Also you have a good eye, yes most of the dark brown hull pieces, the two stairs, and four slopes, along with the treasure trunk are from the LOTR ship, everything else is from the parts bin, or custom made. 169D This is the Brig Avenger that was tweaked for my son. We needed a ship to help protect the our blue coat port as we ready for the 2015 blue coat port sets. From the crows nest, "Admiral!! a pritate ship on the horizon". (Updated battle pictures at end of thread) Vengeance approaches and she readies for battle.

Captain Braunsfeld, Thank you Kolonialbeamter, Thank you it's one of my favorites as well. Dr Spock, Thanks, I actually hold the phone on its side and let it rest on a surface, like the hand rail of the ship etc.

Here a few special effect pictures. First up, the water on the trampoline to get the outside blackseas effect. Second, is white poster board background with blue paper covered with clear blue wrapping plastic to get the wave a reflection. Also shadowed corners to give the looking through telescope effect. Next up, the on board cell phone shots, great for getting up close and down low.

Nicely done Frigate, this version far exceeds the previous versions. Congrats, she's magnificent, well proportioned, and I even like all the livestock on deck. Great job Captain, David

Eddie, Thanks your compliment is greatly appreciated. Yes I agree the modern figures don't fit the nostalgic style of the MOC galleon, I just wanted to see how these figures would look. Couldn't resist putting the new Mega Blocks Assassins Creed Black Flag pirate minifigures on my MOC Galleon Vengeance to see how they looked. Edward has commandeered this 10 cannon galleon and raised the black flag. They have just attacked a Britsh Sloop of War and are preparing to board. What will happen next?

It is a fantastic and beautiful ship, I've viewed this single ship more than any other posted. It reminds me a lot of the HMS Surpise, low and sleek. The stern "wow", one of my favorite features. Great job, I know it's an inspiration to many of us.

Captain Braunsfeld, Thank you too for your compliment. The water is solid blue wrapping paper with transparent blue wrapping wrinkled to give the effect of waves. The clear blue is also very glossy which gives a good water type reflection. The clear blue wrap is used at Easter to wrap Easter baskets. Thank again everyone, David

166A Vengeance II Updated 5/31/15 "page 2" The Pirate Galleon "Vengeance". She's evolved over 6 months from my original MOC four cannon brig to a true galleon, with three decks, three masts, the forward and main masts are square-rigged and the after mast lanteen-rigged, the spirit mast is square-rigged as well. She's longer, taller, and planked on all decks. Thanks for looking, and this is a fun hobby that I share with sons. UPDATED 5/31/15 (Page 2) "VENGEANCE II"
