Game/Movie Medieval Heroes - custom minifigs
Ltfalcon replied to Ltfalcon's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Hello all, I was impressed with the effect the gaming mat had for taking pictures so I decided to setup a village market using it. Hope you enjoy the pictures, Minifigs view of the village. -
Thank you, Here is a sky view down.

I've been building market stalls and kit bashing minifigures for gaming and setup a market place. I took some minifig view pictures around the market. I used a Pathfinder gaming mat for the ground. Hope you like the pictures.

A friend let me know that one of our local Flea Markets had some Lego stuff. I stopped by at lunch and found a box of goodness for $20.00 :) I started construction and assumed some pieces would be missing and after a $11.00 bricklink order here is the result; PRICELESS.... I now own an offical Black Pearl :)

Bootleg Super Heroes minifigs - worth it or not?
Ltfalcon replied to KingPixels's topic in Community
I totally agree, they use ABS based inks which bond to the ABS bricks and they do not contain any heavy metals including lead. All plastic parts coming out of China are RoHS compliant. The whole Brick Show sham is due to the sales they lost to clone minifigure sales. Which is worse (Brick Show) scalping Lego at a show or someone selling clones at the show? I would buy the clone..... -

Custom Tankard - for thirsty adventurers
Ltfalcon replied to Ltfalcon's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Thanks I appreciate all the great replies. -
Thought I'd try my hand at a custom piece. This is made from a single round, single round tile, and a key. First I drilled a hole through the single round, then with a razor knife I cut the key. The top of the key was cut long to press fit in the hole and the bottom of the key was cut short to fit flush with the round tile at the bottom. I super glued the top hole and pressed the top key handle in. "Medieval custom Tankard"

I found these in the hobby section at Walmart and they make great belts and straps to gear up your mini figures for adventure. They are Wonder Loom rubber bands, I picked up the reddish brown color to match with existing packs and weapons. They also have many other colors including green and black. As you can see they work great!!

Nice tower! It looks very cool. You may want to add additional pictures taken from different directions or angles to help show the sides and top. Great work, brick on.
