Marvel Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
jonwil replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Is it possible that the use of the different bow design reflects differences in the bow in different media? -
I also want the astrodog torso (among other things) but I doubt there will be any way for me to get one here in Australia anytime soon except for ordering on Bricklink (no doubt at high prices due to the limited availability of the part and at high shipping since it would have to come from overseas)

Of the above suggested animals I love the idea of a sheep (one that fits better with normal figures and animals than the Friends lamb), a rhino and a kangaroo. For the jungle I want to add a hippo and a gorilla and a giraffe to the list. For the outback I want to add an emu and maybe a lizard of some sort to go with the snake we already have. Oh and if its possible, take the newer style bigger spider in black and print some red on the abdomen to make a redback spider.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

My last B&P order hasn't even arrived yet and I am already building a wish list for the next one :) Looking at the latest additions to the Brickset database I see even more I want like the Vita Rush printed 1 x 1 round brick, #1 Mayor torso, new control panel slope (seen in the Main Square set), updated 1x2 letter print tile and the new yellow nose from the tram in the Main Square set. -
We have had some nice buses over the years from LEGO IMO but no articulated bendy bus has ever been released. I think my favorite is the bus from the 2017 Bus Station set although the long-distance coach from the 2010 Public Transport Station is a close second. I would love to see LEGO do an articulated bendy bus and it would be an instant buy unless they priced it way too high (like they did with this year's Main Square set). Or a classic US style yellow school bus (its been done in Hidden Side with that funky bus set, its been done in Cars with the crazy school bus character, its been done a few times in Duplo and its even been done in a Friends set but its never been done in a City set before)

I think the Iron Man helmet is far and away the best Marvel set of 2020. -

What I don't get is why there would be different availability in different countries if all B&P orders get shipped from one single warehouse... Hopefully some of the good non-licensed parts from the newer sets become available like the sweater on the cop in the City Advent Calendar (and the police badge print), the hearing aid head from the Town Square, the dark red, dark green and cool yellow doors from the Diagon Alley, the lavender legs and 1x1 round plate with hole in dark tan also from that set and and the coffee-in-face head on the fire fighter in the Town Square. I also hope the new glass piece in Diagon Alley isn't considered "licensed" and I can get some (I already got 2 in clear from the HP CMFs but I want them in trans-orange as well :) -
Is that one the rumored Colosseum or is the Colosseum a different set?
-
They could use that "light royal blue" color seen in e.g. the body of Maggie from The Simpsons or for all the blue parts in the Harry Potter Beauxbatons' Carriage set. It would be a good match to the "cool yellow" color they used this year in some of the Police sets as a stripe (and also used to great effect in the Creator Fiat set)

BaM stations here in Australia are still closed (with at least one store I have seen having pre-made packs but none of the newer parts). One store I visited did briefly have their station open but closed it again (probably because it was impossible to enforce the "you must wear gloves" rule unlike with the PaB wall)

REVIEW: 71028 LEGO Minifigures - Harry Potter Series 2

I forgot about the Lion from Oz, I can use that figure as-is (with a suitable yellow human head) for my "lion suit guy". -
REVIEW: 71028 LEGO Minifigures - Harry Potter Series 2
jonwil replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Licensed
Snagged these earlier today. (the ones I wanted anyway) So many great parts in this series (Harry's jumper and jeans, the butterbeer glass, Luna's jumper, pants and lion headgear, Griphook's coat and sword, James's suit and scarf, Ginny's "cocktail glass" and brown ice-cream scoops, Fred's case, the Marauder's Map, Bellatrix's cuffs and prison number, Kingsley's outfit and hat) I wonder if there is a suitable torso that would work with the lion headgear to make a "lion suit guy" for my zoo... -
I have spotted both the Halloween and Winter sets at LEGO stores here in Australia recently so they are definitely not US/CA-only.

I suspect the size of your order will impact how long it takes to ship (i.e. larger orders take longer to ship) -

Don't think I have seen it mentioned here but the new City Town Square set includes a new head with a hearing aid. -

I have an order placed on the 5th that is still "in warehouse". -
Another thing they could do would be another jail set. They did that jail island a while back (good set that), another jail to hold all the criminals in LEGO City would be cool.
-
I still think a "Mountain Rescue" line (done properly) could provide as much of the playability and kid-attraction as another wave of Coast Guard sets while being different enough to appeal to those (like me) who already have a bunch of Coast Guard sets and parts.

Marvel Superheroes 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

What about Star Lord, he wears a helmet in one of the movies IIRC. And what about Black Panther (Hasbro has made a "Marvel Legends Helmet" for the character so clearly its thought of as a helmet and not just a mask) -
Its possible that they might do some sort of remote control karts if they did Mario Kart. Something similar to that remote control Batmobile they did a while back.

Finally managed to snag the Iron Man Helmet at a discount. Haven't built it yet but just looking at the box makes me excited :) Just finished building it and it is AWESOME. Are there any other Marvel universe heroes that could be made into a similar set? -
Technic 2020 Set Discussion

Looks like every exclusive part listed on http://www.brickfinder.net/2020/07/23/lego-technic-bell-boeing-v-22-osprey-42113-instructions/ is for sale except the rotor blade and the battery box. -
I think I got all of them identified. #1 is Medium Blue #2 is Medium Lavender #3 is Dark Pink #4 is Magenta #5 is Bright Pink #6 is Dark Azure and #7 is Dark Purple

Does LEGO have some way to update the firmware of the Mario figure? Or would new barcodes and etc in any new wave only work with a new figure that has new firmware?
