  1. Scary thought, that. Your Gryffindor house will become a second Ravenclaw. But it would definitely create some political change! The thought is enough to make one feel sorry for poor Ron. Doddy? . I do predict that you are not the only one who will suffer a loss of about $400 dollars, and maybe more if Svelte's prediction comes true. Sirius
  2. I know, but since SW doesn't have a Yeti, the poor rebel troops might be confused . And Wampas are (siriusly) cooler . Sirius
  3. While they definitely aren't everything in the larger sets, in the 10-20 dollar ones, they make up a large portion of the set. Honestly, how well rated would a SW battle pack (the stormtroopers one, for example) be rated if the minifigs weren't a main factor. And sets of this price RARELY have four figures, excluding the SW theme. most city sets have 1-2 figs, and three is a good amount. Just becuase a figure is widely available doesn't make it a bad fig, HP himself has an excellent torso print, although his face is average, and Lucius and Dobby are outstanding figs. At the least, this set bears an average, if not an above average for the unique figures, quantity, and unique bricks (books are pretty rare, after all). Though it would have been cool to have a Dumbledore, doing so would have pushed up the price. Sirius
  4. I can honestly say that quite a few of the sets that i have gotten are for the parts selection. For the future, i will most definitely getting multiples of Hogwarts Castle for its tan selection, as i am planning a Hogwarts Castle for the future. Sirius
  5. This does sound intriguing, but with so little information, it will be hard to tell whether or not it bears resemblance to HP. Is it a part of the HP universe, a similar product, or an entirely new idea. We don't really know. This could have a lot of potential if it is done right. 100th post! Sirius
  6. The Wampa is the Star Wars Yeti, so logically by taking the Wampa, you would take him. . Just remember that Luke couldn't handle the cold at night, so be careful with your rebel troops . Sirius
  7. If you are talking about my comment a few pages back, i wasn't being Sirius serious, i was kidding due to the fact that Shadows has an excellent manipulative capability. Not that I won't be on my guard against him from the start if I ever get to play him . Metagaming- Metagaming is a broad term usually used to define any strategy, action or method used in a game which transcends a prescribed ruleset, uses external factors to affect the game, or goes beyond the supposed limits or environment set by the game. ... From Wikipedia, and i know what you are going to say about this source . It would most certainly be cheating to vote someone off because of their skill, but it would not be to realize that some people are better players, and can come up with better excuses, than others. Sirius
  8. Excellent review! I never released Malfoy Sr. had a double sided head, this will definitely help with the exorbitant Death Eater fig prices on BL and eBay. But i do have to wonder why he would have that mask on hand entering Hogwarts in bk 2 . I do not quite why several people voted this as below average, the minifigs alone make this an excellent set. The old Dobby's Release set bore little accuracy to the movie in terms of color choices, so i have to say that i like this one better Looking forward to the Quidditch review! Sirius
  9. Apologies, i did not intend to misinterpret your message. I was merely referring to some previous statements made that were derogatory. I did not mean to offend. Sirius.
  10. When will they become available at TLG.com? Sirius (Sorry if this has been posted already)
  11. Mesa don't think that yousa chooses a bombad moc ideas. Mesa is a pretty immature. Or did yousa mean that yousa is killing me? . I am curious as to what you can do with Binks, besides kill him. I enjoy anything pirates or HP related. I hope to start work on a Hogwarts this winter or next spring Mesa gonna finish this message up now. Yousa enjoy! Sirius
  12. I really don't think that degrading a five yr old's mental capacity is a fair argument. At that age, and stage in his collection, it is unlikely that he would have more than a few sets, so he might not have a brick separator. I didn't get one till i was 10. These derogatory comments really need to stop, it is a 5 year old, and we should understand that kids make mistakes, and act their age. Instead, we should be hoping that he gets better, and keeps bricking. Sirius
  13. Or a Wampa . I'm sure he would enjoy it.
  14. Is it respect, or is it confusion? Most people tend to follow a "leader" in these games, and Shadows easily leads them astray. He is a good player, but I also agree that this should change next game . Unless he is on my side, of course . Sirius.
  15. Well, Svelte has a hidden set that he is taunting us about, so it is possible that this "surprise" set that you are talking about would be that. But does that mean that Svelte's exclusive set will only have 1 exclusive figure? Unless the others are figures in new costumes So the figure image will be released tomorrow? Sirius
  16. What technique was used for the stars? they look intriguing. I would personally have tried to insert the moon partially into the sky, but the rock still looks good. Great work! Sirius
  17. I picked up a UCS Falcon for $400 AFTER it was out of stock on all online websites! NIB as well, in the original shipping box, which was unopened. I also picked up about 120 of the Collectible Minifigs series one after they were out of stock as well. I wonder if Borders will have series 2 available? Sirius
  18. Excellent summary of the viewpoints! I tend to think that TLG wouldn't show both of the Ginny minifigures when neither Ron, Draco, or Harry have their alternate figures. And Ginny isn't a main character either. I could see a second Harry, but a second Ginny? Sirius
  19. Siriusly, when Shadows is in a game, you just need to vote him out first day, end of story . That was his 7th victory? Impressive, quite impressive. Sirius
  20. If TLG does this, we can skip the Cruciatus and just AK them . Well, we still don't have any guarantee either way, but let's not lose all hope. EDIT If TLG puts up two Ginny figs, i will be stunned. It wasn't done for Harry w Quidditch, alt Draco, etc. How much do you want to bet . Joking.. I really do hope that it is Sirius, as some have speculated, but i am slightly prejudiced. Siriusly . I don't really expect it to be him, though. Eagerly awaiting the last figure, the official release of the sets, DH part 1, this mystery set, a second HP wave, and DH part 2. Did I miss anything? Sirius
  21. I know, I know, It was a VERY dramatic ending, and as someone else said, reminded me of official books and movies. Old and Pudgy??? Are we talking about the same Harry here ? I still like my equation though . Have you considered any future mafia game hosting? This is one of the best that i have seen. Sirius
  22. I guess that a sequel is not the proper term, but an alternate universe would be. The HP universe has a lot of potential for fun mafia games with the various spells, charms, potions, etc. I could easily see a Death Eater based game among the student faculty, or the DA. (think of Draco Malfoy in bk 6). Btw, didnt you see my equation? Harry shouldn't have been killed by Grindelwald . Sirius
  23. Ginny more so than Hannah. .
  24. Or possibly one from a different part of the HP fanfiction universe. Btw, how could you kill THE Harry Potter, Sandy? He already dealt with a far greater wizard, He who must not be named, and then he gets killed by a wizard weaker than Dumbledore Lets do some Algebra here. Dumbledore > Grindelwand Voldemort = Dumbledore (neither could kill the other) Harry > Voldemort (5 to 6 times over) therefore Harry > Grindelwald You have a bit of explaing to do .
  25. Not surprised to see these on discount .
