tracks.

    I actually quite like the studs in the sidewalks, it helps keep the minifigs from falling over. I have those 2x2 jumpers all over mine.

    Oh wow! That alternate face on the rocker dude is awesome! Almost as good as puke face from the Fairground Mixer.

    I don’t understand why people are so underwhelmed with the set. It was, what...$80? It’s far cheaper than any other, so of course it’s going to look much different. It adds great variety to the skyline. Personally, I love the gated market area. It’s used as a walkway to enter the park from the street side.

    Yeah, that’s a very noticable drop and there’s no crease on that area that could be warping the view.

    I’m liking this. Weird about the floors though...and the faces. I liked the classic smiley’s, took me back. Perhaps TLG thought it was time for a change after 10 years. I like the car as well, better look than the limo. Looks to be a Bel-Air. The front end is done great.

    I think this whole series is a home run. The figures are excellent, the sets are fun & creative. Harley’s cannonball truck is the oddball of the bunch for me though. The builds of the sections of the city are a nice start for The Narrows, and the figs are great. I just don’t really care for the truck itself. I do love all the different “Bat” vehicles, which only ups my urge to buy all the sets.

    Exactly. The complaints that buildings are too short are just weird. I get that they want to feel like the got their moneys worth, though. Set wise, we do as they’re generally the same on piece count, with a few exemptions.

    I want this set for that rickshaw! The mech is pretty cool & fun as well.

    Saw Thor today. I haven’t enjoyed a soundtrack this much since the first GotG.

    Oh yes, I was just admiring her. I definitely prefer with the death headdress, makes her more menacing. And the green printing is fabulous. I like the subtlety of it. That’s an awesome, and equally menacing, shot of the goddess.
