Finally got a good look at the Mighty Micros, never do pay them much mind, and saw the Kandor cylinder ...what a great piece!

Great start. On the edge of your dark tan section, a few planter boxes would look great. Plants/trees really liven up a street scene.

Looking at this, along with your “Roast Mutton” you certainly have quite the eye & talent for landscape.

I like the little gear on the underside of the mushroom, very clever.

Ditto. At least the rest of my LEGO buying won’t suffer too much due to the amount of HP sets.

While we already know the set, I would love to see the wooden duck as an anniversary set.

Star Wars Episode 8, The Last Jedi discussion. **SPOILERS**
Vindicare replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I see there’s quite a few complaints about Luke carelessly tossing his saber. They did that, I think, to portray to us that Luke wanted nothing to do with the Jedi Order-as if his isolation wasn’t enough. It was a jarring moment for me, almost crushing to a certain extent. -
Star Wars Episode 8, The Last Jedi discussion. **SPOILERS**
Vindicare replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I audibly gasped when Kylo killed Snoke, despite seeing the saber turn towards him. Damn. Then the ensuing team up fight was awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed this & put my original theory of Rey being Luke’s daughter to doubt(I did think she could be Han’s daughter on the back burner). Now, I think she is Ben’s sister(didn’t he have one in the books?). The scenes on Ach-To were a fun watch, I really liked the dive into the Force. Even though I saw Rey’s hand lift the pebbles about 45,000 times, it still got me. The connection between Ben & Rey coulda be further evidence of them being siblings...or it could just be the writers/director/whoever Jedi Mind Tricking us. I do t buy for a second her parents we’re junk dealers... he’s just using that to persuade her. The Phasma fight was a bit too anticlimactic. It should’ve gone on longer or been more fierce in the time it lasted. For being the “against the norm” of a Stormtrooper, she was very much underused. Overall, another great addition to the saga. I was grinning throughout & on the edge of my seat at times. Oh! And Snoke’s Star Destroyer was dope! -

Pertaining to this section of topics, I too would have to go with Assembly Square. I especially liked all the bits of past Modulars brought into it. And the Cafe Corner tile. Theres lots of good mentions, Pizza Van & Ford GT set. The new-ish Le Mans racer is a sexy beast.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Vindicare replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
I’m fairly certain they’re the same, but my eyes aren’t so great. So, I’ll ask the experts. I got Kiss Kiss Tuxedo Batman & performed the “surgery” of removing the pin & want to get another cowl. Are the Movie ones the same as the regular DC ones? I ask because I won’t be buying online(likely) and instead at my local third party store. I want to be sure I’m getting him the correct cowl. -
75169 Duel on Naboo. Finally got around to buying this(my favorite score & one of the top saber fights). Taking advantage of the decent LEGO sales, especially since I don’t get much LEGO from friends & family for Christmas, I’m making up for it myself.

Display box for minifigs on YouTube.

Haha, that’s kinda cool. I have a picture of my Marvel minifigs similar to this, sans box.- 3 replies

71251 B.A. Baracus I’m kicking myself for taking this long to buy him, such a great minifig! And the build is pretty cool too.

This is your first? Quite the undertaking for a first. It looks fantastic. If you haven’t, you should take a loom at pictures from the “LEGO Americana Roadshow.”

LEGO in Film & TV: Index of Appearances

That skit was hilarious, I was dying. I paused to get a goood look, it’s from next years logging sub theme. Tonight on Hawaii Five O, an impressive little collection of Creator sets were used as a visual aid in retelling of a story. -
Got myself an early Christmas present, and finally got Emperor Palpatine, 75183 Darth Vader Transformation.

LEGO Brick without Lego Stamp? Help?
Vindicare replied to skippyfontainne's topic in General LEGO Discussion
That’s definitely odd. I just checked my set, I have the LEGO stamp on the end of it. Maybe there was a batch of that set that got that treatment... Looking further...my brick doesn’t have the “11-236” but it does have 15 across from the 3001. Then 238 below the 15. -
I come here mostly for inspiration for layouts. I like seeing who put which Modulars together, or what additions were added to make the city come alive. I do enjoy seeing Modular MOCs that people have done, it’s really incredible. I look at almost every MOC vehicle & such that are on here, but I rarely comment because I do not have much to add(not much of a MOC’er).

That’s quite the MOD...I like the base it’s built upon(and around Rancor Pit. I’ve seen a few different ones & it always makes me want to do the same. The added touches of the poor GONK droid are nice.

I’m thinking we won’t see any HP until the second half of the year. Mostly because we’ve seen pictures for practically everything but HP(unless I just missed them...).

LEGO in Film & TV: Index of Appearances
Vindicare replied to Izzy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Haha, who knew LEGO bricks had that much influence?! One little out of time piece ruins a 2 long movie where said brick is but a passing moment. I don’t even remember the LEGO turtle. Maybe be because I was too busy watching that movie out of the corner of my eye..Horror movies aren’t my thing, but my brother wanted the see it & I've dragged him to enough of my movie types.
